Excellent food and service. Atmosphere: busy which made the bar area a little too loud sometimes. Nice traditional local pub and ambience. Good value for money.

Always a good time at the Kinleith. It's our go to for a drink and some bar snacks. We've not had food yet but definitely will soon, it always looks so good!

Dropped in on way to Edinburgh staff very pleasant and friendly, meal was piping hot very homely and tasty the price very reasonable. Third visit from ayrshire and will definitely call in again.

Every time I step inside the place it always feels cosy and welcoming. The service is professional and yet very friendly. We got stake pie with mash and fish and chips both where tremendous we will definitely be back

We popped in for a meal after returning from holiday. As usual, the pub was warm and welcoming. Our order was taken and our drinks and food were delivered promptly. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The soup cold. Got onions although we said several times no onions.

Has a good gluten-free menu, hopefully they will increase the choices on that menu as time goes on 🍻😁

Second time here. Easter Sunday. Took a while to get our food (1 hour but understandable). Looking forward to visit 3.

Usually good food but not this time, we had fish and chips and a couple of drinks, on getting home my wife was ill followed by me, very upset stomach both off us, very disappointed by this as we regularly go there when out walking, standard of meal we'll below average.

Good drinks and really good, my girlfriend couldn’t eat everything and was kind enough to give a takeaway box, would want to go back

Normally I like this pub, the atmosphere is good, staff friendly and grub very acceptable. However, I moved to a table for 10 mins that had been free for at least 15mins before I sat there, total 25mins. Then a staff member said I couldn't sit there and put down reserved sign. I commented that pubs normally put "reserved from" signs on tables if booked to warn customers. He said in a rather grupy manner that it was Friday and "busy". I repeated my comment and got the same response. A simple sorry, but we didn't manage to put our sign out, and an apologetic smile would have made all the difference. Shame, the rest of the staff are REALLY friendly.

Lovely wee local place with friendly staff and dogs are allowed

I used to love this place, but I feel it lost it soul. Took my folks up for a meal, and it wasn't the best. My mum liked the chicken soup, but she could tell it was microwaved as it was roasting hot on one side and lukewarm on the other. My dad's Hunters Chicken was tough as old boots, and my cheese burger was so spicy! I left half of it. But, the chips were good, but I had to chase staff for a drink. New years Day was a blast! Always is.

Great food and service in a friendly atmosphere

Lovely pub country pub near a walking path and river that's a converted train station. The pub displays lots of old memorabilia from it originally being a train station including original signs and a map of the river route. The toilets are clean and staff are friendly. A smaller but cosy pub with a warm atmosphere, I'd recommend to anyone on a relaxing walk around town.

First time in a few week. I'm a regular customer. Went with partner today. Food as went down hill dramatically. Ordered mac and cheese. Cheese was cheap rubbish also a burger was ordered. The bun was very dry also used to get real chunky chips but now skinny frys and full of oil in them Paid the bill. Spoke to the waiter he agreed with me Took away the steak pie. Dirty frys and also the nachos :(((((( Good ingredients very poor!!!! This was my favourite place. Not nice now for food Ross

A nice dog friendly bar / eaterie situated on the lanark road, friendly faces and friendly staff parking nearby and even better after walking your dogs along nearby River ways you can pop in with your pets and enjoy a meal and a light refreshment or two

Great place for food and drink around average cost wise £12 per head or not far off it get it booked for nighttime as it gets busy around 4.30

Great front of house service today by Aidan. Steak pie and macaroni were delicious. Sticky toffee pudding and raspberry and white chocolate cheese cake were also delicious, would highly recommend. 😋

A simple menu but very well executed. I had a warm salmon salad and it was excellent. I liked the decor and the staff were friendly. The quiz on a Thursday was good (not too serious but challenging for me) and the quiz master was friendly and knowledgeable.

Fairly basic pub in many ways but the food was beautifully cooked and we had the home made chicken and leek pies which were delicious and very full of chunky chicken and leeks
