The best restaurants serving American food in North Down South Eastern NI

Whenever I am in Northern Ireland I try to squeeze in a visit to Fontana, I have probably eaten there 10 times over the years. The food is top quality at reasonable prices, and the staff are all lovely. I have forgotten exactly what I had last time I visited, but it was a chicken dish for the main course, and I ended up having two desserts which I didn't quite have room for but glad I tried! I also like their commitment to sourcing things locally where possible, would certainly recommend and I hope to return soon.

I absolutely love this place! Food is always 10/10 , huge portion size , flavoursome and fresh! I love the burrito box and the beef burgers are out of this world. The people that work there are lovely! Great place and Is my favourite go-to takeaway!

It's been completely refurbished with new slides etc. It really is a fantastic looking kids park. My 2 year old loves it, plenty of things to do.

My absolute favourite place in Bangor. Wonderful service, gorgeous, high quality food and well worth the price. The coffee is awesome too. Love it !

A great restaurant for a big family feed but the best thing about this place are the staff. Every time we go there, the girls who serve us are always super friendly and helpful.

We decided to call as we had not been in for about 30 years and were very pleasantly surprised. Although we only called for a drink the place was buzzing. The staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. On checking the menu it seemed to cater for everyone. Large dining area at the rear. Will definitely call again.

Both meals were Lovely, we really enjoyed our lunch Big portions on each plate Very delicious options on menu Great service too.

The burger and chips were both cooked to perfection. It's a little on the expensive side, but i feel like the price is justifiable for the quality - at the very least as a one off to try it out. One of the reviews claims they only took cash, but for me was able to use contactless card for my visit.

we went through the drive through and had asked for an item when the girl on the headset simply said “no”.. no elaboration. so then had to ask again when the girl bluntly said “can’t do that.” so then sat in silence for another minute, then had to ask again for why she couldn’t do that to which she eventually told us the options that we had. then we get to the drive through window and were dirty looked by pretty much all the staff, then practically got our things thrown at us when it was ready. anyways overall a very miserable experience and all i have left to say is to the staff and that’s ‘cheer up’.

Family visit, kfc fries were worst I have ever tasted, like strips of soggy soap, second visit -both experiences aweful!!! where are the managers? Is this standard exceptable by the firm?
