The best restaurants in North Down South Eastern NI

We visited Li Li's Friday 25th October. This was my second visit, my husbands first. Food was really tasty and the two staff members very friendly. Restaurant was very clean and service fast and efficient. We will definitely go back again.

One sub was soggy and thrown out. The delivery man was rude, aggressive and frightened me a bit.

food usually good from the Station diner but unfortunately this time it was just to greasy so much grease it soaked right through the box, couldn't eat the chips and fish batter was terrible soggy with grease..put fish in air fryer to get some of the grease out before eating as I said usually very pleased with the station diner just not this time.

Honestly an overall poor experience. Had a table booked for 12pm, arrived 5 minutes early to be told by a young rude man to leave and come back in 10 minutes. After returning, taken to a table and had to wait over 20 minutes before drinks being brought to the table, which we then had to tell the boy we would like to order food. We were a party of 5 (3 children) and only 3 main courses came to the table with 2 of the children’s meals coming 5 minutes after. Mozzarella sticks were barely warm, chips were obviously bought in frozen, and the food itself was average. We weren’t checked during the meal, nor asked after if we enjoyed the food. The food I could live with, but the service was just so so poor. Unfortunately won’t be back.

Food lovely as always. I was walking past today before 2pm and the shutters were down. I thought that you were open 12pm til 7pm .

The most DISGUSTING food I have EVER encountered! Garlic Butter chips with half a pound of sugar. SERIOUSLY? WHY? Ordered a Chicken Thai Green Curry and alarm bells should have went off, when I asked for extra coriander, to be told 'we don't have any'.. You can't make Thai Curry without it. I can't even describe what I was given but it was vile. This time I got the rest of the bag of sugar thrown in, no coconut base and a sloppy liquid so sweet I was left wondering if I now had diabetes. In the bin it went as the journey back was too far. STAY CLEAR of this place. They are clueless when it comes to Asian food and I'm at a loss to understand how they are still in business!!

Food OK.. however will not be back as the waitress approached me while eating my lunch and give me the bill and asked me to pay. Very of putting.

I love it. Always good food at a reasonable price. Can't recommend enough. I mostly order the BBQ chicken calzone with some extras. Always hits the spot

Rice and chips needed microwaved, chicken pathia main just about warm. Not good enough!! Improvements needed no matter the delivery time

Today I fancied a chippie tea. At around 19.55 I arrived in your shop. I ordered 1 pastie a portion of Portavogie Scampi, 1 Battered sausage & a large Curry sauce. Cost just over £15.00 What I received was a soggy wet pastie where the batter wasn’t even crisp, the Scampi was clearly frozen & tough & had never even been close to the Irish ☘️ sea The chips I assume were garnish as I didn’t order any were Luke warm at best the sausage was ok however the accompanying Curry sauce was non existent, instead i got gravy that was so thick & salty it was unedible. Your website says it’s the best fish & chips but it is far from it. It’s against the law to falsely advertise a product or quote location of a product if you know it to be of the wrong location or supply. Your prices would lead you to believe that produce is freshly prepared & not something available at your local convenience store. I am truest disgusted at this as your shop was a previous award winner. Proof in photos. I would feel like I should get a complete refund. My food was not edible & not what ordered.

One of the better stores…. Feel sorry for the staff dealing with the tripe of Holywood. Poor staff must suffer PTSD from serving the swill of energy vampires and over entitlement of people coming here. Staff always helpful and kind, coffee is well made always.

Basically a greasy spoon / truckers type cafe but the food was reasonable which made it bearable. I used to visit at least once weekly. My last occasion (over a year ago- maybe even 2) saw me and my son spoken to in an incredibly rude manner by two women serving behind the counter because they were under a bit of pressure because it was busy. They were 2 long established workers too, not wee young inexperienced girls. If my young son hadn’t have been there I’d have made my feelings known but I decided to leave it. My son even commented on their attitudes when we sat at our table. Since then ive not and never will be back.
