Aroma Coffee House in Larne

Starting my morning at Aroma was an absolute delight! The quality of the coffee was exceptional, delivering the perfect kick-start to my day. The atmosphere was cosy, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious brews and delightful service!

They are not very good in clearing tables after customers. Before I asked to clear table we were waiting for 17 minutes. It wasn’t first time…

Best coffee in the town. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Ordered a hot chocolate with pumpkin spice, a decaf tea, a slice of carrot cake, and a waffle with chocolate ice cream. All delicious!

Sign says cafe - unfortunately that’s rather misleading. If you just want a coffee or ice cream, fine. Myself and a friend were looking for somewhere for lunch in Larne - nothing fancy, even soup or a fresh sandwich. Disappointing that the only sandwiches are pre-packaged and bought in from a chain that supplies garages/convenience shops etc. nothing else but a sausage roll. Plenty of traybakes. I’ve never known a cafe/restaurant to not prepare any hot food at all. Two ladies at next table had a sausage roll each- literally that, no side salad or garnish. Appalling for this day and age. I don’t know how the cafes in Larne stay open - probably because the three existent on the Main Street are as bad as each other and people have no other choice . God help any tourists looking for a nice lunch or meal - where do they go in Larne?

I lived in Larne for some time and remember I had been to this nice coffee shop one day where I ate a lip-smacking muffin. After some time, I'm happy to find that the quality hasn't subdued a bit and muffins and other savouries taste as good as they used to

Stopped by for a coffee, it looks like it's modelled on a cafe Nero but with much better and hotter coffee. It was nice to see how busy it was while we were there.

Lovely coffee. The staff tho, very unwelcoming. Not a single greeting, even tho all three girls saw us come in. Tables dirty, ugly atmosphere. Will deffo not be back. Basic costumer service is not hard girls and I do the same job as you, if you have a bad day don’t take it out on the customers that pay your wages.

Always go in here when I’m in the town and I have to say, from the selection of beautiful tray ales to the unbelievable coffee, this place is a must in the town, beautiful atmosphere and a great group of staff, recommend it highly

Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff. I had an Oat latte with a shot of hazelnut and the jam coconut sponge (gluten and milk free) it was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Very welcoming staff, great banter. Table was cleaned immediately, the food was served in minutes. Absolutely 100% reccommend it. Would definitely come again.

Awesome cafe to visit right on the main street. I often would get a latte takeaway and it was always very quick, there's a wee takeaway sitting area right at the front door for you to wait at once you've placed your order so you're not standing around like a clampet. Yeah got recommended a white chocolate latte once, unreal.. I told a few friends about it and it's now their favourite too. Honeycomb is good too, oh and vanilla of course. The spicy sausage roll is great, stay away from the vegan sausage roll though 😅 Thank you to the Aroma team for keeping me awake all these years. 👍

Terribly wet, cold afternoon in Larne for two guys visiting down from Carrick, good warm feeling and atmospheres about the cafe with good service from the girls working in the cafe, our server in particular was very nice

Hot chocolate was lovely. But they managed to deliver the wrong bun so as I didn't like it I took it home and put it in bin. Well I was with friends and didn't want to go and complain.

Went into to get a simple takeaway coffee. 3 people behind the till, no greetings. Just them chatting amongst themselves. Card machine wasn't working - no apologies. Very unfriendly staff. Ended up walking out. Won't be back.

We visited Aroma whilst on a house hunting trip. The staff there were excellent and the food and drinks were of a very high quality. We felt very welcome. We look forward to this being our local coffee shop.

Good service and with outside seating and quiet upstairs this is a good place to sit a work while enjoying a good cuppa

🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♀️ Where was I today 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♀️ What is your go to hot drink beverage 🤔 I ❤️ 🍵 I stopped drinking tea at home and at work at the start of this year because after around 12 cups 🍵🍵 adding two sugars and full milk daily the waistline needed attention but you do need a treat once in a while don't you 🤷‍♀️🤔 I am an occasional mystery shopper for companies and also do product reviews so why not be a mystery tea drinker 🤔🍵 I decided to treat myself every Saturday & Sunday to a cuppa in different restaurants, cafés & drink establishments and review the visit afterwards. For my second visit on Sunday I called in at Aroma Coffee House Larne I love the colour scheme they have going inside and out, matching the logo and everything. There is seating downstairs and upstairs with some comfy intimate chairs if you are wanting a chinwag with the other half or friend these are ideal. A sanitiser station is available at the front and you literally get the red carpet treatment going up to the counter. Another added feature is a waiting area for ones waiting on a takeaway.Great idea 👏 A very clean establishment and good atmosphere. Fab selection of hot & cold drinks, Morelli Ice-cream , tray bakes, sandwiches, wraps, sausage rolls, scones and a new gluten free selection. One to one service as you pay at the till and they bring it down to you. Really great to see them supporting local artist Michelle Montgomery Photography with a selection of her work on the walls. 🏷️£1.95 for a pot of tea that I got two cups out of. I would give them a ❤❤❤❤ out of 5 because there's an unsightly black bin in the middle as soon as you come in to dispose of napkins (I know this is so the staff don't need to touch but could be more discreet or be placed elsewhere) the staff unfortunately plugged in the hoover beside my table, opened the door and hoovered the rugs at the front. I was freezing 🥶

For my second place being a Mystery Tea Drinker I called in at the Aroma Coffee house on Larne, Main Street. Lovely coffee, staff are lovely, nice outdoor seating area to the back and seating upstairs. They do a great decaf oatmilk latte.

