Grill'd in North Down

I absolutely love this place! Food is always 10/10 , huge portion size , flavoursome and fresh! I love the burrito box and the beef burgers are out of this world. The people that work there are lovely! Great place and Is my favourite go-to takeaway!

Ordered the burrito box, paid an extra £1 for sweet potato fries and they were raw. The whole dish was ruined. - not worth it I'm afraid.

drove by and stopped on a lim. food was OK, nothing to write home about. ghost chilli sauce is not spicy and very like tandoori not edible. not what I expected. also tried the jerk and bulgogi, just ok. take a trip upto roosters in ballymena and see how chicken is done right. as a reply it was yoghurt tasting (the ghost chilli)and roosters do not fry their wings. all grilled and beautiful. take a trip up and you will see. ps they aren't a chain.

Correcting an old review I left. This is the best chicken place going, period. In do Still wish they did some vegetarian options or could cook halloumi separate. It’s the main reason I don’t eat here as often as I used to. And it can be painfully slow at times for delivery and collection. But to be expected given how great the food is and how busy they can get. Long story short you won’t get a better chicken burger in Northern Ireland

Just ordered from grilled, service was great but the food was poor, after spending 30 pounds on a meal, so lets say 15 piynd for 5 peri peri thighs the sauce had no flavour and not good value for money for 5 small thighs, spicy rice, no flavour and salad very plain, not a very good 30 pound spent it seems the food is lacking ingredients, ive had peri peri chicken before so know what it tastes like and the sweet patatoe fries were overcooked, seriously when your paying 15 pound fir chicjen thighs youd expect the flavour to be exquisite not worth the money .

Don’t bother. Food late or they cancel order when it’s due to be delivered. Or you get the food and it’s cold and full of grease. Save your money and go somewhere else

Never ordering again , ordered a beef burger and bit into it and noticed it tasted weird , tore a piece off and it was completely RAW , felt very sick after not being able to eat it

Been here several times now, and can’t fault the place. The food is unreal and the flavours are amazing keep up the good work guys it shows in your food 👌🏼

Great fresh food and a good feed to more than satisfy. A really well priced restaurant that always provides a good service whether its for delivery or collection.

Absolutely love this place but tonight wasn't good . Place was crazy busy which is good but on my online orders I asked for no chillies or sweetcorn and got both ,and loads of chillies. I asked for sour cream and chilli jam.which they didn't give and an extra thigh which wasn't there . ,my order was £12 which isn't cheap but I guess with them being so busy they gave me someone's else's order . My wife's order was correct and was very good . Going to give it miss from now which is.sad.

Grill'd came highly recommended and we were not disappointed! Ordered Burrito Box, Chicken Burger, 2 X Grilled Thigh burgers all excellent! The Bulgogi sauce was delish! We even liked the fries. In fact it was all delicious. Reasonably priced too, and qood quality, we will be back soon 10 Sept 2022, back again for the 15th time, unlike almost every other takeaway and restaurant, Grill's has kept its very high standard! Never disappoints!

Chicken was tough and overpriced

Made my order and was really disappointed, the order was 30 minutes late. When I rang to ask for an update the staff member I spoke to was very rude, sighing down the phone. I understand weekends are very busy but that doesn’t mean the standards of service should drop. When the order arrived it wasn’t even right and was then told by the driver they would bring back the correct order they never returned. Not impressed.

Place is always spot on, and they aways bring food to your car while you wait. Love the place. Food is perfect 👌

Expensive and personally I did not feel it had very much taste. Hot ingredients mixed with room temperature ingredients, smothered in chilled sauce. The way I can describe it is less tasty but more expensive boojum.

Today I ordered food for my family, instead of a halloumi pitta we were given a chicken pitta. Wrong salad request on it when it finally arrived! The driver said I see they forgot your drink too he had to go back and get it and the halloumi pitta! I asked for sauces separately for my daughter to try, was told they were free but they were missing but were on the receipt, I asked for bulgogi sauce for my burger but none was on it! This has now happened on 3 occasions with Grill’d’ not giving us the right order. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt in the past but that’s me finished! When you phone it’s too noisy in the background with music and everyone shouting at each other! No wonder they can’t get the order right.

Got the burrito box and wrap. Fresh and delicious flavours. Good value for money

Some people like kfc some like nandos and the rest of us love grilld.

Just had an absolutely delicious chicken thigh burger, with piri piri hot sauce. Delicious, in fact so delicious I think I will convince my wife we get a takeaway from Grill'd for tonight's dinner

Food order was wrong, rang to let them know, then blamed us for getting it wrong saying "What do you want me to do ". Begrudgingly remade the order, but very rude attitude.

