Jax Snax in Inverclyde

I had been recommended this place ,,about 11 years ago......FINALLY got round to trying it after far too long. Ordered the 'Dragons fire' Welsh Chicken and Shrimp Curry,and can honestly say it's one of,if not THE best I've ever eaten (I've had a lot!). Definitely on the spicier side,but I was warned,but for me,it was perfect. My work buddy got the brisket fries and also agreed,they were superb. Absolutely delicious food,wish I had a bigger stomach to try more,but I'll be making plenty more trips to here.....it definitely lives up to the hype! 🏆

We come here every time we are home in Glasgow. It's a straight road on the motorway and never been let down. The only place in Scotland where we can get "Dubai standard" food. The menu is not only unique but tasty and enjoyable.

Jax snax has been a go to for me for a few years now, they do amazing fresh food and never fails to disappoint, amazing couple doing great things in the food game i wish there was more like this , the shrimp and squid tacos are usually my favourite but recently exploring other its has been great such as the Korean style shrimp gyozas or the birria style taco they have all slapped but the king for me is south Louisiana chicken and shrimp po boy this is 12/10 and my fave! This food truck attracts fans from all over Scotland - and rightly so. The dishes on offer are inspired by the owners' travels - Korea to South Africa, Goa to Mexico, Thailand to Louisiana. Even the humble burgers are hand-made to order from top ingredients - but there is much more on the menu than burgers. The daily specials depend on the seasons and what the fishing boats bring home. Check their socials for opening days (normally Thurs-Sun) and get there earlier. They tend to sell out by mid afternoon. I have visited 5 or 6 times now and I've never been disappointed.

I have been told about this place for a long time. Wish I had listened earlier. Can't praise the food enough. Nice people too.

Absolutely fantastic possibly the best takeaway meal I was ever served. The effort and quality seemed outstanding. Crispy chicken and shrimp cooked perfectly. I could see him hand mixing burgers to order you would not see that in a fine dining restaurant. I can’t wait to go back. Heard good things but was blown away by quality service and price.

Incredible!!!!!! Visited here on our way back from Dunoon and it was one of my favourite lunches…… EVER!!!! The shrimp tacos and the brisket loaded fries…… wow!!!!

I love street food and these type of food trucks in general, however I have frequented here a few times, trying their curry, burgers and hotdogs. The food is sensational and the prices are very reasonable. The hotdogs are probably my favourite meal however and topped with onions and ketchup, by far the quickest and best option locally for food.

My fiancé and I visited this fabulous food truck well what can i say its amazing! The choice of food is fab all with a definite New Orleans flavour. The lamb is hands down the best i have ever tasted. I wish they would open a restaurant I would be their no1 customer. Highly recommend!

Had a burger and chips today and it was absolutely tremendous. Everything from the roll to the bacon was tasty tasty. Ive went out my way to write this review as the people must know about their dyno grub😊. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. Good job Jax Snax👍👍

Was desperate to try having read previous reviews- did not disappoint- fantastic- restaurant level menu and meals- i had chicken and shrimp po boy - it was outstanding - my other family members were drooling over there dishes too- Katsu curray burger and chicken and shrimp tacos! Definitely will be back ! New fav place to get food

You will never be disappointed with Jax Snax. There are plenty of options to chose from, regardless of your preferences. Every item is freshly cooked so definitely worth the wait if it is busy If you are looking for fast, unimpressive and sub standard food then go to McDonalds as the quality of food here is exceptional and far superior to any fast food outlet. Trying the 'Street food' at Jax Snax is a must!!

Our family are regular visitors to Gary and Jackie. The food is always excellent, freshly prepared from quality ingredients and so so tasty. They are a lovely couple who are passionate about healthy, quality, delicious food and they never fail to please. Cannot recommend enough. Please be ready to wait. This is NOT fast food, but fresh fabulous food.

Top quality food truck. Lovely, freshly cooked food served by lovely people. Seems popular with the locals and it’s easy to see why.

Much more than a burger van , the menu was fab and I was not disappointed.. I had stopped for a coffee and we got talking about the food he served which is all prepared fresh and they let my daughter who was with me try a spoonful of katsu curry , she was hooked so 2 coiffee’ s a katsu curry and Goan fish later we were off. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed out take aways.. well worth a visit when you can.. 😄

WOW!! Highly recommend...First time trying this place. Had their own burger. Awesome!!! is all I can say. Gonna come back each week and work my way through the menu.
