The best restaurants in North Down South Eastern NI

Overcooked bacon under cooked eggs greasy, overall not great , service staff didn't look like they wanted to be there. Wouldn't recommend 😞

Gone to the dogs after the old owner sold it.. terrible management at top level. New owner needs to take some interest. Used to be fantastic

I'm amazed at the poor reviews this café has received. I was there two weeks ago and couldn't have wished for a better experience. The area was clean and tidy, lovely menu selection, friendly attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious and I am attempting to reproduce my meal at home, I enjoyed it so much. Also one of the best selections of pastries etc I have seen in a long time, anywhere.

Great place to eat. Staff very friendly and great food. Good value for money. Very expansive selection of cakes, sandwiches and hot snacks.

I visited this place to meet up with friends and was so disappointed. It is in a beautiful Courtyard but my goodness, the prices are extortionate!! Very overpriced in my opinion and I wonder if this is because it is set in a Tourist location by the small museum. Also, I had literally just put my cup down after finishing my drink and the man came and cleared the table! This made us feel like we either had to order something else or leave. It would have been nice to have just stayed and chatted especially as it wasn't so busy that people were waiting for tables! I won't be back!

First of all, the staff in Hillmount garden Centre Bangor. The restaurant is fabulous 👌 a big thank you to Madeline she make you so welcome. We had are first treat for Christmas turkey and ham Sandwiche and same but in a Panini. Thanks 😋

Lovely meal here with the family and children too, very welcoming efficient staff, the food was all delicious, and a great 3 course meal offer on which was great value.

Coffee no issues but the place has got very grubby. Some body needs to lift all the tables and clean all round the floor and the window ledges as they are rotten. A deep clean required!!

No coffee today, sadly, sign saying cafe permanately closed😢 really missed this facility. Lovely bright spacious store, well stocked shelves, wide aisles.

My family has been ordering from Phoenix for at least 10 years. We will never order again. Recently the food has not been up to standard and today it was so disappointing. It is sad that such a well established restaurant has come to this.

Limited menu. Unexciting menu. Limited vegetarian sishes. Brocolli or mushroom starter and a mushroom main. Manager got a dahl made for my husband.
