Food was amazing but more importantly the new owner is the nicest gent! If you loved their food before you’ll love it more now and the issue of rude, nasty owner has been removed too! Their garlic and sweet chilli chips or sexy chips as I call them are sooooo good!! And the pasta 🤤 of wow!!!

Called in to shop to collect Pizza, I usually get it delivered, but this was first class, also tried their chilli and cheese Pizza bread which was amazing. Staff were very friendly as well. I will definitely call in again. I also learnt that it has recently changed ownership, which might explain the previous poor reviews.

Ordered two 12” Cajun Chicken Pizzas and a Garlic Dip last night, not only was it delivered well within the time given, the toppings on the Pizza were first class as was the Dip. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family because this Pizza was delicious 😋

Ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would be an hour wait which I was happy enough with. The pizza arrived 2 hours later and they had also sent the wrong pizza which was not very good. Very very disappointing!!

Always really enjoy our visits to Dolce Vita Pizzeria and considering the current climate and social distancing we were over the moon, 2 amazing pizzas as always and an epic garlic bread and to do it quickly and have the authentic Italian taste with the rustic feel...freshly made dough pays off folks, and this place is a marker for others to try and reach, Love it, thank you!!!

Things turned out very nasty after mistakenly ordering incorrectly and TRYING to explain myself to the owner over the phone, he became verbally abusive towards me, threatening me with obscene language, saying to bring the order back to the shop if I was brave enough and I know where you live. We had to console our son the rest of the even as he overheard everything and was scared, thinking the owner was going to get us! Saturday night ruined! The owner clearly thinks with is muscles and not with his head, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! **Note to owner: The entire pizza was binned because I am allergic to seafood hence why I phoned to explain the pizza was ordered by mistake. I have since reported the restaurant owner to the Non Emergency Police and Just Eat. On a brighter note the Elf enjoyed it!

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. Ordered two pizzas, one was burnt and inedible and the second was tasteless. When I pointed this out I was shocked at the way I was spoken to by the gentleman. Terrible food, terrible customer service. I’m still shocked.

I used to be the biggest fan of this place, the pizzas were authentic and delicious, made with the best of ingredients and it showed. I'm really sad to say that this great wee spot has gradually gone downhill, with ingredients being replaced by obviously cheaper options and the level of care taken in the making of our food was seriously lacking. The ingredients looked like they had been thrown at the base and hoped they stick, which by chance a few had, and all in the same place!! The once flavoursome cheese has been replaced by some kind of cheap tasteless nonsense, and the tomato sauce replaced by some mass manufactured stuff. Our pizzas were so bad this time around that my daughter was physically sick within ten minutes of eating it, and my partner and I both suffered for the next 24 hours. It wasn't pretty! I never thought I'd be giving this place a one start rating. We won't be back.

Ordered three pizzas and one arrived completely burnt. Other two pizzas were fine. Called the restaurant to inform them and they sent out a delivery driver with a new pizza. However, when the driver arrived with a fresh pizza, he refused to give us the new pizza because a slice and a half of pizza had been eaten (my mum tried eating the pizza but had to stop due to it being burnt). When we called back the lady on the phone was very rude and said the pizza wasn't burnt, which it was. We will never be back. Terrible customer service.

I wanted a Hot & Spicy pizza, so I ordered a 'supposedly' aptly named Mount Etna, delivered locally, off Rathgael Rd. 1. Order time 9:12pm - Delivery time 10:30. D.V Quoted 45 minutes. 2. Pizza was delivered barely warm and not in a thermal delivery pouch. 3. There was a 2.5-3.0cm wide rim around the pizza with No Filling on it. 4. For a pizza named Mount Etna and supposed to be Spicy, it definitely was not ! 5. Have honestly tasted better Supermarket pizza's.6. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOLCE VITA, BANGOR.

Great pizza, very reasonably priced. The staff are always incredibly friendly too. Only thing I would mention is that they don't take card payments, but there is an ATM across the road. Every time we come up to Bangor, we always try to get a pizza from here, it blows the rest away.

I love this place, great selection of pizzas that go beyond your standard pepperoni and Hawaiian! Always fresh and tasty! Slightly more expensive than other places in town but worth it for the quality! Only giving it 4 because I would never get home delivery.. defs go down and collect or it can sometimes be cold! only a small issue though and always happy to go down and order! Highly recommend!

The food would have been great if it had have been delivered sooner . I waited 2 hrs . I was compensated with a dip and extra garlic bread 🙄. I’m disappointed, I know that it would have been top notch when fresh. Unfortunately this is the second late delivery.

