This establishment is no longer part of the Bridies chain, visited here on Friday the 6 th of December, won’t be back , the food was just ok, no flavour of the chips and the fish was frozen, the chippy cost £27 and a lot went into the bin, to much good chippies in Derry, as competition need to up your game
Ordered a fish supper, scampi and small chip and 2 portions of onion rings. Didn’t get the onion rings just got 2 extra small chips, the chips were tasteless and floury, the scampi was meh, and the fish was inedible, honestly not being dramatic it was vile no flavour to the fish and tasted watery and so tiny too, not even my dog would eat it. For spending over £30 so gross
Review for new Starbucks on Donegall square aross the street from the city hall.
I had bought an coffee around 2pm went on a bustour and returned for an toilet visit which was refused said it was only for customers same girl was on shift an hour earlier who gave me the coffee. At the time of 3.15pm both ladies refused me the toilet and a coffee. Never happened to me in any other starbucks across the globe. Very tourist unfriendly. They seem unsuitable for the position...

This is the second time in a matter of weeks that my order which I collected was wrong. Even the receipt showed the correct order. Staff getting sloppy
Service wasn't great. Whatever happened to service with a smile.
Atmosphere was horrible it was like walking into a knitting club so quiet
Also my partner asked for cookies to be warmed up (which any other subway does)
But he was told NO they aren't allowed to do it for safety reasons, yes I get safety reasons but why has any other subway doesn't have an issue doing it.
The guy serving just didn't seem to want to do it he looked like he couldn't care less
Hadn't used one of these before as I thought it was a little too much california coffee shop but was very pleased to be able to get a good quality fry. It was the last item on the menu on the flashy screen on the wall and I felt a bit under pressure deciding what I would have in the queue at the till. Still It was very good, very well presented and I was able to swap the beans and black pudding for other items which is great. More room inside than I had thought and I would definitely be back.
Worst place I have ever eaten in. Might be a 4* hotel but it's a 1* for food and restaurant service. Let's start with the service. Huddled around the till chatting and we waited for ages before anyone came to take our starter order. Got the first drinks order wrong. The starter was blended vegetable soup. Burnt into an inch of its life I'd be surprised if they were able to salvage the pot it was that bad. Then the carvery. The roasties were pale and rock hard must have just been dipped In and out of the oil . The cauliflower cheese wasn't heated properly because it still had the curdled cheese sauce look the Yorkshire pudding were aunt bessis and cold ( nothing wrong with aunt Bessie's but you'd expect homemade in a 4* hotel.) After dinner we must have waited 20 to 25 mins for them to come clear the table. When they did we waited another 20 min for them to take our pudding order. And for a fact 3 other tables complained aswell as us. I swear I will never ever be back. Were normal working class people who expect good food and good service but we certainly didn't get it here. Then to top it all off when paying the bill we discovered they charged for the child's food when under 3 go free. So folks don't waste your money. Stay at home make your own sunday dinner as honestly it would be nicer. Sorry City Hotel you disappointed alot of people today.
