Lovely owner and staff couldn't do enough for you had a lovely quiche with salad and chips delicious and chai latte followed by jam pudding and custard highly recommend

This wee cafe has everything you need from fry’s to salads nothing is a problem to the new owners. They definitely do go above and beyond for your requirements. I love going in and trying the new meals they are doing now . excellent service from all the staff 😊

This place has the best potato bread in Larne, hands down. (spoken from someone who has tested this extensively around the town!) As a local author, I'm always on the hunt for places that are perfect for me to spend an hour or two working without anyone giving me the stink eye for taking up a table. (Before anyone comes at me, yes, I understand they're businesses, and if there's a queue, or a shortage of tables I'm always mindful of the fact, and move along.) However, some places are more conducive and welcoming to writing/working than others. Tucked away off the busy street, Taste has great access to parking, public toilets, it's quite spacious, has an array of tables with plug access, and a great menu, they also accept card as well. I love how their frys come in 5/8/11 pieces, and you have the option to go small if you want, or go bigger if you're hungrier. Their pricing is on point as well, as one of my fave local places to have breakfast has increased their prices by over 20% all at once this week, their prices are now eye-watering, and Taste makes a great fry for a reasonable price. I also had a lovely moment of overhearing someone talk to the new owner of the cafe. He told her that he'd been in before and had her broth, he said that he'd given her feedback that the soup should be made with less barley and more veggies, and this time around that's exactly what she did. He was not only chuffed to have been listened to, but waxed lyrical about how amazing the soup was. The new owner told me she's open to feedback on the food and the cafe as a whole, which added a little something to my day. As he left, the man told me how nice it was to have been listened to by someone who could make an improvement on things, he's not wrong. I've been here a few times over the last couple of months, and I have to say, it's quickly becoming a favourite place to eat, drink a bucket of tea, and get a little work done. Can't wait to try their lunch options!

As my husbands review was removed on Facebook ill put it here. Paid for 8 piece fry and got a 6 piece. When asked where the beans and tomato were i was told it didn't come with it so I ordered beans. I was charged £1 extra. So paid extra on top of what i already paid for. New owners but won't be back. And if you can't accept honest reviews on Facebook then plenty of other businesses in Larne that will take my money.

We recently visited Taste Coffee and Restaurant in Larne, and it was such a fantastic experience that we completely forgot to take pictures! Thankfully, I found some on their Facebook page, but they hardly do justice to how great this place is. The food was incredible, with so many delicious options to choose from. Everything we tried was bursting with flavor, and the chips and shakes were an absolute must-try! The service was super fast, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. A special shoutout to Joanne, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. If you’re in Larne and looking for the best cafe in town, Taste is a must-visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Taste Coffee in Larne located in Murrayfield, and I must say, it's a standout spot! With complete Countryside vibes From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. They proudly shared that their green beans coffee is locally sourced, and you can really taste the difference in each sip. The coffee was expertly crafted—rich, smooth, and packed with flavor. We also indulged in some of their pastries and chips, and it was "yumm yumm yumm" all the way! Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. If you're in Larne, this is hands down the best cafe around. Highly recommend stopping by for a real coffee treat!

Great clean place to eat with great tunes in the background, friendly staff plus plenty on the menu for all tastes! I would seriously recommend their sandwiches, best you'll taste, especially their egg and onion which I had with a nice cuppa whilst enjoying using the free WiFi.

To my way of thinking this is the best cafe in Larne, a country mile ahead if the rest, and they are pretty good. The lady that runs it , Joanne I think( apologies if I got it wrong) is very friendly always a smile and very helpful, the food is excellent, their Ulster fry is AMAZING!!. If you are in Larne and hungry, then try here, you'll find them in the Murrayfield centre opposite the tourist office

Had a fantastic meal here. Steak in gravy, plus peas, carrots, chips. It was a wonderful meal. £9.80. The people there were cheerful and attentive. Tiled floor, tables well spaced out, a deceptively big place once you're inside, but with little divider walls so you get a sense of intimacy. There's no step at the door, just flat floors to the arcade outside. I didn't notice that until a wheelchair user came in to dine. It was a hot summer day but fans on the ceiling provided welcome air conditioning. Lots of menu choices. You could grab a sandwich, bag of crisps and a tin (of drink) for £4.95 as a carry-out if you have no time to sit.

Great wee cafe lovely food and staff very clean

Little left shortly after lunch time. Always get food from the pensioners menu which had got expensive. Eight pounds for two bowls of soup is in my mind is expensive and it had to be heated in a microwave. Make a pot full for that price.

A lovely wee cafe and food really good. Would have given 5 stars if the service hadn't been just a tad slow. The staff were friendly and apologetic but one more staff member would have made such a difference!

Had a brilliant breakfast from Taste! This was a take out treat for my work colleagues, it was great being able to pre-order and have the food sitting ready, nice and warm without having to wait. All the team thoroughly enjoyed it and there clean plates all round round!

Portions were small but tasty and there were plenty of choices. The place was very clean. The service wasn't bad but we felt as though they couldn't wait to get us out even though they didn't close for 30mins.

My mother and grandmother have been coming to this place for years every time they are in larne this is the first place they come too. They always love the food and the staff have always been great. However today after returning 2 soups because they didnt taste right the girl decided to make a big scene out of it in front of everyone and said there is nothing wrong with it. This really affected my grandmother there was no need for it. If there was also nothing wrong with the soup then why take it out of service for everyone else? Very Dissapointed.

First class grub first class staff

Anytime I'm in Larne I like to treat myself to their stew which is always good. I asked for a cup of tea and was asked if I wanted milk I said yes and the tea was made with the milk already in it, I didn't like that it was too much milk for my liking would have preferred a small jug of milk that I could've had added the right amount to my liking. The only do cash only, had wanted some buns to take away with me also but couldn't as didn't have enough cash on me. It doesn't change, the look of the place, the food or staff but I like that, staff are friendly and the stew is awesome. They don't have a WC but there are public ones outside across the road.
