Arnold's in Belfast

ordered kebab on chip. Beautiful as ever. Arnolds really is the unsung hero of east Belfast. I would recommend them any time. Hot food, quick delivery, food is always great. *****

Didn’t receive my order. Not even a knock at the door.

paid for 2 extra piza toppings that where no on the pizza.

I asked for separate salad and sauce which didn’t happen. Hardly any chilli sauce. Not wrapped the same as usual so not very warm.

Nearly 2 hours delivery for a chicken burger meal and a milkshake, madness. Milkshake was the best part

Ordered food for myself and the wife she got a donner kabab on pitta didnt last long beautiful packed with donner and just the right amount of salad and sauce I got the new york chicken burger unreal so much flavour Also got chicken strips so tender and juicy Massive portions

I got no notification from them, which is what annoyed me, if I wasn’t just going up fhe stairs I might have missed delivery.Pizza was cold the moment I opened it and the ribs were slightly warm but when I pulled them out of the bag it leaked everywhere over some clothes, table cloth and then when I managed to get the paper off found the box was not opened and there was some paper stuck to the ribs.delivery girl said nothing when she delivered, no hi or bye.thank g for microwaving.

I ordered a half pound Hawaiin burger, but i only received one 1/4 1b burger !.

Chicken burger was awful bap was soggy and chicken was inedible as it was hard and grissly

The food was cold and the chips where not cooked properly and one of the burgers had a bone in it had to throw the food out

Foods cracking chips leave a bit to want with salt and vinegar the burgers are great same with the chicken and curry. PS guy that delivered it had a cracking hoodie

Food has gotten a lot better fresh chips nice and crunchy , pizza was unreal as was chicken burger , delivery driver is a gentle man deffo recommend

Arnolds used to be great, food was always brilliant and they opened late, i haven't been in ages and visited recently, sadly things have changed a lot. Its a bit run down and tired looking inside, (Just checking online now and the hygiene rating is only 3 stars). English didn't seem to be the first language of the two men working there so there was no conversation, its list a lot of its character, it used be quite lively with music playing and staff always good craic, very sombre now. Most importantly the food was terrible, the burgers used to be fantastic, now the burgers are greasy and cold, the chips are over cooked and measly portions. If you think cheap "chip van / market stall" type junk food you will be in the ballpark. Its a pity, it used to be a great spot but i won't be back, it's just terrible now.

possibly the best gravy chip inside the Knock carriageway. Kebab on pitta is good too. The staff are always great, the food is always good (and hot!) and the prices are very reasonable.

forgot the pizza, didn't even have to phone within 6 mins it was sent by another driver.

Food was early but was cold and the chicken burger I couldnt even bite as it was so overdone the chips were terrible looked like that had been re cooked multiple times. Won't be ordering again 😞

Great as usual only small thing got the hot kebab pizza the donor meat was put on in strips rather than cut into small bits but was still great just a little more messy

Battered sausages 10 out of 10, chicken burger 9 out of 10, curry chip 5 out of 10 , chips a bit burnt, food was early which was great, food was hot and tasty

I think the delivery time was down to traffic but other than that the food was warm and tasty

Very disappointing. Burnt and the wrong sauce came with it. Worse still was the customer service when I called the restaurant. Didn’t believe me when I said the food was burnt (see the photo) then told me to contact yoyo and they would refund. Yoyo called the restaurant today to follow up and they said the opposite. Real shame, been going here for years but won’t be back.

I ordered a cheesy curry chip and a chicken burger. i’ve had from arnold’s a few times and food has always been great but this time the chicken burger was hard, it was missing shoestring onions and the cheesy curry chips weren’t the usual portion and just weren’t the best. Again usually food is good but was disappointing tonight feel like a waste of money

Chicken wings were beyond overcooked and dry, forgot my dip also. Chips were okay. Milkshake was nice

food was very nice. only criticism is the kebab was very very greasy. to the point I had to dab it with kitchen towel before I could eat it to get the worst of it off. needed to drain for a little longer before being put in the bread

Couldn't fault this place. Staff all friendly.. food is tasty and prices are amazing! Traveled from newtownabbey to try it and would 100 percent do it again. Thanks again guys

Ordered a plain burger, came smothered in sauce and filled with onions. Great when you have a allergy to onions. Very disappointed with tonight's order.

chips were very poor all the left over bits not proper chips, curry sauce was watered down . not the same quality that I had gotten many time before.

cod was a bit greasy. pasties was nice.

I made a telephone delivery order,asked for the complete price including delivery…..”I’m sorry I can’t I’m really busy”..not what I’d hoped to hear.

So iv not been in this place in over 15yrs same name same flavour which is great but staff not happy no smiles just the look of i hate my job. It used to be the number one spot everyone went had good laugh. Now they have removed all but 3 tables needs tlc staff with a smile the place had it all back in the day the food hasn't changed still great but the place is a turn off lights are on but couldn't tell if it was open as inside looked like it was closed. It's a real shame to see they should look at the shops around it all packed it has a fantastic location great food just needs the life pumped back in. I really hope this place survives its been main part of the road for many years. Long before the rest.

Food arrived cold and unappetising

So Disappointed, with my recent Order from Arnolds, food was terrible, when I rang, I was told to let Justeat, deal with it, therefore I think a refund, would suffice.

Ordered a burger and gravy chip. Order came got the burger but just an ordinary chip no gravy. This is the 2nd time my order has not been right. Last time I called them and was made to feel it was my fault so didn’t bother ringing this time. Nearly £5.00 for a gravy chip and to just get chips not on. I would order a lot from Arnold’s but think I’ll order from somewhere else in future.

Stuffing was dreadful, bread on burger was to floury chips were 78% should’ve listened to Nancys reviews but here didn’t do too bad

Food late by 15 minutes but live out in Holywood so somewhat understand. Food was ok but rather bland, burger buns were the typical floury ones which weren’t great, barely tasted the bacon. Great cheesy chips on the other hand

They still do a great traditional flame grilled burger after all these years. Thankfully nothing smashed about it and not served in a Brioche bun.

Disappointed that there wasn't a couple of chips with the two sausages I ordered. Everywhere else throws in a few chips.

If I could give this company no stars I would. Myself and my friends placed an order 15 minutes before closing time and the attitude my friends and I received from the girl on the counter was horrendous. There was a full blown storm outside but as soon we received our food we were told we had to leave. We asked if we could sit inside for 5 minutes while we waited on taxis because of the storm but we were told we had to stand in the rain because they were closing. AVOID at all costs, these people do not deserve your money. On top of that food was incredibly greasy and less than mediocre!

Had to bin it and order a dominos instead. Very disappointed. The fish was mainly soggy batter and was tiny. No flavour to the burger despite the toppings and the chips had a weird flavour to them.

Paid cash I had to pay another 43p as no change ?

I didn’t receive it. Food only came by 23:30 and when the called I slept by then. After my shift it was so tired, I slept. It was very delayed ordered

accident was made on the address location and the delivery driver was insanely rude raising his voice and getting worked up over nothing, food quality was great but the service was off putting and displeasing

Burger came with no sauce which was too dry, kebab had no sauce so couldn't eat, no dip or drink with the kids meal. Waste of money

Delivered on time and was piping hot. Kebab meat is first class! Give it a try!
