Staff very unhelpful more interested in chatting for long periods of time ignoring customers. No attention to customers seated outside. Long wait for an outside table to be cleared. Horrified that the Food arrived and table was still not wiped down pointed this out to the staff member who then proceeded to place our food on another table of dirty dishes while in search of a cloth. Have worked in hospitality myself and never experienced anything like this service ever. This establishment needs a manager at front of house and staff training.

The food is lovely the staff are helpful and the delivery driver was quick a bit pricy but if the food is good don't mind paying it

First time visit for us but daughter and husband had been here before and thought we would like it, and we did. It’s a small venue so would assume that booking a table would be essential. The restaurant does small plates of food as well as a few larger choices. We went for the small plates and had about 5/6 between the four of us. Great variety of tastes amongst the dishes which included a whole plaice, chicken skewers, green beans (so good we had an extra portion) smashed and fried new potatoes. It’s a little noisy but a good atmosphere, our waitress was friendly and chatty and knowledgeable. They apparently have a steak night once a week which we might do on the next visit to NI.

Not amused at all with the service. I ordered chicken noodle soup over the phone for collection. I collected it and discovered it was a different soup. That’s fine, I rang again to say it wasn’t right and I was bringing it back. When I got there it felt extremely awkward with a man standing behind the counter with two women, I handed the food over and he proceeded to open it up, grab a spoon and start eating it (this is a VERY weird thing to do in front of the customer) he then proceeded to say it tasted fine as if I was complaining about nothing. IT WAS THE WRONG SOUP. So I asked if everything was ok because he was just staring at me. He said yes with a blank expression on his face. I felt very uncomfortable. When I got home I opened the soup to find that it was half empty. So i’ve wasted two trips and i’m still hungry. The food is normally very good so hats off to the chef but the counter staff are horrendously bad at their job. I don’t even know if the man worked there if i’m honest. Not sure who’s in charge of hiring people but they need to have a word with themselves. To sum up, i’ll not be back. Thanks.

Bought 4 tickets for friends and myself to see a band totalling £37.50. Upon arrival we were not asked to produce tickets. Doormen proceeded to wave people on in for free. No offer made to reimburse us. Feel like we were ripped off for simply being music fans. My advice to anyone tempted to buy a ticket for a future gig here would be not to bother. Just turn up and get waved on in for free.

Lovely meal with my family. I had a tasty vegetable soup followed by a haddock risotto. The others had chicken wings and then a burger for husband and a steak for my son. Service was good and staff are friendly and helpful. Hope to be back and seems like a good choice of dishes on the menu.

An elderly lady with wavy/curly hair was very rude towards my mother. My mother and I attend the cafe in the evening, was served by a lovely young lady. Shortly while my mother and I mind our own business this elderly lady came close to our table and was making a lot of loud bang nosies around our table and kept staring at my mother. My mother felt uncomfortable then informed me we need to drink up our drinks as she felt that the cafe may be closing very soon. But I reassured my mother we still have 45 mins left and there is roughly 4/5 more new customers coming in after we sat down having our drinks. The elderly lady felt that she still has to stared at my mother to the point she felt uncomfortable and questioning is it because we were the only Asians people at the cafe and we were not welcoming from her? My mum asked the lady if she is okay as she wouldn’t stop looking at her and the elderly lady storm toward my mother and I and sharply say if my mum is okay and I quickly questioning the lady of why was she kept staying at my mother and she said my mum was staying at her too and I responded that it’s because she would not stop staring at my mum and it is making her feel uncomfortable and kept making nosies around our table and our table only. When I was defending my mother she quickly realised that all the customers and the other two young staff are questioning of what is going on as we came in and mind our own business and was very friendly back to all the staff members. The elderly lady then apologised to my mother but I felt that the apology was not sincerely and felt that she had too because everyone was looking at her.
