Sensational burgers! Will def be getting the k-pop burger again

Really good food, service was pleasant and fast.

I was really looking forward to this but was very disappointed when it arrived. Because it took over 1hr30 to arrive the burger and chicken wings were soggy and was not enjoyable.

Still haven’t got my food I ordered it at half six it’s near half 8 absolutely disgusted

Great spot for food, fantastic not overcomplicated menu, something there for everybody.

Booked a table to try the Granny Hawker Sunday roast menu. We had turkey and ham and roast beef. Food was delicious, service excellent and reasonably priced. You had to climb the Yorkshire pudding. I shall return to tackle the burgers!

Was so looking forward to trying this. Unfortunately, service was very, very slow (although staff very pleasant), ordered a meal with skin on fries, they arrived normal fries, mentioned this to three different servers, each one just laughed it off. If you run out of something - tell your customers so they have the choice of ordering something else.

Food was very nice, tasty and very filling. Service was just ok, Only bad point is I ordered the hawker special cocktail which was a waste of money as my glass was only half filled and the drink was bland and could not taste any alcohol in it, I complained to be told it's out of a machine already made up, so it wasn't fresh.

I rang this premises as I’ve heard that it serves great food … unfortunately I did not get a chance to try anything.. I am not a tech person and do not download apps for food deliveries as in past I’ve been scammed of money. I simply rang this establishment to ask if I could get a delivery order over the phone ( like most establishments do even if they are on delivery apps) the young girl who answered the phone was so polite and tried to help by saying she thought they could but I could hear her superior in background , in no uncertain terms, tell her to tell me ( in a very gruff and rude manner) that NO I would not be allowed a phone order and couldn’t understand my problem with doing it via an app! The young girl was very polite and tried to disguise this as saying they were very busy , which I am sure they were, but at that time they could not take my order. I wish I’d asked her name as she was extremely polite and did try to help. However the superior obviously did not care to make money or be more helpful .. I doubt I will ever be trying this place now as a result of one rude member of staff .. I was also going to sample quite a few things from the menu as well but now I don’t see this ever happening.. a shame but I’m not the one missing out financially… Very disappointed 18:26 mon 24 June

The food was absolutely delicious! I would 100% order from them again. The vegetables were fresh, not frozen! And they were nice enough to let me know that they had run out of vegetables, hence the small, but tasty amount. The mashed potatoes were so soft, and buttery. The braised beef was super tasty.

Poor food quality. 30 mins late. Missing items which when they sent round said missing items, they were also incorrect. Grossly overpriced food for quality received. Avoid like the plague.

I don’t often leave reviews for restaurants cos I’m not really a “foodie “. I just like authentic healthy food without getting ripped off for it . I’ve been to Japan among many other countries, and the Japanese version of ramen was my favourite dish . This place has replicated it perfectly and for a price of only £10 . I loved it and will be going back for the Monday deal whenever I get the chance again .

I had lunch here today with my daughter and sister. We've been meaning to try it for some time, and it didn't disappoint. Great vibes, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and incredible food. Thank you so much for bringing a much needed new venue into Carrick and for making it such a success.

Place is bloody gorgeous, each of us got something different and we were well impressed, great service and great atmosphere. Good pints aswell!!

Should be a no parking sign across the front as my partner is a wheelchair user and three cars completely blocked our access on getting into the restaurant. Thankfully a man saw and moved his car but totally unacceptable. Food was disappointing. Was at least a good price despite the portion sizes being very small, the steak having no seasoning/flavour and the Malteser milkshake just tasted of milk. Also thought it was weird they only cook steak "pink" or "not pink"? Awkward atmosphere bc the restaurant is so small, everyone kept looking round at each other and could hear every word. Not relaxing at all. Service as good, our waitress was lovely. Was excited about the hype on socials but probably won't be back

Working our way through the menu since this awesome place arrived in Carrickfergus, amazing flavours every time.

Have just been for a meal and I must admit it was very tasty indeed although the portion sizes are adequate but could be a little larger. I ordered a half rack of ribs and it was only 4 small ribs and 5 chicken wings.

Got Granny Hawker Sunday dinners 3 course £20 was absolutely delicious huge portions great value. Food dining in or delivery is always on point and flavours are delicious My favourite place to eat in Carrick 😊

First time here, Sunday menu is slightly reduced from the normal menu but still plenty of variety on offer! Food was absolutely outstanding, service was fantastic and the atmosphere had a relaxed ambience. Thoroughly recommended and we will definitely be back! Thanks guys

Came down from North Belfast to try the vegan ramen and I can truly say I would 11/10 recommend. It was BURSTING with flavour and better than most Asian restaurants I’ve been in. Can’t wait to come back here!!

Local with a family atmosphere which is located more or less halfway between the Carrickfergus railway station and the castle overlooking the bay (the main attraction of the town). I had lunch around 2.30pm and I had two menus available: the Sunday "grandmother's" one, with the possibility of choosing two or three dishes at fixed prices, and the "street food" one. I opted for the smash burger offered in the second menu and found it to be of excellent quality and just the right amount of substance. The accompanying beer, “Cobra” is very good (there is no Guinness). As in Belfast, here too the staff were professional and very friendly!

Simply brilliant food and friendly staff. Can not be recommended highly enough. The roast beef was the best I ever had.

