The best restaurants in Dunoon Argyll & Bute Central Scotland

Felt like a Winston there lol...

We got a carry out from here last night. The special omelette was absolutely brilliant . Chips were a bit dry. The chicken chow mien was lovely tasting but the noodles used are too thin for me but that’s a personal preference only. Otherwise it was very tasty. Would recommend

Good take out - in my opinion best in Dunoon

The service when ordering is very strange. Instead of taking the whole order the server keeps running away after each item is ordered. This doesn't really leave any chance to ask for extra as for example different milk if needed for dietary requirements. The food was ok and the rest of the service was quick. The atmosphere is a bit like a school cafeteria.

The best chicken kebab ever! Delivery service was very quick. The meat was beautiful cooked and seasoned on a lovely nan with lots of delicious veg, both fresh and chargrilled. Yum!

Called in for a spot of lunch. Very nice. Dogs have their own little section on the menu too. Great views over the lake nice place to sit with a coffee and admire the views. We returned a few days latter.

I first of all want to say I did not stay at this hotel but I had the miss fortune of eating here. When we came into the hotel we asked at the bar can we take a table which was fine however no one came to take our order so I had to go to the bar I decided I only wanted the light bites off the menu my husband wanted fish and chips. I was then told no they stop serving that at 5pm no mention of this on the menu then I asked for the baked potato and was told no we don’t do that either. The table behind us asked for light bits as well and was refused. So I agreed to have fish and chips also. The girl made me pay at the bar prior to the meal. They then proceeded to come and give all the other clients table service and they did not need to pay in advance. The fish was very greasy the chips were ok. However we were not given as much as a knife and fork or napkin I had to go looking for it. Worst place I have been for a while in Dunoon. Only reason I went was because it was recommended by my Waitrose delivery man.

Lovey food, got a small breakfast (it aint small) that came fast and you can see the sea out of the window 5 out of 5 would 100% recomend

If a could give u less than a one star a would, don’t even know where to start arrived table wasn’t ready waited about 15 mins for that even though we made a booking the week prior, their people skills was atrocious. We had been giving wrong food like over 3/4 times steaks weren’t cooked the way we asked for them gave out a pasta and wasn’t the one we had ordered, worst place in Dunoon by far

Popped in for a drink, staff were nice, sadly homeless hostel residents that drink there were quite abusive to tourists, why this tolerated is beyond me. I'll take my custom elsewhere.

Been here a few times now and the food is always pretty good! The chips are nice and crispy and the pizzas are exactly as you'd expect, pretty damn good.

It was a wet Saturday night in April. Only 2 other people sitting in but, decided to go in. The food was absolutely delicious. Had the platter for 2, this was a selection of starter. The mains were equally very good. The service was excellent, the chef popped out to ask if the food was ok. Highly recommended. The takeaway was very busy.
