Byron Bakery in Aberdeen City

It used to be the best baker in Aberdeen, but things have went downhill. Hard to get rolls(rowies) after 10 in the morning as so much of them are sent to other places to sell. I used to buy a dozen at a time and put them into the freezer along with the softies. Very handy for someone popping in for a cuppa. It's the people of Northfield who are loosing out. Some lovely staff and but some are more interested at getting a cuppa or a chat to workmates.

A staple growing up and a staple now, the pies aren't as good as they were but perhaps nostalgia playing a part. Get the Caramac Cake.

Used to be good but went downhill since it was sold .Hardly ever visit now

It's a baker of quality the steak pies are fantastic chicken pies are quite full the bread is great and aberdeen rolls are crispy

Always loved this Baker but when you ask for 6 crispy rolls and get 6 half cooked ones it's a joke considering the guy in front got crispy rolls from a different place so will be giving it a wide birth for a while

Been twice now, do not understand the fuss. Poor choice and everything is overdone from the pies to the rowies. Will not go back, burnt offerings are not my bag.

The staff here are outstanding welcoming and very easy to approach was up here working in the area and they were brilliant the food is 5* quality and it isn't too pricey either! Lush!

This is a great local bakery. They have a wide selection of sweet and savoury delights. Quality of the product is excellent and portions are generous. Staff all very friendly and happy to talk you through the selection.

I would just like to thank all the staff at Byron bakery , as went in past at 04.10am this morning to pick up my order of forty butteries and ended up buying another eight making 4 dozen in total . The staff were all working extremely busy and I could see piles of orders all made up for customers to collect. The butteries are affa affa fine and the best in the north east of Scotland. I’m sure my relatives down in Lincoln will enjoy them every bit as much as I do keep up the good work and hope you have a great Christmas and New Year .

The best baker in Aberdeen by a country mile. The hot pies used to be warm but since refurb roasting hot as they should be. There is no other baker in Aberdeen that sells as much quality as the Byron. Pastries, pies, rolls, sandwiches, breakfast rolls. Opens at 10pm on a Friday night so great pit stop in between Friday night pints 👍🏻

Busy shop well staffed with excellent goods I stock up with butteries and soft rolls for my freezer The owners are very friendly and do s lot for local charities I travel 18 miles to get my bakery goods

I am on a mission to try every product sold here. Pies, sausage rolls, cakes, pastries are all extremely tasty and generously filled. The meat used makes all the difference. Such a pleasant surprise. The custard doughnuts are filled to the brim, the caramac slice is amazing. And so reasonably priced! Well worth the trip out of town.

Personally think they have the finest rowies around. Especially when you buy the in the mornings do they are still warm. Well worth the drive from outside town to get them.

Not sure what I can say about a Bakery except the meringues were exceptional. it was clean and the staff were very nice.

Order a birthday cake from here for a 18th party. Great, fast easy ordering process. Would recommend and an overall great baker. Good opening hours aswell.
