Amazing food at excellent prices!

Well what can I say about 134 steakhouse absolutely 1st class staff food service and atmosphere are amazing staff will do everything they can to help you nothing is any problem to them and will accommodate you if they are able to always look forward to visiting 134 steakhouse

Been here a few times now with family had ribeye med rare upgraded to surf which was four prawns on top of my steak,but must admit was worth the wait as was cooked spot on was nicely seasoned and tender my wife had one the steak sandwich options and really enjoyed hers as well and for a steak house restaurant found the prices to be very reasonable every one else in our table of 17 seemed to enjoy the food only criticism was the long wait for the food

One of the best steak house restaurants I've been to. Steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly! Staffs here are courteous too.

Food is amazing and service first class.. never had to move, the staff were really nice and quick with drinks 🍸 and the meal was delicious... highly recommend it, if your in greenock

134 steak house was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. We booked for 17 people, seated upstairs. The food was delicious, very large portions. The staff are amazing and make it a lovely dining experience. Taking orders for 17 people was difficult and we had few hiccups but the staff were straight on it to amend the errors. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely meal and the service was excellent.

Food was quite nice but neither dish we had was really what we expected. Bit too much going on on the plate. Ordered a Cajun chicken salad which was actually more like chicken fajita mix with onions and peppers on top of salad and amongst it there were also strawberries which just didn’t go. The other dish was a steak sandwich which was also like a steak fajita sandwich. Maybe the menu just needs to be clearer. Decent prices and good portions. Not much atmosphere and not sure we would go back.

Left before dinning, not sure who's giving out ratings here but not the place to dress up for on a Saturday night. Dyer.....

Very busy on Saturday but service was spot on Biggest plate of soup I've ever had in any restaurant and was delicious The main I ordered was chicken noodles but was way too spicy for me so I'd choose something else next time and my family were happy with their choices

Can't fault the food in this place but the surroundings are diabolical. We were put in a small back room where the walls were filthy full of blue tack and torn wallpaper. The light above had around 6 bulbs and only one was working. Very dark and dingy. The owners really need to get their act together and get that place an overhaul! Would return for the food but not the venue itself. Toilets were equally awful 😖

What's not to like in this restaurant? My self and my daughter and two grandaughter s had a lovely meal on Friday 1 st of September! My daughter n one grandaughter had steak sandwich other grandaughter had enchilada and I had a baked potato with roasted veg ! To die for ! Some cans of juice 6 to be exact lol and two alcoholic drinks and iced water for me the bill was just under £ 60 ! I think that's good for all of that ! Thank you I will be back for a baked tottie and roasted veg again ! Amazing service as well !

Outstanding quality, quantity and value. Excellent staff. The interiors are charming, and the building is ideally located in one of the nicest parts of Greenock.

I got the chicken curry and GOD IT WAS GOOD. And i was able to get am ice cream after that. Atmosphere was elegant. service was good! stan loona

Usually a great meal here but not tonight. Soup was returned to be heated as it was cold. I love the steak sandwich but whatever dressing they has on salad was vile and this spoiled the meal a bit for me. Rest of the meals were good.Toilets were in poor condition, 2 out of order, my friend said the toilet seat fell of when she sat on it, mine was a big skid mark left behind by previous person. Blue paper towels all over floor and sinks. Will be a while before we go back.

Absolutely terrible food the last time I was there, but to be fair I've been and it's been better. Stay took their time and looked as if the didn't know what they were supposed to be doing at times.

I ordered quite a few different items and everything was absolutely mouthwatering. Define try the Aztec chips as they were my favourite. Staff was amazing as well and so friendly

Table booked 7.30. Ordered about 7.50 at 8.30 went down stairs to go for a smoke and enquired about our food. Food finally arrived about 8.45. If they put you on a table upstairs good luck as we were completely forgotten about. Food is fab need to really work on service.

I had the for starters it was debatable between lentil soup or ‘kickin’ chicken’ but thought I’d go for this chicken for a change, this was delicious and comes with bbq sauce, for main dish I had luxury steak sandwich- they had more than one type of steak sandwiches I was wondering which one!? Lol i think all steak sandwiches comes with garlic ciabatta’s. Although this meal was great 👌 it became a little bloating with the ciabattas and the coleslaw too. I then got a dessert with sticky toffee pudding and 2 scoops of ice cream. After eating all this I was SO stuffed, it hurt to even laugh lol. I think next time I’ll go here, maybe skip a meal or something. Every table comes with a little buzzer too for you to call a waitress, to pay, to order etc. Saves you hanging about! But I’d definitely go back! Total bill for both of us came to about £88 and that’s including some drinks too.

Great place to take the family for a wee meal. Staff are always so nice. Food is always great.

Disappointed on my visit here. Booked table for 7pm orders taken straight away. At 8.20pm still no food. No excuse as place wasn't even busy. Eventually when it did arrive was ok but nothing special. 8 of us at table and most of our chairs were wonky and legs were loose. Tables sticky and not very clean, menus dirty and sticky. Toilets dirty and more chairs stored in there. Place needs upgraded and a good clean. Only plus was staff were attentive and friendly. Wouldn't go back.

