Lovely meal. Starters and mains. South Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken was excellent. Recommended restaurant.

Been using this place for a while now and is very consistent, both take away and sit in. Flavours are amazing from all the various dishes iv had and the spicy King prawn kali mirch is phenomenal. The guys within the restaurant are very helpful when explaining the different types of dishes and flavours to expect when you have a few in your party that prefer to avoid the spicy ones.

If you order food from this place, you don’t really need a dessert. Sugar dumped in every single curry. The amount of sugar in “Southindian garlic chilli” was just ridiculous. Desi’s it’s not the food you expect. Stay away

What a great menu of food, the staff are very warming and great with the Indian and Nepalese knowledge of cuisine. We had Chicken Pakora and Onion Baji to start then a Lamb Chasni and Chicken Tikka Khardhi. Dishes were well presented and tasted amazing

Ordered take-out for the first time in months. Essential items were missing from the delivery but extremely rude staff member refused to send them out after phoning and explaining the situation. Ended up binning the lot and claiming for a refund. Would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. ZERO STARS!

Nepalese sauce, delicious. Lamb chops, delicious. Chicken Tikka, delicious, tandoori prawn, delicious, chicken pakora, delicious 23/05/24 another delicious meal one of the best Indians around

We were only here staying locally for one night as we were seeing a show at the Alhambra Theatre. Went here for a meal and food was excellent (probably best we have had in a long time). Staff very friendly and efficient also. I’m sure we will be back if nearby again in the future.

My wife and I visit here regularly in the early evening thus it's not necessary to book. Food is always top notch, reasonably priced and generous portions. The decor is nice with illuminated ceiling panels.

Brilliant staff and brilliant food. Have been as part of a big group, smaller family meal and numerous takeaways. Food and service are of a great standard and good options for vegetarians.

We use the Apricot for our carry outs for family birthdays etc. Always first class.

We have the takeaway dinner for 2 deal quite often which has always been very tasty and ready quickly. Tried a few of the curries and have been happy with all. The meal for 2 easily lasts until lunch the next day.

We have been here a few times for a meal while in Dunfermline and had a couple of takeaways as well, the food has been great every time and the staff are friendly and chatty, ready to help if you have a question. Will definitely be back for more. I recommend the Chicken Jalfrezi.

This was my second visit after Apricot coming under new ownership, and to say I'm bitterly disappointed is an understatement. We dined on a Friday night, and were shocked to find the restaurant almost empty, where previously it was always busy at the weekend. The meal itself was mediocre, nothing compared to how Apricot used to be. The atmosphere and service were also lacking, we felt very rushed whilst earing, with dishes being removed before we had even finished them. I'm really sad that my favourite Indian restaurant has turned out like this. We won't return.

Shocking service. Waited 20 minutes to be seated after booking for 7. Waited 2 hours for our starter!!! They then said it was too late to cook my husband's chops would he like something else 😱 another waiter then said they'd run out of chops, what was the real reason 🤔. They also didn't have sauvignon wine, I'm sure they could have popped over to Tesco for half a dozen bottles 😡. We've been a few times and the food and service was first class but totally disappointed this time. We paid for our drinks and the starters we eventually got then left hungry and angry. Don't book so many people in if you can't cope Apricot!!

We ended up here after walking out another restaurant and do glad we did. Everything was fantastic and will be back. Amazing food, service and prices.

This is the BEST Indian/Nepalese in the country! Food is off the scale good, every dish is different, flavours, presentation and quality of ingredients. We use it regularly, whether dining in or taking away the food is always amazing. Great service as well. Lamb Choila is sensational by the way, as is the Puri. Mr James

Had the most beautiful dinner at this restaurant. They serve the best Indian - Nepali cuisines in all of Scotland I believe. Found this gem in the heart of Dunfermline accidentally. The food was amazing and the service personnel especially the guy named ' Ali' was super cool in giving us the most pleasant dining experience. We tried the Lamb biriyani and another Lamb dish ( leg of baby lamb with basmati rice ) which was exceptional. He ( Ali) understood our taste buds and hence suggested the medium spicy versions of the dishes. We'll definitely go there again several times for their food and ten outta ten service experience. Love it ❤️

My sister's long-time favourite restaurant in Dunfermline, so I visited with my mum. Service was very warm and friendly. On recommendation from the waiter, we ordered the lamb shank which was tender and flavourful, in masala sauce and accompanied by rice. The prawn starter Piro Jhinge Macha was absolutely delicious. I will most definitely be back.

So sad! Has been told lots of good things so we decided to give it a go! Chicken korma chicken looked pink in almost every bit( this was our second plate) but first try of this so we then did not eat any more meat! Unfortunately they forgot to ask for our drinks and then when we asked for the bill they also forgot , we aren’t ones to complain as understand it was a busy Sunday! But unfortunately don’t think we will be back. Real shame as some of the flavours were great just very unfortunate about the pink chicken.

Our favourite Indian restaurant, food is always delicious and a cut above competition. Prices are reasonable, particularly the Sunday buffet which has become a weekly essential. We are always made to feel very welcome and the service is always spot on. Thanks team and see you soon!