Food was great we all loved it. However we preordered online and the collection time was 20 minutes I arrived for the collection and waited a further 20 minutes for the order.

Fantastic food cooked very well so I would highly recommend them. My only niggle is that delivery can be quite slow at times but then again, their chicken wings are honestly worth the wait !

first of all no one on the premises bar customers was wearing any Protective equipment, there was also no perspex screens when my food arrived it was sub par, the chips had 0 flavour and the chicken was bland no matter how much sauce they decided to drown it in. They provided no cutlery or any napkins either even though they bring you the food to your car for takeaway service

Poor customer service as staff overworked. Collected order asked to wait in car and it would be brought out. Waited 20 mins got fed up and went in and it had been sitting behind counter. I asked why didn't you bring it out to be told we are busy!!! Chips were soggy and cold from sitting but burger was very tasty

Original, new and super fresh! Best thing to happen in the food industry in N.I !! Nothing can compare! Saucy sauce and succulent meats will have your mouth watering!

1st time here, massive fan of pepes would drive from carrick to pepes in lisburn but now it looks like we dont need to not often food lives up to the hype but this place does plus the staff couldnt of been any better will be back

I was really looking forward to ordering from here as it had been highly recommended. Pleasant staff, not extortionate pricing and the food seemed fresh. Ordered a chicken wrap and a burrito box. It was decidedly average.

Messiest burger I've ever had, but so worth it. Sweet potato fries are awesome.

Sauces are terrible sticky BBQ is like water and taste more like hoisin sauce taste nothing like BBQ and its far from sticky chicken is cooked perfectly coleslaw is unreal but the sauce needs some serious work. Would be 5* if sauces were better sticky BBQ should be sticky perhaps sauce is to thin not thick enough. Food is very well presented for a take away and place looks very clean and staff is somewhat friendly depending g on their day can be very blunt doesnt hurt to smile.

Worth the drive from Belfast, loaded pitta with thighs and halloumi are delicious and recommend the bulgogi sauce

My favourite takeaway in Bangor. Loaded thigh burger with bulgogi sauce is amazing, also best Peri Peri and chicken wings going. And dont get me started on the coleslaw.

Good food and fast delivery however the delivery man IGNORED my instructions which clearly stated “to leave delivery in the downstairs hall of the apartment building” for contact free delivery due to covid-19 instead the delivery man tried to access the first floor of my building and waited until I arrived downstairs to collect my order from him, definitely did not pay any attention to the instructions I left and 100% defeated the purpose of contact free delivery which is very important as I live with my mother who has severe asthma and my 1 month old baby, needs worked on!!!

Burger is very tender and yummy! Although, whenever I've gotten sweet potato chips from them it's been either cold or very oily and floppy

Just tried here today. Wee gem of a place with good chicken burgers, all fresh without coating. Good variety of dips/sauces, all being able to sample first. Staff very helpful. Defo be back.

Ended up trying for the first time there.. from the moment we ordered it took 2 hrs to get to the door. Understandable for being a Saturday though... but when the food arrived, ohhh my days the food was definitely worth the wait! They even slipped in a cheeky discount code to apologise for the wait. This is the second time we've had food from Grill'd and once again it was delicious! So fresh and tasty. Delivery was also quick and no plastic containers in sight . Our new favourite take away!

Recommended by a friend and lived up to expectations! Fresh and flavoursome. The 'Bombay' and 'spicy' rice are amazing and there's a sauce to suit everyone. Give it a go, you'll love it 🤗

Unfortunately our order was incorrect with condiments added & not as requested and the food spoiled as a result. First visit but unlikely to be the last.

I've been getting food from Grill'd for the last 6 months and overall its been a nice alternative to getting Chinese or Indian takeway. The chicken is good, i particularly like the BBQ sauce. Service is fast and the staff are friendly. I really liked the different rice side they do as well, loads of flavour. The prices have gone up on sides recently which for me means it's no longer good value. To be fair the chicken prices haven't increased, but a meal with 2 sides now is over £10. I think the fries used to be nicer too, not sure if they changed supplier. I think going forward I'll just stick with the chicken and skip the sides!