Wouldn't expect frozen fish in a restaurant, was like a bit of cardboard .basically breadcrumb deep fried no fish present . Was my first time here , disappointing.who ever buys the supplies /ingredients should have a hard look at themselves. How hard is it to breadcrumb a fillet of haddock?, fresh fish actually cooks quicker than frozen . A frozen fish in a restaurant , still can't wrap my head round it chicken curry also looked like frozen chicken pieces all the same size and depth cubes.heard someone say best chips in greenock 😳, just a cheap frozen chip not even crispy like a plate of slugs . Spoiled the whole meal for my family , we eat out a lot in greenock, I've had some lovely food , and some bad food , but this is up there with the worst bit of fish I've ever had. Only saving grace is your staff , who are efficient, and welcoming , 5stars for them ,zero stars for your produce which could have easily came from farm foods ,58quid spent , and not one clean plate from 5 people. Tells you everything you need to know about your produce and ingredients , my 14year old girl could cook a better meal , pull your socks up steak house

Fast and pleasant service and experience

Decided to give a try after a recommendation from a work colleague. I can only say I'm glad I listened to her. Ordered sharing platter for a starter which consisted of potato boats, buffalo chicken, onion rings and salad, which was lovely. Ordered for our main course sirloin steak with all the trimmings and chicken fajitas, the meals were well presented and plentiful. We were both stuffed and couldn't even have dessert! Staff very attentive and pleasant. This is a must for fine cuisine and very reasonably priced.

The food was good, the music was great (80's rock - my childhood playlist), the service was great The price was even better, we were amazed at the quality of the food for the price we payed

I overheard someone saying "they huv the best chips in eh toon". And I have to agree, they are decent. Great location for a quick bite and our server, Joanne, was excellent. I don't know how much she earns but it's not enough 😊

The sizzle chill was not sizzling. Which is why i ordered and chicken was like frozen cheap sliced. Husbands meal was poor. Not hot enough. Wint be back.. Waitress was un ntersted when we complained. Same because it used ti be much better quality. Table was also sticky.

My sister and I both ordered chilli chicken sizzle as I had this before and had recommended it when it was served i couldn't believe it. It was chicken in a lot of red sauce on a very cool skillet not a sizzle in sight it wasn't even hot. When I said that is not what I ordered the waitress said "they had upgraded the smoke alarms and couldn't do the sizzle now" never heard of that before. Why then was it on the menu. She took both non sizzling plates away and brought them back a few minutes later after the chicken in sauce had been pinged in the microwave. The chicken was very poor quality and dried up. We ate it because we were hungry and didn't have time to wait for something else. The place is dirty and needs properly cleaned the floor is so greasy and the toilets are disgusting. Won't be back.

Homely and friendly atmosphere when we arrived at 7 for dinner and when seated our drinks and meal order was taken. Within minutes our starters arrived and our cheerful and informed server instructed us on the remote call system on the table and we set to our meal. Starters were sublime and once cleared away our steaks arrived, all well seasoned and perfectly cooked to our taste, not easy when our order was1 rare, 2 medium and 1 well done. Both the fillets and ribeyes were enormous and the portions are fantastic with true flair for presentation and the caramelised onion added to the meats sear gave a really tasty result. The coleslaw is not to be missed. Probably the tastiest steaks we've had this year and are already looking forward to our next family meal out for more friendly service, excellent food that's keenly priced in all respects in comfortable unhurried surroundings. All current covid restrictions were observed during our stay so it's 5 stars from me and a certain return guaranteed.

First time here and loved it, staff really look after you, the meals are freshly cooked and well presented, the portion sizes are big so you get a good size meal for a small price, I will definitely go back here when I’m back over the water as there are dishes on the menu that I want to try, if you like curries, try the coconut curry as it’s outstanding

Best food especially the coleslaw

Love this restaurant. Had soup, lentil, huge bowl and it was delicious with 2 slice of bread. Steak sandwich next very nice but didn't like the salad, full of rocket which I didn't enjoy. Not as good as previous visits but still a lovely meal. Left with a happy tummy.

We dined here and had a lovely lunch we had staff be extremely kind and were always smiling throughout. We also had a wonderful meal tasted really good and perfect for a formal meal with friends and family! Will happily be back soon!

Best restaurant in greenock highly recommend for their steaKs i also had a Night for daughters 40th on 5th of march and the staff were outstanding never had to wait on meals or drinks and there were 40 0f us plus other customers x keep up the good work guys you are some team xx

Nice place to eat, portion sizes are great. Had steak, which was spoiled by onion and mushrooms which had a really sweet taste, Should be separate on plate. Coleslaw didnt taste to nice.

Portion sizes are really good service is good food is good its not exactly Michelin star but descent enough. Felt possibly overcharged but wasn't disappointed with my Enchilada.

Tried again with the hope that I have just been reeeeeally unlucky in previous 2 visits. Reading good reviews about this place just baffles me! Went with family for a birthday meal, not sure where to start. Our servers attitude stank! I had called ahead to ask if I could come early to decorate and was told no probs. However, once everyone was seated our waitress came in and had a proper go at me for putting table confetti on as they’ve broken soo many Hoover’s. It was embarrassing in front of my family to be ticked off like a child! After telling me off she snapped “well, it’s far too late now since you’ve already went and done it!” It’s a pretty common table decoration so maybe point it out to customers before giving permission to decorate. She was so brash, rough and intimidating, there were other younger girls that were lovely but our main server had everyone sharing wary glances across the table whenever she snapped an answer to a question. The food? Every meal is covered in jarred sickly sauces. I don’t think there is a single fresh item on the menu! My peppered steak was a gloopy brown tasteless mess, my sons “rare” steak was well done, his prawn starter vile. My sisters curry sauce tasted strangely like my pepper sauce. The place was freezing, toilets filthy and behind the door of the room we were in was a shopping bag filled with what I can only assume were a staff members belongings, including a manky hair brush and sanitary products. The whole experience lacks any care from the second you walk through the door.

Very generous portions at affordable prices. The service is great and the servers are extremely helpful and friendly. The 80s music could be switched up with a new playlist or two 😀 Otherwise always a nice wee cozy place for a family meal. Enjoy!

Happy 21st young yin. Had a nice meal was relaxing very inviting. Was there for birthday celebration was great service and food was great. Function room was separate from main restaurant. Recommend you go try it out. Will go back 🌈