Thought id leave a review as I ordered on Uber eats the meal for 2 and it was absolutely Amazing, they followed through what I asked on the order and the food was smashing, I’ll be back but to sit in and dine soon I need to tip them for this order I would’ve added photos but it got demolished the minute the bag was open best veg pakora I’ve had in a long time

Quite possibly the best Indian restaurant in Fife by a county mile. We always have a great meal here. The restaurant is well lit, clean and tidy with a good atmosphere to have a family meal. The service is second to none and my favourite dish the Chicken Madras is always tasty and consistent. I love the staff here. They are friendly and patient, which is appreciated with my family. To summarise, a great place for an authentic high quality meal at a fair price.

Food here was excellent & reasonably priced (chili & honey chips were outstanding) , staff were very helpful & friendly, there was a bonus of a live music session (Thursday evening) which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The Latte at the end of the evening was disappointing although we never mentioned it.

Just had a delivery from apricot, worst curry in a very long time, the chicken chilli garlic tasted like sweet n sour chicken, not an Indian taste, very disappointing, my plain Nan bread was missing and the popadom was smashed to a crisp! Poor.

Food fine,however the staff forgot about our starters. In fact the main course was ready before the starter.

After coming to this restaurant for 2 years would never go anywhere else love the food you can imagine my disappointment when for my son’s birthday we went were welcomed by the waiter on entering at 1.15 pm and turned away at the top of the stairs by an unapologetic waiter after travelling 15 miles as he couldn’t supply our meal in 45 mins went 100 yards down the road to another restaurant advertising 12 till 2 and were welcomed won’t be back very disappointed not even for takeout

If you want some chatter with the server and owner you can get that with this restaurant. The restaurant was visibly appealing and unique and plays it's heritage very well. The food was tasted deliciously. I order the chicken tikka shashlik. Alot of onion!

We ordered some food last night at 18:30 through dunfermline eats. The order said that it would be delivered by 19:25. I waited till about 19:40 and called the take away and the person on the phone said the delievery driver left 15 mins ago. The food never got here till 21:00, it was 1 hr and 45 mins late for delievery. We were starving by this point. No discount or anything was given to us either. Will never order from here again, absolutley ridiculous.

I feel like I never knew what Indian food tasted like until I ate here. Genuinely the best Indian I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy.

Very pleasant ambience for a family gathering. Especially, the centre party table with a virtual sky screen was a great feature. The food was delicious and really enjoyed the desserts too. The staff was very friendly and supportive, with my little toddler running around the place, they kept their professionalism and handled it very politely. I highly recommend this place for a nice family dinner or even a large gathering or party functions. Thanks for the great time.

Went early at lunch and restart was very quiet but food outweighed the quiet environment. Staff really look after you and ensure you are happy. Great meal again

Apricot is possibly the best Indian restaurant in Dunfermline, a good atmosphere in a well decorated restaurant.

Terrible, they sent the wrong order when called to fix it, they would not entertain the fact they sent the wrong order they then hung up on me. Very rude, disgusting service and would not listen. I even had the digital receipt exactly stating what had been ordered, they refused to believe it and blocked me. Ended up having to throw the food out due to health and allergen concerns. I would not eat or order from here if you have health concerns.

Traditional Indian restaurant - very good! Various updated versions of Indian restaurants are popping, but Apricot isn't one of those. Apricot is a traditional Indian restaurant - decor as to be expected, every variation of every type of curry on the menu, etc.... but the food is excellent! Probably one of the best naan breads I have had - really! Excellent service, good value, look forward to coming back.

Apricot is our regular favourite restaurant which never let's us down at every visit the food is excellent and the flavours and spices are amazing.

We've been a couple of times lately and had great food, we order a starter each and a main with rice and nan bread which is plenty for us, which leaves room for another drink. Staff are always pleasant and helpful

Moderate selection of dishes, had to ask for naan bread to be put out. This applies to the buffet. Dry starters. Curries are tasty and a slight twist on the norm, worth trying.

I came here on Sunday with family for buffet lunch. We had some good experience here in our last visit few months back which prompted us to visit again. This was a completely different experience and would have gone to mark it negative if had an option. To begin with while we entered one of the staff escorted us to the table with no mask on. The restaurant already had a large group which was seated just ahead of the buffet, making it difficult for others to reach buffet.our table was set incomplete as it's missing covers for 2 dinners. We waited for long for someone to attend but the restaurant had only two servers finding it difficult to meet ends. Finally after waiting for a while we decided to walk to one of them and informed we prefer buffet. Food was below standard most of the gravey tastes same. Breads were cold and chewy. Desserts section was empty for long and servers had no time to replenish even after reminders. It was terrible and waste of time & money. Never to visit again.

Het eten is er heerlijk! Bediening is ook goed. Veel lekkerder dan Chinees eten.

For quite a while now, not any where near as good as Apricot used to be. And the salt content in the curry sauce that comes with tandoori dishes is shocking, as well as texture and flavour... Bring back the old Apricot please, we miss it. Edit to this post. For the past wee while we have still ordered and Apricot, it's very much starting to taste again Dunfermline's best....1 small hint for chef , still a little too much salt In curry sauce, but tandoori chicken tikka tonight excellent, lamb chops excellent, nan bread excellent, overall, very good Apricot 👍

Our return to cautious eating out did not disappoint, super clean with friendly staff and the South Indian Garlic Chili Chicken is just the best. Nice to see the return of the buffet, good work guys, highly recommended.

Food is always excellent but toilets are a disgrace . The last four time we’ve been the gents toilets have been swimming in pish . Now made us question their hygiene if this simple issue can’t be addressed .
