The shop was busy when we called in. We found a table in the cafe and had a look at the menu. The ordering system seemed a little confusing and people didn't seem to know where they ought to be queueing. When the food came it was great. My other half had the breakfast and said it was really good. I didn't find the staff particularly welcoming. I know it was busy but even a smile would make customers feel welcome.

The food here is really good and the hygiene of the cafe is very good, however I have been in here a few times now for breakfast and lunch and every time I am greeted by an employee eating her breakfast behind the counter, a number of times tucked down behind the service area, the lady seems frazzled and panicked when she realises there is customers to serve so the reason I am giving a poor review is because I would like to order breakfast/lunch and not to be served by someone in the middle of theirs, surely the staff get breaks for that. Overall the rest of the staff are very kind and pleasant and I would remain a customer however I will probably prefer to take out from the bakery than order in from now on.

This is a great little place, the food is fresh and beautifully cooked. My husband and I had Christmas pie, which was turkey ham stuffing and cranberry, it came with a side salad and the most delicious chunky chips. Staff very friendly and nice atmosphere. Prices on a par with pub food but a a step up in quality. Yum

Poor experience. Not one table available as they were dirty. Prices very high. Staff interaction poor. Food choice poor. They didn’t even have plates for scones or bakes. They were using saucers. This review refers to the store in Next, Bloomfields.

Popped in to buy a take out scone. There were only 3 left & the server said they were waiting on more coming in. I asked for a raisin & also asked if they were ‘bought in’ & she said no they’re made by the chef on the premises. But she just told me they were waiting on more coming in??? Perhaps it was the wrong choice of words ?? Anyway the scone may as well have been ‘plain’ there was 1 raisin in it, yes 1!!! Plus it was very dry. I prefer scones ‘home made’ perhaps this was, but certainly didn’t taste like it.

Lovely meal with my family. I had a tasty vegetable soup followed by a haddock risotto. The others had chicken wings and then a burger for husband and a steak for my son. Service was good and staff are friendly and helpful. Hope to be back and seems like a good choice of dishes on the menu.

Bought 4 tickets for friends and myself to see a band totalling £37.50. Upon arrival we were not asked to produce tickets. Doormen proceeded to wave people on in for free. No offer made to reimburse us. Feel like we were ripped off for simply being music fans. My advice to anyone tempted to buy a ticket for a future gig here would be not to bother. Just turn up and get waved on in for free.

Very tasty pizza at a reasonable price. There was a large gathering on the night we went and it took over an hour to get our food.