Most definitely Grill'd deserves 5🌟 This is by far the Best & Nicest takeaway in Bangor or takeaway full stop! We were always a Friday night is Chinese night kinda family. Not until I tasted Grill'd. Theirs no more Chinese's for me, it's here Every time. Not only though is the food delicious but the staff are Amazing. Their so friendly & make you feel extremely welcome & that your order has to be perfect every time & it is! Don't Stop what your doing Grill'd, for you've got it just right!

Loaded chicken pita bulgogi beats anything in 20 sq miles

Paid a recent visit tonight with a significant price increase to match. Gone are the days of a meal with 2 sides for £7.50, now you’ll pay a hefty £10.00!!! Significant price increase for probably less food. Chip portions seemed to have decreased as well. Don’t get me wrong the food is food but where is the justification in such a price increase? Unfortunately I won’t be back at the current prices. Which is such a shame.

My family really like this place, I find it a bit boring to be honest, I don't much like the sauces used for flavour, but that's me make your own decision.

I would go here once a week (don’t Judge me 🙈) every time the food has been great and the staff super friendly, well worth a try.

Have ordered the few times now and it's always delicious. My favorite has to be the jerk chicken thighs and the spicy rice which is very hot but so tasty. Everything else we have tried has also been delicious, peri peri chicken breast and thighs, jerk breast and thighs, pittas, chips, sp fries... Delivery is always fairly quick and the price is always really fair. Just hope they survive and thrive because I'd be well miffed if they disappeared like so many of the new restaurants that often pop up and disappear.

Excellent takeaway. Something a little different for Bangor. Coleslaw is amazing, as was 1/2 chicken. Fantastic sauces and good service to. Fresh seems to be most important here, and it show in the food. A Well worthy winner of Best New Business in Bangor Business awards 2019.

My friend recommended this place and it has been a real game changer for me . Im gluten free and like to eat as cleanly as possible. They offer two gluten free sauces and gluten free fries which are nice and crispy even after a ten minute drive home. Ive been a couple of times now and love it ! The owners are passionate about what they do and this really shows in the food . The chicken is Irish, full of flavour and melts like butter off the bone . Ive had the half roast chicken and the boneless thighs so far, both have been exceptional ! The sauces are a thing of beauty . Unlike other takeaways they are full of natural flavours with subtle smokey undertones and well executed spicing 🌶 The premises is very clean and the staff are professional and friendly . The price seems to me like very good value for the quality and quantity of what you get . The only downside to finding this place is that they have raised the bar so high with their chicken cookery that I may never cook chicken myself again ! Thank you

What an outstanding place great food great staff and easy to see menu ordering is simple this is a really nice takeaway, the chicken is well cooked and you have a choice of flavoured basting, the only downside is that the bbq one is a touch thin but so full of flavour, the chips/fries are well cooked, some people may think it is expensive but if you want a quality take out then the price is well worth it..

It's great to find somewhere doing tasty fast food that's not unhealthy. The lunchtime specials are rapidly becoming a favourite for myself and my work colleagues.

Absolutely love this place. Have had pretty much everything from the menu now and tried every sauce. Each and every thing I tried was amazing. No faults with this place at all. I could eat out of here every day lunch and dinner. Ps Grilld when is the breakfast menu coming 😂😂

Have eaten from here twice now, and have been very impressed with the quality both times. I wasn’t in the shop first time, and my other half brought the food home... The first thing that struck me was the really slick branded packaging, it looks like something from a much larger company, really cool and kept the food warm. First time around I had a double chicken burger in Piri Piri sauce. It was lovely, and very good quality but massive! The chips and coleslaw are beautiful. The last time I ate here, I went in myself. The place is really beautifully done, and completely open plan, so you can see all the cooking from the counter. It’s immaculate! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the menu, and popular dishes. This time I tried a single chicken breast in pitta, with a sauce I’d never heard of and can’t remember. It was really different to anything I’ve eaten locally. Overall, it’s obviously not as cheap as Colin’s chippy!! It would only be a few quid more- but it’s clearly due to the quality of the ingredients. Would highly recommend.

Popped into Grill'd on my way back home, had a busy morning and needed a quick tasty lunch. And I was not disappointed, I had two thighs on spicy rice with Jerk sauce and a tin of Club for just £5. It was delicious and very filling, I will be back !

This place is ace. I was recommended by a friend so while the wife and kids were away I decided to give it a bash. Chicken pitta with spicy rice and a sploge of fhose chilli sauce. Doesn't sound much but tasted great, the rice was just a a tingle of spice to it and the chicken pitta was clean and very spicy with the ghost sauce. It doesn't feel take out either, really tasted clean and healthy. Top notch if you've not tried it you are missing out.
