Four Star Pizza Bangor in North Down

The woman told me 3 times that my pizza was in the oven and I ordered it 30 to 40 minutes ago. This is a disgrace

I think Four Star make the best pizzas for the price, just can't go wrong with them and they are open late too

Soggy and pretty much raw fries and everyone got a food poisoning next day. Really bad first experience from 4 star pizza, I wouldn't recommend.

ordered on just eat, after i placed the order i waited outside so other people in the house wouldn’t be woke up by knocking at the door. driver never turned up but the order said it was delivered on the just eat app, i then called the restaurant was told the driver knocked on my door and i didn’t answer even though i was waiting outside and he was never here. restaurant also claimed they called me and texted me but i got no calls or texts, they also told me they would charge me an extra delivery fee to send my order back out then the man on the phone hung up on me.

Pizza is literally as dry as the box it came in

Ordered a sub today through just eat, absolutely appalling. Delivery arrived 10 minutes after the earimayes delivery. Food was soggy, cold and, low quality and inedible. Order was incomplete as sub had no sauce and fries has no dip. Cost £15 as well. Feel like I've been mugged 🤣🤣🤣

Visited for the first time. Very enjoyable pizza. Staff pleasant and courteous. The pizza base itself had a more soft and bready texture, so it is ideally placed for sauce dippage. Toppings, although plentiful, are placed around the edge of the pizza, like a crown, with the centre ring being sauce and cheese. Will definitely return.

Great food, on the phone to a lovely guy called Scott he had great customer service skills. Food arrived quickly and still hot!!!

Pizza arrived - not as described! Phoned back to explain - met with the utmost rudeness - offered to return pizza as not wanted and requested to pay for this - usually very tasty and never had any issues

Great place, however closes too early, would be better if it was open to 2 every night.

Just ordered a pizza and juice and the delivery driver thinks it's ok too leave the food at the out side flats door and walk away, once that food touched the ground it became worth less and cold.. but James the fella taking orders thinks it's ok too just leave food on the ground ! Ill ring your boss and see if they think the same James

Pizzas are great, very flavoursome, unfortunately orders are not always correct, that's the only reason I dropped a star!

Ordered 3 subs on Saturday night. one sub came with no filling just cheese. Phoned to get another sent. Had to explain to send side again as the food we had would be cold before another sub arrived. I was told the replacement food would be with us in 20-25 mins with apologises. I had to phone back 1 hour later to be told they didn't know why the person before said 20-25 mins and that the driver had left 25 mins ago. Totalling 50mins - 1 hour replacement delivery. Most of the food was cold by then and had to be microwaved to allow us to all eat together.

Love their pizza. Great range of toppings. Delivery is always piping hot.

Can't order on just eat. No answer on the phone. If you dont want to deliver you don't have to. Don't lie that you will.

Asked for pepperoni on my pizza, might as well have asked for margarita by itself, more cheese than pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza 🤔

Terrible service completely lied to. After waiting over 1.5 hrs for the food (estimated to be 30 min) I phoned asking where my food was, the girl I spoken to went to check. I could hear her talking to a guy about my order and his words to her which I could clearly hear (Just tell him it got delivered to the wrong house or something and we will send him a new order)

As always forgot the bloody dips. Don't yous realise that's what makes the order

So after reading some reviews first I was a bit skeptic but I always like trying different places so I went to try anyway. I must say First class service, pizza was real good the dough was spot on wasn’t hard and tough. Pizza wasn’t over cooked and burnt either like most places. The staff that served me was great he handed me a menu gave me time to think and decide what I wanted. Didn’t even take the 15 he said it would be and also brought it out to me. Also the cookies are to die for, will definitely be back top class service

Ordered through just eat at 6.45pm. Order accepted. Estimated delivery time 7.20pm-7.45. Got a text message to say your order is on its way at 7.45pm . 8.10pm and no delivery! Rang four star at 8.25pm . First of they couldn't find my ordered and asked if I was sure I ordered with them to which I confirmed I did . I had an order number and sourced there number from my order on the just eat app ! They eventually confirmed that I did infact place an order with them ""Apparently the driver must've been unable to find my address " ordered many of times with these" they offered to make my order from scratch! Wasn't good enough. I can understand restaurants are busy ! However, to not know where my order was is pathetic. Wont be ordering again ! Order was nearly £40!!!

Pizza delivery is always spot on but when i ordered cookies they were tiny and burnt for the price there charging disappointing 😞

Great quality pizza with generous toppings, best pizza in Bangor!

