Tried the hash brown special it advertised crispy has browns but they were not crispy and underdone to my taste. I did mention and was told you have to tell them if you want them crispy even though they advertised crispy hash browns ?

Everything was perfect! Never had a bill of £34 in total (£4 steak supp) since early 2000's
Highly recommend
Dropped in on the way round the Glens coast. Great wee pub. Watched the rugby, had a few pints and plate of chips and ribs. Great food and drink. Mix of locals and visitors, everyone in great form. A must if you are in the area.

The food was not very nice and I definitely will not be back again. The owner told me that Mark Allen eats out of there all the time because he was a friend.
Exceptional service and food. Gerald and Clare’s son was a credit to talk too. Warm friendly and at home service. Personal touch means everything. . Thank-you Clare for my extra purchases they will go down a treat in Downpatrick . Merry Xmas and happy new year x
Stopped for lunch which was lovely. Choice of two home made soups and I had a prawn salad. Everything was perfect and it was stepping back in time. Exceptional grounds to explore too.

Unfortunately they were out of most sides and whole chickens, not the staff's fault and they were so polite explaining the situation to customers. The food itself was as always delicious and the chicken gravy is to die for as is the chocolate fondant pudding. Love the unlimited drinks option especially the peach iced tea.
Love love love. My wife had the beautiful pavlova and I had the apple tart. This is the best coffee shop in ballyclare The owner is so friendly and the staff are lovely. Great buzz as well

Was very disappointed when I ordered the Christmas chips ..the description and pictures show that there should be cocktail sausages included but there were definitely none in mine ..not amused
Really, really disappointed with the food , a grumpy man looked at his watch at 8 pm when we asked had he a table for two. The curry had zero flavour. I complained to the waitress and said it was planned, she asked what did that mean. She failed to tell the grumpy man and when I was paying, I thought she made mention I was unhappy with the food but she didn’t bother. I am not a huge Blogger on food but I would definitely avoid this place, it’s a rip-off and the food is brutal.

Excellent (hot) latte and a range of very yummy buns/cakes. A ‘must visit’ if you are passing or finished a walk on the beach. Excellent service and friendly staff (Julianne and Laura 👍)
Myself and my husband stayed at Apparo boutique hotel for the weekend We had a fantastic stay. The room was great and the bed really comfortable.
We had dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic with a really good menu. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
What a disappointing visit.
No cod or pizza available despite being on the menu.
2 glasses of Coke arrived completely flat.
Waited 25 minutes for food when it was quiet.
No baby changing facilities available, asked at reception and was told to use the toilets in the hall, men’s and woman’s, no baby changing in the men’s.
Sanitizer empty at the men’s toilets, also empty on the entrance to Leonas, (now located in the bar area of the hotel, very cold and not what you would expect a tea room to look like).
Very very expensive.
Top hat £2.70???
Food was very poor quality. Frozen chips and goujons from lynas. At the prices they charge this is not acceptable.
