We popped in for dinner after seeing good reviews on here and it didn’t disappoint. I had the chicken fajitas with some salt and chilli fries. The chicken was brilliantly cooked, really tasty but not too spicy. The fries were delicious. My husband had the Ben Arthur’s Bothy Wrap and he really enjoyed that too. We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back when we’re in the area again.

Went for drinks and dinner while staying in Arrochar for the night. Good menu choices and portion sizes, reasonably priced. Food was great. Friendly, attentive staff. Would recommend.

Fantastic pub ,we stayed in local caravan park. Been many times with our dog, always busy and always meet new people , its a gem of-a pub!!

We ate here yesterday and tonight, service is very good as we’re the meals, scampi, curry and fish and chips , lovely meals and very good value for money. We are going to eat there tomorrow too as the meals are excellent.

Beautiful spot for a meal on your way through! We were staying in Tarbet and went on the hunt for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled across Ben Arthur’s Bothy and honestly it was the best meal we had during our tile in the area! I got the Ben Arthur wrap and my partner got the Ben Arthur burger and we shared the haloumi starter and it was just all delicious with a view out over Loch Long. Staff were very friendly and warm and we just had a lovely experience!

Outside seating on the roadside and spectacular views over Loch Long from the inside. Pretty basics wee lounge but had all we needed. There was a hen night in and a karaoke starting too. Plenty staff on that were chatty when serving. Give it a go!

Nice place with lovely views food was nice and reasonable priced only complaint the man working there (Tom) very rude and does not have a nice attitude. Went in at 12 in afternoon and he was making a point to tell us tables were booked out but weren't booked until nearer 7 o'clock at night. His face tripping him when anyone asked him for anything.

We stayed for one night (planned) during our cycling holiday. The room was clean if a little warm due to the hot weather. The staff were absolutely top drawer, very friendly and welcoming, from the lady on reception who booked us in, through to the bar staff who looked after us and served great cold beer and lovely fresh fish and chips. We’d requested quite an early breakfast and it was no trouble at all, arriving on time and with a friendly smile. The breakfast was superb, all freshly cooked to order, it arrived hot and perfectly cooked. Lovely place that was just what we were looking for. The views across the bay are fabulous too, from diving sea birds to wading herons. All good but it’s the staff who really make this place. We will be back

Whilst visiting Scotland we stumbled upon this little pub whilst driving through Arrochar. We were 30 miles away from our guesthouse so decided to stay for a drink and food. There is parking to the rear with outside seating overlooking Loch Long. We ordered the Cajun chicken burger and the bbq pulled pork wrap. Prices were extremely reasonable and cheaper than anywhere else we had seen. The food was nicely presented and so tasty we decided that the next night we would make the 60 mile round trip to eat there again. If we're ever near here again we most definitely will be back. 100% recommended.