Aroma Coffee House is actually a regular spot for me, so I was surprised to find out that I have never given it a review before so here it is. There are alot of cafes in Larne Town Centre but if you want good coffee I can only recommend Aroma Coffee House because to be honest that's what they are all about. They have a nice compfy interior and there is an upstairs when the downstairs area is busy. I would personally love to see them invest in more of a range of coffee blends in the near future. They also do sandwiches, sausage rolls and a range of tray bakes as well but as I said before it is all about the coffee in this local establishment.

A great little coffee house on Larne Main Street. It serves, tea, coffee, scones, tray bakes, biscuits and ice cream. Very nice for that type of food. Smoothies and other soft drinks available. You get a good view of Larne Main Street. Also does takeaway drinks and food. Worth a visit for a snack.

We discovered this lovely cafe by chance and were glad we did! Genuinely friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of dishes on the menu with something to suit everyone. The food was fresh with good quality ingredients. Easy to park outside. Thank you from four hungry walkers!

Service slow from staff coffee not warm enough drank in minutes. Place looks nice outside and in yet doesn't feel warm lacks atmosphere and vibrancy. Too quiet, other coffee shops have more atmosphere where you would like to stay longer.

After travelling from Newtownards to larne for a run we decided to call in for a coffee and scones. You made your order and pay at the till. A waitress came down to clear the table and santize it. A short time later our coffee and scones came. Coffee excellent. Will call again if in the area

My wife and I got a baguette between us and 2 buns. Food was excellent and the staff were superb could not be anymore helpfull. Am not in Larne often but this will be my coffee stop every time we are here. So clean and spacious Fully recommend it to anyone!!!

We regularly call in here for coffee because of the friendly staff and the good quality coffee.

Drinks are great, staff are friendly, food is great also have free wifi and are always open late - over all good experience but found that it was a little over priced .

They have an extensive range of choice for drinks; both hot and cold. You really will be able to find the drink for you. With a huge range of milkshakes for children as well. Only downfall is their pricing, can be expensive. Although this is the place for any drink you could think of. Would highly recommend!

Aroma is the finest example of an independent coffee house. The first noticeable positive was the manner of the staff, especially Olivia and Paige, nothing was too much trouble and they made time for all customers young and old while getting on with their duties. The staff also had a great rapport with each other.Aroma isn't just a coffee shop, it's a combination of a great range of food, moreish coffee and genuinely hard working, friendly staff.My visit exceeded my expectations and the ambience was enhanced especially by the customer service which would put any major chain to shame.

Fantastic ristretto coffee and delicious plain scone with jam and cream. My daughter had chocolate pudding and a healthy smoothie. Great people watching on to the Main Street from the front tables. Very enjoyable afternoon snack. The coffee really does have a wonderful aroma, so the place is well named.

I am a regular customer of this cafe and, what can I say; the service, value, and selection of food and drinks on offer are absolutely top notch. Every single one of the staff are polite, helpful, courteous, and go that extra mile to ensure everyone has a pleasant and enjoyable time in the cafe. I would firmly disagree with anyone saying any of the staff are letting the side down, as in my 2 years of being a daily customer, I have had no bad experiences or disappointments. The service has been super! This cafe is by far the best in the town, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone as the place to go for everything from a quick cup of tea on the go, to a sit down lunch.Well done Sharon, you've got a great team working for you, keep up the good work.

We arrived in Draperstown and were glad to find Aroma opened as we were in need of some breakfast. The food was excellent and the Americano was well made. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Coffee tastes great and is a great cafe, but feel it is a bit overpriced

Just visited here for lattes and scones. Both were delicious. Greeted by two lovely young ladies at the counter. Cleanliness and hygiene standard seemed very high. Just passing through but will definitely call again if in the area.

Brilliant food and coffee in relaxing atmosphere

Coffee was always good but since they have started using Ristretto brand (roasted in Banbridge, Co Down) it is nothing short of fantastic. Go for a double espresso at £2.10 and savour the 1cm thick crema. Isn't this what life's all about.

Sadly, we will NEVER forget our last visit. There was a female customer who was obviously unwell and she had the vilest cough anyone could imagine. SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER SUITED TO A HOSPITAL BED than any café. She should NEVER have been permitted to stay in an establishment or environment serving food and drink to the public, potentially spreading God alone knows what infection, especially to those highly susceptible to ANY infection. I CAN HEAR IT NOW. WHY DIDN'T YOU LEAVE THEN IF IT WAS THAT BAD? Having just spent £10, we were not about to waste what we had purchased, and at the time we were served, the woman was not yet in the café. A member of staff should have politely asked the woman to vacate the café and refunded her. There is NO WAY on this earth that the members of staff who were on duty that day, could EVER FORGET the disgusting noise being created by this woman, and the unpleasant facial expressions of certain members of staff, equally showed their disgust. The woman made it even worse by her extreme vocal running commentary. It was repulsive!!! To say that it was absolutely disgusting that customers had to sit and listen to this woman virtually vomiting, because of her extremely congested chest, would be the biggest understatement. Sadly we shall not be returning after this event. THE STAFF >>MUST<< CONSIDER THE WELFARE OF THEIR CLIENTÈLE. People, if you're KNOWINGLY sick, DO NOT SPREAD YOUR INFECTION TO OTHERS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW THE REPERCUSSIONS IT COULD CAUSE TO THOSE WHO ARE OLDER AND TO ANY WHO ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO INFECTION.

Food nice here but they have an offer of sandwich or baguette and tea or coffee and it's supposed to start at 12 and I went in at 12.10 and they didn't have any, there's i way they wee all taken by then as a friend had said it happens regularly.
