What a beautiful place to stop and rest to nourish the body and soul! Stopped in here for a coffee and cake and it was lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive and happy to chat with you. Service was great and unhurried. Coffees were very nice and the Paradise Cake 👍🏻👍🏻. Highly recommend it and yes, I’ll be back!!

We stayed at the Loch Lomond Arms to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. Our room was upgraded and we received complimentary Prosecco and dessert when we dined in the restaurant. The service we received from the staff was outstanding, we were made to feel very welcome. This along with the wonderful standard of rooms and meals made our trip feel very special. Beautiful location with lots to see and do - Couldn’t recommend highly enough

As a frequent visitor I feel obliged to leave a review. The restaurant is under new management. Friendly, professional and sadly at the moment in winter - quiet. Food is delicious and great value for money. With the staff only too courteous, we always enjoy a run up to the Slanj for lunch and cakes. I can’t comment on alcohol offering as I’m driving, but the coffees are lovely.

Visited the last weekend of February for food and a few beers, food was excellent and very reasonably priced.. Bar prices are very reasonable. Good overall vibe in both the restaurant and bar areas... Staff could be a little cheerier but taking into account the good food, beers and pricing that wouldn't put me off visiting again.

Lovely cosy and warm room with a double and a single bed!! Bathroom was great and even had a bath but was really cold though with no heater. There was a good selection of tea and coffee provided, however the milk was very out of date. Some of it was cheese!! Would maybe be better with a small jug of fresh milk.

Scallops were absolutely delicious and the beef and ale pie was melt in the mouth. A great selections of wines and a lovely stop for dinner after a long day visiting distilleries. Staff were attentive, surprised just how busy it was for a Monday evening.

I am giving you an excellent review based on previous visits but arrived Thursday 14th November at 11:15 and it was closed. Website says open at 10:00 and opening time on door says 10:30. Several people left disappointed during my 20min seat on bench. Off to Port Bannatyne for my brunch. Can you update your opening hours on door and social media platforms.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Easter weekend. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was spotless, we had a dog and everyone was very friendly around the dog and just as welcoming. Thres the restaurant which doesn't welcome dogs which is separate from the bar side which which does welcome dogs so they accommodate both. We had breakfast lunch and dinner, although the menus aren't the biggest the food is absolutely outstanding, one of the best places we've ate to date. The prices are fantastic and we couldn't recommend the hotel more. It's very cozy, has a fire and you'll want for nothing. Peter, Caitlin and Ellie were on duty during our few days aswell as another girl. They were all very well educated in the area and extremely helpful. If your looking to stay in connell or close to Oban CHOOSE HERE! the sunset and surroundings are beautiful. We extended our stay because we loved it that much. And was surprised that we got a change of bedding and new towels when we came back from our walk out room was completely refreshed. 😁 We will definitely be back again! Thanks so much team!

On the 17th may my daughter and I, after having a few days break at one of the holiday lodges nearby, were about to enter these licensed premises. We stopped first at a rubbish disposal area on the opposite side of the road to dispose of a very small black bin liner first, to keep the area clean As the wheelie bins were open and there was no sign at the entrance and it was on the other side of the road to this establishment. Suddenly an employee who did not identify himself, appeared at the entrance and in a threatening and aggressive manner shouted at me that we couldn't place rubbish in the wheelie bin as he owned it. I then asked where I should dispose of it. H e replied, "I don't F****** care". I suggested that he places a sign next to the entrance to the bin corner as I wasn't psychic and I informed this employee that his manner was threatening, aggressive and obscene. The employee again replied, I don't F****** care, I'm F***** leaving on Saturday". I would strongly advise anyone considering visiting this establishment to stay well clear until the manager can reassure the public that this man has indeed left the hotel. Mr, A Major, Dr, H Habibi

The Mish is a Tobermory institution and deservedly so. Its Mishdish restaurant is warm and homey, with a reasonably priced menu whose componentsare mostly sourced locally. We had a lovely evening there over a bottle of wine and excellent and generous servings of seafood and veggie specialities. For starters we had oysters, haggis bites, and a vegetable tartlet, followed by mains of langoustines, hake and a wild mushroom bourgignon with celeriac mash. Everything was served with courtesy and care for the customer. We will surely be back.

Myself and my husband visited here on 26/04/25. We had drinks at the bar and all of the younger girls serving were absolutely lovely and friendly - a real credit to the place. We also had food which was lovely. Only real negative was that my husband ordered mussels as a main but there were hardly any. They came in a huge pot which was filled less than half and some were closed so couldn’t be eaten. We came here especially for the mussels, which were Really disappointing for the price.

We arrived on a late ferry from Oban and drove through the dark on single lane roads to get to Dervaig. Lucky for us we had programmed the location in our GPS because signal on the island is spotty at best. We arrived exhausted and hungry and the staff at the Bellachroy took excellent care of us, even letting us use their landline to contact our BnB. The food was excellent, the ambiance was super friendly. Our waitress was the best, and we laughed so much with her and the customers in the next table.