The best pizza take away in Bangor. Pizza bases not thick and stodgy but thin and crispy. The chicken used is not little scrapings like some take always but big chunks of chicken breast. The colosseum pizza is fantastic especially with extra garlic. Daniel who is of Italian descent knows how to make good pizza. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Have used Dolce Vita a few times the pizza is ok, and made the mistake of saying to the owner today a young lad full of himself, it would be better for me if you did a seven inch pizza, and cited the three big chains do that size, so the business model does work. He said if I need business advice I'll ask ( I have run my own business for 20 years) and why don't you go there then. Try and guess what I did. I went to Hamilton Road and got a lovely pizza. How not to get someone back, great business man? Given up trying to get good pizza or service until I went to Hamilton Road.JS

I came home late from work and having eaten from here before I decided to order some pizzas. I ordered at 7:25 and was told it would be 40-60 minutes I thought this would be reasonable and kept my children up out of bed to enjoy a take away. After 1hr and 15 minutes I called and asked if my food was on its way and was informed that my pizza wasn't finished cooking! At this point I explained my children had been kept up to get dinner and asked for the manager. He refused to come to the phone as he was 'queued out the door' in shock I said I was disappointed and would be posting a review on trip advisor and Facebook. I called five minutes later to say how long would the delivery be and was told as I had been extremely rude to staff the manager had removed my food from the queue - I said I didn't believe I had been rude and again asked to speak to the manager who was too busy again to speak with me so I said I would come to the restaurant as I wasn't rude and couldn't believe the service I was getting. On arrival, it was clear there was no food prepared for me and the owner/manager was preparing other orders. I walked in and said I wanted to know how my phone call was rude - at which point he set off on a ten minute tirade about trip advisor and how I had threatened his restaurant with trio advisor and would I do that in a restaurant I was sitting in, I let him speak and tried to explain again that I had two children waiting for food and just wanted to check when it would arrive and that yes if I received very poor service I would state I would make an honest review on trip advisor. During our conversation the girl who answered the phones became extremely aggressive and the owner had to restrain her behaviour and ask her to stop getting involved. What this restaurant didn't realise is I have an autistic child who has a structured environment whom I had told a time for dinner and which was not met - the owner then stated he was extremely busy and had so many customers he can pick and choose who he serves and that he had listed the address from yesterday which the delivery was requested as one not to serve again - to which I happily informed him that was not my home address so this was pointless. Their food is truly delicious and all hand made I just wish their customer service was better as it really lets them down and is quite frankly a shock in this day and age to experience such aggression and conformation in the service industry. I'm saddened to think they might do their business a great disservice and they have sadly lost me as a customer due to their attitude towards their customers

We love this local pizza takeway! We don't often order that many take aways but Dolce Vita always provides fresh, tasty and different pizzas. The owners are very friendly, the premises are always very clean and you can see your pizza being made. They also offer a good selection of pasta dishes and sides at competitive prices. The ingredients they use seem to be fresh and good quality and the dishes are overloaded with salt like some take aways (hate being really thirsty after takeaways).Great to have such a well run business in Bangor.

I don't usually review takeout places however my overall experience of this place and their food has always been very good and as such warrants a rating!I've tried most of the pizza places in and around Bangor and whilst the standard is usually fairly good, I personally feel Dolce Vita is just that bit better. You can usually see the pizza being freshly made in front of you and I have never had to wait any considerable amount of time, generally a very efficient little takeaway! The pizza itself tastes very fresh and unlike a lot of competitors nearby, is not dripping with grease (some people might like that, I don't..) they seem to have a pretty good selection of toppings and the base/sauce itself is very good.as an added bonus the staff all seem very friendly and I’ve never felt I’ve had a bad experience, and or meal, from this takeaway.Definitely one of the best in Bangor and I hope they continue to do business for many years to come!

We went here in November 2014, and it's alright. The pizza was nice (pepperoni) bit a bit burnt. They offer a variety of other dishes too, including non-pizza's (chicken strips for example), they deliver, and they're pretty friendly guys.Overall, I'd recommend if you want a basic pizza, but am content to try other places.

I absolutely love this place. When we moved to bangor we couldn't find anywhere driving around on our first night looking for food ( since we had no cooker) ... And thank god we found Dolce Vita. Since then it's been an addiction that we cannot kick! We go every single weekend and sometimes during the week too! Their pizzas are beautiful real authentic Italian pizzas none of this greasy American stuff! And Daniel (the owner) accepts nothing less than perfection so you know you're getting a good meal from the Dolce! Also, must try out the pasta dishes too if you're not in the mood for a pizza because these are out of this world. The food you get is what you would expect in a restaurant and this is a takeaway!!! Would recommend to anyone and really well priced. Wouldn't get pizza anywhere else in Bangor!