I'll start with the positives. I placed the order on Just Eat and the order was confirmed quickly, and I got a message to say it was on its way. Food arrived, and was really tasty but warmish, not hot. The negatives: The toppings weren't exactly overloaded. Think I counted 10 pieces of pineapple on a medium pizza. Bit mean! Would love to know why there is no extra cheese offered as a topping. Lastly, the delivery driver was horrid. I've seen happier people at a funeral. He offered me the bag to take the pizza myself instead of handing it to me. Rude. So overall, food tasty but not loaded with toppings, but I'd avoid it if all the delivery staff are like that. I even gave the driver a tip cos I always do. He grunted and walked off. Don't expect them to sing and dance on my doorstep, but manners cost nothing. .

I NOW KNOW WHY THEY HAVE LOW STAR RATINGS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE SHOULD OF READ IT FIRST...MY experience.....Staff are on the go slow & stop,pizza delivery people standing with hands in their pockets and 2 eating on pizza waiting on the go slow staff,shop seating piled up with pizza boxes and the pizza ordered I could taste the fat of the bacon through the dough had to throw it out as it tasted horrible,I was standing watching the pizza makers my God there was more speed in a garden snail talking about dragging your feet no wonder the delivery crew where standing for near half an hour and no wonder pizzas are arriving cold on delivery as most pizzas are sitting out from the oven waiting until the pizza peel boy decided to box them IF THIS WAS MY FRANCHISE I WOULD NOT HESITATE ON SACKING ALL STAFF FROM THE MANAGEMENT DOWN AND CLOSE SHOP.... TAKE MY ADVICE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PIZZA PLACE....one last thing..NO MASKS WORN BY ALL STAFF ???

Young man on the phone tonight 07/12/19 was incredibly patient and very helpful. Couldn't be more impressed. UPDATE: 22/08/21 - ordered a takeaway from another restaurant (rookie mistake) that didn't deliver, after midnight. Called four star and told them what happened, they said "don't worry well have a pizza out in half an hour", door knocked 15 mins later with a fresh pizza cooked perfectly. Absolute legends. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you.

Best pizza I've ever tasted!!!!!

Decided to have a pizza tonight and went to my local four star. Medium pizza, double pepperoni, double onion and chopped garlic. Simple right. Got home looked at pizza and was shocked. 19 shreds of onion for a double portion on a pizza that size is ridiculous. To top it they were all burnt, meaning they were dried out before even making it to my pizza. Pepperoni fine and just enough however the cheese was tough and very chewey. Not much garlic either. My previous experience has been good. The dough is always great and tomato base nicely sharp. I’m disgusted at what I received today especially in the current climate.at £11.00 not the cheapest either. My advice to customers is open the box when you get your pizza and check thoroughly.

Ordered for the first time tonight and it arrived quicker than they said on the phone but they forgot the drinks and everything was lukewarm, I put the pizzas in the oven and they were nice but the wedges and fries were like rubber and not nice at all, I'd suggest you invest in something that gets food to customers warm as I was only 10 minutes away so obviously the boxes have been put in the back seat and not a hot box

Placed an order arrived quick enough only to be the wrong order, realised at the door so no issue driver said he'd be back shortly, and sure enough he was back in 10 mins, unfortunately the pizza was wrong for what little toppings it had there was some missing and pizza was less than luke warm and the garlic and herb dip was curdled when open must have been stored somewhere warm, safe to say I won't be back anytime soon.

I, normally, find your pizza place to be excellent. I don't understand what happened tonight, no familiar faces, a reluctance to take our order, but what I find unforgivable is the fact that we waited & waited & eventually asked why it was taking so long to discover it was ready for some time. Went on the recommendation of a friend. Probably one of the worst pizza take aways I've encountered. The "premium" side of wedges with cheese was terrible. I suspect they were far from fresh, I suspect they were from the freezer. They were obviously made from not great potatoes as there was black bits throughout. The establishment has a five star for hygiene. I'm not sure how it was obtained as in the public area it was not clean. Under the sit in tables looked as though it had not been brushed or mopped in quite some time. If I'd noticed before ordering I would have went to the chip shop in the same complex. Young lad on the counter was pleasant enough. He seemed to be the only one interested in serving. We waited quite a while as he was on the phone taking an order. Another staff member seemed to be more interested in checking his phone than serving customers. If the present trend continues both in hygiene of the public areas (I wasn't able to view the kitchen area too closely), they should rename the establishment "one star pizza". One to avoid, at least for me anyway.

By far, the best pizzas in North Down. Fresh ingredients, a choice of bases, imaginative and constantly evolving menu, and cracking sides... it's a must.

Rang for a delivery from Bangors four star pizza and a guy called Darren assisted me with making my order. The service was absolutely brilliant so I just had too rate them and give a review. The delivery was fast and the food is the best like honestly hands down best pizza I've had.. (dominoes is gear tho) so Darren thank you for the assistance. Also would be better if you had the preparation stages on the app too.

Best quality pizza made with freshly made dough and fresh ingredients daily. Far better than any other pizza company and much better quality with fast reliable delivery.
