This restaurant deserves its many positive reviews. My family and I all enjoyed our meals. The dining room setting is nice - attractive/tasteful (although most diners were dressed casually). The food was interesting, good-tasting, and well-plated. The service was great.
I would definitely eat here again on a return trip to Ballycastle.
My wife and I came here on Wednesday for a bite to eat and we got to say this place is stunning. We were seated at our table straight away which was amazing
The waitresses were very friendly and the meals were unreal. Highly recommended!
We will definitely be coming back!
Fantastic experience! The food was fresh, delicious, and served with great presentation. The service was fast and friendly, making for a perfect night out.

we were very disapponted, as stayed there previously a few years back.
Booked two seperate rooms--one room key was very difficult to open and close-the other did not open at all so had to change room. Rooms were very cold and hot water took about 5 minutes to warm up. Basically the whole place needs refurbishment. We did not expereience food as the restaurant was not open and then had to leave by an emergency exit next morning as the front door was all locked up. The one working lady staff employee was very helpful.
Food really good ive been there twice in the last 4 months , the only thing that lets them down is the service, really bad at clearing tables etc , asked 4 times for the bill ..gets really annoying.....
Excellent food and staff make my regular visit here something to look forward to.
There's plenty to chose from the menu and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
On behalf of myself, Family and Friends, I would like to Thank Everyone at Carrickfergus Golf Club for hosting the Reception on the 13th November 2024, following the passing of my Brother James (Jimbo) Harvey, 17th February 1970 - 27th October 2024. Everyone and everything... the Staff, the Service (and the food ! ) was how he would of liked it. Thank You all.

My wife and I gigged there for the first time recently and had a fab afternoon. Not a massive crowd, but those there really enjoyed it, and we felt appreciated. Didn't have any food, but 2 points of ice water were served and delivered to us with a smile!
Lovely cosy local pub with friendly sat and a great history and atmosphere.
Hopefully, we'll be back again!
Highly recommend.
