Beautifully located restaurant run by two amazing ladies, was visiting no 19 with my Boss and we tried lunch menu finished by delicious flat white. Everything was fresh and to die for, I also bought two cakes for my boys and they were also impressed with quality and size of tray bakes. Highly recommended.

Lovely local cafe on the Black Isle. Always a warm welcome. Excellent coffees and baking to die for. The biggest problem is deciding which cake to go for. Scones are enormous 😋 and always fresh. They do good soups and there’s always information about ingredients and allergens. I can also recommend the breakfast. Although it’s a small place to sit inside, they have some seating outside. Take aways are popular. They welcome well behaved dogs. Definitely recommended.

My dog Angus and I are regulars here for a breakfast roll. Both of us are made very welcome and Angus got some carrot the other day because I had forgotten to bring it for him. Lovely coffee and great staff!

Visited with a friend for lunch. Interior very tastefully decorated, very welcoming and homely. Lovely to see that dogs are welcome. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice to be able to order half a sandwich so that I had room for the home baking which was divine, malteser tiffin! Coffee was lovely too. Portions excellent and very reasonably priced. A fantastic little cafe in a beautiful village.

This dog friendly cafe, with great coffee and excellent breakfast rolls. It is a little gem in the Black Isle and we are becoming regulars. My dog loves it and sits quietly waiting for a piece of sausage from me. I have only been in for breakfast and cannot comment on other meals. They seem to have great baking which comes from a local supplier.

The cafe was quiet when me and friends went there, the workers were lovely and even had small chats. I wasn’t a fan of the milkshake I got, but that’s just my food taste, so I’m happy to give this place a full rating for the great selection of food and drink there (and the great employees :))

We had coffee and cakes this morning. Husband also had a bacon roll. Lovely selection of delicious home made cakes. Coffee in a large cup, which was hot ! I am very fussy when it comes to coffee, as I get annoyed if I ever get a warm coffee. Very pleasant staff. We really loved the fact that most of the Menu is home made on the premises. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on way back from beach for a coffee to takeaway Service was fantastic and we couldn’t resist the vegan cookies The coffee was some of the best we’ve tasted - and we’re very particular! Definitely returning next time in the area

It was lovely to see this cafe providing a meeting place in Avoch and it was busy when we visited yesterday. But unfortunately the food we had was grim. Given we ordered very simple food for lunch, it was difficult to understand how it could be so poor. My friend and I had Cream of Mushroom soup which had the consistency of water, was tasteless and tepid. I had a half tuna mayo sandwich to accompany the soup. It’s hard to make a tuna sandwich disappointing but this was. It was from a very small loaf for a start and was presented without any embellishment. The scone my friend had was stale and inedible. We did not finish our soup or scone and left to find lunch elsewhere. £ 13 not well spent!

No 19 is a small family run cafe on the main road in Avoch going towards Fortrose. Lovely menu selection (with carbcount values) Home made red pepper soup, and breakfast pie were the specials when we were there. Sandwiches were freshly made including a lovely side salad. All very reasonably priced. The scones and other home baked looked amazing (next time) They even sell cupcakes for dogs - so your pooch also receives a friendly welcome. Another reason, should you need one, to visit the lovely village of Avoch.

It's great to have a friendly wee café within easy reach of home, especially with the Fortrose café being closed. Avoch always did have awesome bakers - tried a brie and cranberry scone and it was lovely! I will be recommending you to all my AirBnB guests. 👏👏👏

This place was one of our favourite holiday ‘finds’ after meandering along the long, beautiful road from Glenelg, not knowing what was at the end (our favourite past time). That was 8 years ago and we discovered the best home-made salmon quiche I’ve ever tasted set in tiny area of eclectic seating with the local fauna sitting at your feet, all set with a stunning backdrop. Everything about it felt home-made in its genuine sense- like a reward for travellers rather than a cafe. We felt we’d found the world’s best kept secret.. So we returned. All just as beautiful and the food just as delicious, just with a place to sit inside if the clouds let go. So glad Sheena’s is going strong.

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
