Poor experience. Not one table available as they were dirty. Prices very high. Staff interaction poor. Food choice poor. They didn’t even have plates for scones or bakes. They were using saucers. This review refers to the store in Next, Bloomfields.

Arrived an hour before closing, bought our coffees and settled on a comfy sofa to enjoy an hour of relaxation. A staff member told us to move to the only other sofa which was beside the kids play area as she was about to mop the floor. Won’t be back.

I'll keep it brief. Post covid - no masks of any sort. No gloves. No sanitation. Every table I passed has crumbs or coffee over it. Asked to leave well prior to closing time. Floors stinking. Toilet roll not on confined holder - thank goodness I had my own tissues. After experiencing all this I took to trip advisor to find out what others thought and its clearly an appalling establishment. If I could put it less than one star I would, but I can't. Won't be back. Ground in Bloomfields is much cleaner, friendlier and more pleasant. Should be closed. Someone will get sick!

Disgusted with service received today my hubby is in a wheelchair got told at doorway by young male that he was closed couldn’t do take away coffee yet it was only 3.58 pm when I returned to my drivers car seat having got my hubby out of his wheelchair and chair packed away in car boot and website states open til 21.30pm and as I Drove away the coffee shop door was still open. This is about the worst service I have ever received anywhere in Northern Ireland, no apology given to us... won’t visit again don’t recommend to anyone

This is a super big coffee shop where you can buy the beans that make the delicious coffee, chat in comfort and be greeted by enthusiastic and helpful staff. Just wish more coffee shops were similar!

Whilst visiting family, my daughter treated me to a lunch here. We each ordered a sandwich, coffee and cake. To be honest, we could have ordered one between the two of us as the portions were very generous. The lunch was tasty and filling. I agree that the "clean up" after people have finished could be quicker but the staff were very friendly.

Visited twice and never again. Coffee first time was okay (asked for a mocha and was presented with an iced mocha; couldn't have been bothered arguing) and the girls serving me were okay but second time I was served an overpriced hot chocolate with a tiny squirt of cream and two marshmallows by a horrid young man who had no manners and who acted as if he was the best barista around with his cocky and nonchalant mannerism. Would have complained to the manager but he seemed as bad. The drinks are okay but AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE if you value service with a smile!!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, the music was so loud we had trouble hearing each other speak, the chairs were full of crumbs and the tables rocked every time you touched them. We ordered coffees which were ok and a salted caramel brownie which was nice apart from the fact we got an end corner which was hard and half the size of the rest of the brownies but still got charged full price, staff weren’t very friendly, wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Service was quick and staff were friendly but... When i asked about a certain item on the menu the staff could not give me an answer at all on what the contents were. Giving me an answer of "I don't know I haven't eaten it so i don't know". I thought i would take the risk and order to which the staff member grabbed the food item (wrap) with his bare hands and put in on a plate, along with the salad and the crisps. Both of which were also picked up with his bare hands. Very off putting and very unhygienic. Shame really.

We arrived with three grandchildren for coffee juice and buns. The two young guys serving behind the counter could not have been more helpful or understanding. Even when one of the children spilt his milk one of the staff was right there in seconds with a cloth - and a straw to help. Coffee was goods and the kids all enjoyed their different cakes and buns. Decor odd but will be back

Reminds me of an airport departure lounge. Food is woeful and the coffee is the most bitter I've ever tasted. Guillemot by the pier we tried the next day and it was much better by comparison. Also Grind is like one massive room so the every time someone talks there's an echo. If you want a quiet coffee this is NOT the place to go.

No vegetarian options in sandwiches and panini today (other than bagel with banana and honey which isn’t really great for lunch). Asked what the soup was instead, no soup I’m told. Loads of tables not cleared, we had to clear and wipe down a table ourselves to sit down. Ok if you want coffee and traybake, but I wouldn’t return for anything more than that.

Popped in to buy a take out scone. There were only 3 left & the server said they were waiting on more coming in. I asked for a raisin & also asked if they were ‘bought in’ & she said no they’re made by the chef on the premises. But she just told me they were waiting on more coming in??? Perhaps it was the wrong choice of words ?? Anyway the scone may as well have been ‘plain’ there was 1 raisin in it, yes 1!!! Plus it was very dry. I prefer scones ‘home made’ perhaps this was, but certainly didn’t taste like it.

Lovely meal with my family. I had a tasty vegetable soup followed by a haddock risotto. The others had chicken wings and then a burger for husband and a steak for my son. Service was good and staff are friendly and helpful. Hope to be back and seems like a good choice of dishes on the menu.

Bought 4 tickets for friends and myself to see a band totalling £37.50. Upon arrival we were not asked to produce tickets. Doormen proceeded to wave people on in for free. No offer made to reimburse us. Feel like we were ripped off for simply being music fans. My advice to anyone tempted to buy a ticket for a future gig here would be not to bother. Just turn up and get waved on in for free.

Very tasty pizza at a reasonable price. There was a large gathering on the night we went and it took over an hour to get our food.

Went here as the cafe has a lovely setting but it is let down badly as it is extremely overpriced. One of us had soup and half a sandwich - small bowl of soup which tasted just OK and a sandwich which has to be the smallest I have ever seen with very little filling! Total rip off for the price. There is also no choice for gluten free customers. Such a pity as the cafe is pleasant to sit in.
