Campbells Coffee House and Eatery made for a lovely little pause in the day. Tucked into a charming space with warm tones and a friendly feel, it has that inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while.
I ordered a hot latte, and it hit the spot smooth, rich, and served at just the right temperature. The kind of coffee that wakes you up without being too bold or bitter. The presentation was simple but thoughtful, with a nice layer of foam and that comforting roasted aroma curling into the air.
The café itself was clean and relaxed, with just the right amount of ambient hum from conversations and clinking cups. It feels like a local favorite the kind of place where you could bring your laptop, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a quiet solo moment.
I didn’t try the food this time, but the baked goods on display looked tempting, and the menu offered a solid range of lunch and breakfast options for next time.
Service was friendly and quick, though seating was a bit limited during the mid-morning rush. If you’re popping in at peak hours, be prepared to hover for a spot.
We found this cafe by accident and I am so glad we did . The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and the views from the enclosed terrace were amazing !!
We have been to the Clachan many times. The atmosphere is great and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is also exceptional! Would highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised, (it's a very unpreposesing restaurant from the outside) this restaurant served a very good meal, especially the masala dosa which was excellent. Service was good and no complaints. Recommended.
We have been going to the Cafe Royale for over 3 years now on a monthly basis, it was recommended to us when we moved from England by our Solicitor in Glasgow. She remembered it from being taken by her grandfather and said it was the best Fish shop in the world. She is, was and always will be 100% correct!!! We've lived and visited countless places across the globe and though there are plenty of fish and chip shops closer to us, they've all let us down for one reason or another. Cafe Royale has been consistently the best for over 3 years for us and we've simply stopped going elsewhere. Please keep on doing what you do guys..

Stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover on our way to Campbeltown. The place itself is very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is 1st class. Rooms are very comfortable. They have a regular menu and a specials board. Value for money is brilliant including the price of the drinks in the bar. It's a very busy bar and at weekends may be a little noisy.......but hey nowhere is perfect !! Only downside is the parking. We were fortunate and got a space. Situated on the shores of Gare Loch would thoroughly this place.
Lovely, friendly place. Great live music.
Reasonable prices
Staff first class. Food was delicious.
Will be back when we return to Dunblane.
Very dog friendly x
Restaurant was only open very limited hours at the time of our visit due to Covid restrictions. Had a nice meal and wine at reasonable price served by very helpful, friendly staff
