Stopped here for a quick lunch after the city bus tour and wasn’t disappointed. Had the chicken roast dinner and wife had a panini both were tasty and good quality. I have marked it down due to the soft drinks being overpriced. We ordered two cokes which came in very small glasses and on getting the bill realised these were £1.75 each. Way too much. Would return.

We went here because Blinkers was packed. Went for the all day fry. Greasy fried soda, cheap quality sausage & bacon & the fried egg was so hard you could use it as a doorstop. Got my egg replaced but I really did not enjoy any of the meal. The soft drinks are small & expensive. In contrast to Blinkers the staff were indifferent & generally unfriendly. The place seemed grubby & it was half empty. Won’t be back.

Another place I've visited since I was a kid, I love it here. The only issue I've ever had is that it's very tight sitting wise especially if there is one or more prams and/or wheelchairs. The food is always yummy, the staff are always lovely and it's always cozy.

Drove into the city centre to start our hop on hop off Titanic experience and came across Strikes Café as we headed into town. We were acknowledged by the staff the minute we walked in the door, that was a bonus. Lots of seating available and although there were a lot of tables you didn't feel crammed in which was nice. The place had a homely greasy spoon type feel about it without it being tacky. The menu was large and varied and the prices were excellent everything from soup and a sandwich for under a fiver to £8.50 or so for a steak meal. The waiting staff were quick efficient and friendly. There seemed to be lots of banter going on with the staff and customers which gave it an even cosier feel. 2 of us had a small breakfast which consisted of fried egg 2 bacon and toast and one had scrambled egg bacon and toast. Topped up with a fresh orange juice, I pot of tea and a large coffee it was very good value for money at about £15. I would recommend Strikes and Im sure there are some times when you cant get in the place as it seemed very popular with locals and visitors.

It was a really cold, wet day and we wanted something warm but light for lunch. There was a soup and sandwich deal which liked good. We ordered soup and asked what the sandwich would be. Chicken or ham. I asked if I could have cheese (and did). The sandwiches were horrible. Nasty white sliced bread (I would never buy that at home) and synthetic margarine. The staff weren't that friendly either. The main meals looked okay. Limited selection but good value for money but our lunch certainly was not.

Each time my wife and I eat in Strikes, we thoroughly enjoy the eating experience: good wholesome food; served hot, and most reasonably priced. Good space at small tables for enjoying tasty, well cooked food. I recommend Strikes to all hungry tourists to Belfast City Centre.

Was on a day trip to Belfast and fancied a local cafe instead of the usual chain and after wandering for a bit came upon Strikes cafe. Menu looked good so went in and ordered the chicken kiev. Food was great, really tasty and a big portion. The old waitress serving us however was quite rude and dismissive. She seemed nice with other guests, maybe because we weren't locals? The younger waitress was nice who we paid our bill too but the old one needs to improve on her manners and customer service skills. Very bad service which was a shame as the cafe food was great and the place had lots of character.

My wife and I visited Strikes on our recent short break visit to Belfast. Having arrived early in Belfast we decided to have breakfast here. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. There were lots of local people eating in the cafe - which is always a good indicator. Well worth a visit.

Visiting Belfast for the day and stopped here for lunch. Lovely wee cafe and food is good old fashioned home cooked grub! I had a roast chicken dinner which was outstanding, couldn’t eat it all as it was just too much, however hubs helped with the rest!! Will definitely visit again next we’re there.

I have been here for a few times with my dad and his fiancée and the food has always been on top form and the staff have always been helpful and friendly! A wee gem in the city of Belfast!

We turned up at lunchtime on spec looking for a table for 3. We were swiftly shown to a table and the order taken. Three Ulster Fries with tea duly appeared with no fuss. Chips or extra potato bread sealed the deal. The food was simple but good. The waitresses were efficient, lovely and treated everyone as old friends. Northing was too much trouble. This place is a hidden Belfast gem!
