On a very wet and very windy day we decided to go for lunch at our favourite cafe, The Cafe Ceardach. This community owned gem of a place is always warm and welcoming. Fabulous food, Fabulous place and most of all, a Fabulous Team of girls who make this place the joy it is.
My afternoon tea was the best I’ve ever had. Varied, freshly baked and beautifully presented. I have intolerances and my savoury plate, scones and cakes were just as good as everyone else’s. Topped up with endless teas and coffees. This really was a treat,
Lovely little coffee shop that serves really delicious morning breakfast rolls. We’ve popped in a couple of times and always found that rolls to be fresh & tasty - plus it’s superb value! You can easily get two 3 filling rolls for under a £10 - not many places in Edinburgh will do that! Highly recommend

This was a small takeout only place. The pizza was good although they were not very accommodating for people with food allergies. I asked for a meat lovers pizza with no cheese on half and was told "we don't do that". They could make it with vegan or non dairy cheese (for $1 upcharge) but they could leave the cheese off? It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, good food and quick take out service.
La mejor sopa de lentejas que he probado, y la focaccia está deliciosa. Todavía no he probado los cuencos, pero vienen muy recomendables, así que sin duda volveré!
El personal era una delicia, también.
All around excellent - friendly service, great food & cocktails.
We didn’t have a reservation but got a nice window table. Negroni menu is yum! Our party of 3 each had different food options (chicken, steak, sea bass) and all were amazing. We had to try the sticky toffee pudding which was really good despite being full.

Lagoff is a great addition to the Granton waterfront.
We have popped in for coffees, breakfast rolls, lunch and dog treats and all have been great.
The guys are really friendly and they even have some seats alongside with views over the Forth.
Not obvious from the road, but if you head from Gypsy Brae or Brick Beach you can't miss it.
Support the only independent coffee shop on Princess Street and get value and quality.A little stall for coffee, hot chocolate or pastries. Very friendly staff and barista who knows how to make a good coffee. Intend to re-visit for brunch next time I'm in Edinburgh.
Ordered online via Scoffable for my daughter and I.
I ordered the Chicken Cheese Bacon & Hash Brown Burger. Omg this was amazing! The burger was sooo tasty and the chips were fab too!
The estimated time was 1hr, but came in 20mins. I was caught short and forgot to tip my driver - apologies!
Its a shame your own order website appears down and having to use Scoffable instead.
Great local cafe. Thanks again.
