The big belter is a next level eggs benny - poached eggs, hash browns, smashed avocado, bacon, and hollandaise on a bed of sourdough. Cutting into the poached eggs reveal a golden glistening gooey yolk river, a thing of beauty. The blueberry oat milk matcha was refreshing with a good balance of flavours. A great place with great staff and service.

Thank you so much for such a lovely meal and accommodating a family of 13 for our last evening of holiday in Largs. I think we all ordered something different from your menu and none of us were disappointed. Quite the opposite! Lovely setting, great atmosphere and service, and exceptional food. Compliments to your chef and the whole team. Thank you.

I spent 2 nights at the Sands while on the island for work. The staff were super friendly, helpful with any thing I needed and the food was amazing (I’m just finishing off a stair pie that is just the hearty food I need after a long day of photography) Would recommend and will definitely come again if I’m lucky enough to return to this beautiful location.

This Bistro is as good as it gets, there again last Saturday evening with friends and had an excellent dinner. Great starters of scallops & soup, lobster mains and one other main which escapes me, oh and managed a sweet, fabulous. A few drinks including a couple of bottles of wine, very. The sad news is, we were told it was closing permanently the following evening Sunday and it has, due to lack of business which is a terrible shame. We travelled all the way up from Laurencekirk picking up friends en-route as we have done in the past. It a shame an establishment like this have closed.

A friend and I visited this lovel establishment, mainly for tea and coffee. Since the appetite desired it, could not resist and ordered the very classic scottish breakfast platter. The portion was satisfying, with a simple yet harmonius presentation and the taste was just right. The staff were absolutely great, did service with a smile and checked on our table a couple of times to make sure everything is okay. If you are in the area, definitely check this place out. ^_ ^ <3

First time at Kim’s bulgogi and my friends and I were instantly greeted by the friendly front staff. After ordering, the food all came quickly, but the food was still all very high quality!! The soy dakgangjang was crispy and the meat was succulent, topped with mouthwatering sweet soy sauce, and the bibimbap came in a filling portion with plenty of sauce to go with it. Overall, very good experience, would definitely come again!

I sat in front of the open cuisine able to see the Chef and how wonders happen. This already put me in the vibrant and creative atmosphere. Service is professionnal, warm and caring. The revisited Haggis was succulent. A must place to eat and drink with the best of Scotland’s

We stayed for one night. The room was nice as the hotelis pretty new but what a noisy place. Hardly got any sleep due to a constant drone noise. The breakfast as well was very disappointing. Hardly anything left in the hot buffet and not very quick at all in replenishing the servers. Considering you are charged £15pp for breakfast this is one of the poorest I have experienced. The other gripe is that parking spaces are a premium. It does not appear that the hotel really care. there were cars taking up two spaces, no management of the area, if you are lucky enough to get a space they charge you £15 for the privilege. We got parked round the corner for free so a result on that one. the ony positive for the hotel is its really close location to the P &J arena. That being said you would be better going for a travel inn, premier inn etc and booking taxis to and from the Arena, it would still work out a lot cheaper and you would get better rested and better fed at breakfast time. Overall very very dissapointed with hotel, for £170 for one night it was terrible.

We booked a table for 3 we didn’t expect it to be so busy however that did not impact on our service nor the amazing quality off our food. It was wonderful the staff are so helpful and friendly the atmosphere is lively and friendly. The perfect girls night out with friends.