A bit disappointed after seeing other people's posts. I had the loaded beef fries with a portion of nachos. My daughter had the ramen noodles. The noodles didn't have the balance of veg too noodles but I was told it was tasty. The nachos were very disappointing with little to no cheese and sweetcorn 🤔. The loaded fries didn't do it at all, almost as if the beef had been finally shredded within an inch of it's life. We both had water and it came to £45 or maybe £43 but certainly not cheap for what we got.

If an Asian woman ordered the ramen from here, they'd be overly disappointed. The noodles were stuck to the bottom and bell peppers were soaked in some sort of sweet and bitter broth.

Quite a small place so when theres a large crowd in, it's not optimal in terms of talking to who you're with But literally nothing else to say negatively. Foods delicious and portions are generous. I scoffed at my wife getting dirty fries as an entire meal judging by past restaurants but boy was I wrong, it was bigger than my chips and burger! Regardless though, Korean BBQ Burger is fantastic Battered Oreos and white choccy ice cream. Chefs kiss! Don't live in Carrick anymore but having something like this when I was would have been great. Better late than never!

When we booked not told that they there are now licenced so brought are own wine which we couldn't drink. They should of phoned us to say that they now have a licence. No wine list with a poor selection. Wine you could of bought in tesco. Food was nice nothing out of the ordinary.

It was my 60th birthday and I went with a friend. Having heard good reviews the food lived up to our expectations and more. So many flavours in the food. Had the lamb, pil pil and chicken wings. Staff amazing. Brought cake out with candles. Will be back soon

First time trying here for lunch with a friend. We both had the prawns and extra sides of Asian fries and garlic and chilli cubes. The food was lovely with plenty of flavour. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely gonna be one of my new fave places in Carrickfergus.

Me and the wife tried here tonight for the 1st time after seeing some great reviews. Delighted we give it a try as food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced with excellent portions. Also great service from the table staff. Will most definitely be back.

Amazing food and atmosphere! I had the chicken lickin and my husband the chunky monkey! Both were delicious! Lovely staff who were very attentive. We also had two young children with us and the restaurant caters brilliantly for them. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Great menu, Great service highly recommend

We ordered a takeaway here tonight after hearing some rave reviews. However it was extremely disappointing. The prawns pil pil came in what can be described as a sweet chilli sauce - not like other reviews seen here or elsewhere. The loaded duck fries had a drizzle of hoi sin sauce, that was it. Had it had more duck and both sauces it would have been a great dish! Chicken burger was nice. Garlic fries had no taste of garlic whatsoever, more coriander. Unfortunately will not be in a hurry to return as takeaway is obviously very different to sit in despite prices being the same.

Been to Streethawker now 5 times ,haven't been disappointed once , tried all different dishes and all are amazing, highly recommend this place 😁

Been meaning for a long time to try out Street Hawker but managed to get down last night and it did not disappoint, if anything it exceeded my expectations. Staff were amazing from start to finish, their banter was next level. All the food was outstanding but the winner for was me was the chicken lickin. Forgot to take pics of the deserts as we just got stuck in when in was placed in front of us. Will 💯 being going back before I head back to Manchester as there is still so much I want to try. If you haven’t been! Why the hell not? Get yourselves down and join the revolution 💙

Couldn't be happier to see somewhere like this in Carrick. I've only tried one dish so far, the lamb, it was excellent. The menu looks amazing, looking forward to trying the rest of it. Staff were super helpful and friendly, with plenty of people working. Fantastic food, brilliant staff, highly recommended.

If you haven't tried Street Hawker you're missing out! I've tried here a few times for delivery and the quality has never declined. The food has always came roasting hot and delicious! It's what Carrick needed, a takeaway that does good, home cooked food. 10/10

Fantastic quality at a fair price, service was great and friendly. Felt a good vibe of the place has a nice and cozy decoration without feeling too overdecorated, definitely would recommend as I believe the food is a better quality at a competitive price than anywhere else in carrick.

The food is the best I had in belfast. The Vibe is perfect to either have something to eat or just a pint. Would definitely come here again.👍🏻

Best roast beef I've ever had! Was at streethawker for Sunday lunch with alot of friends, we all had the roast beef and it didn't disappoint!! Could literally cut the beef with a spoon! Peppersauce wasn't very peppery saucy lol but was beautiful nonetheless. 4 stars on service because the waiting time was over an hour and the waitress was a tad argumentative but that being said we were a very large group and abit of confusion/waiting times are expected

Just got takeaway from here - inventive and delicious. Nothing too heavy either, the best sort of comfort food. Would highly recommend the pork loaded fries.

I've been looking forward to tasting there food as it looked delicious on tiktok , but just eat wouldn't deliver as to far away, so drove over with my mouth watering and they dont do their street food menu on a Sunday until after 5pm came away gutted as i didn't see anything about a different menu on a Sunday on the website 😭

got a delivery order and arrived in about 20 mins 👍 everything was really tasty and so good. Loved the burger and the wings and the chip with chicken thighs was gorgeous although could do with some sauce. The chips themselves were good quality and really crispy. It was our first order and we were really happy with the quality of everything. Will def order again

Chicken korean burger looked good but was inedible because of thick doughy batter surrounding all the meat. Despite looking full of flavour in the picture it was so bland and there was nothing korean about it as all we could taste was curry power in the doughy batter. We bought 3 cans to make up the price and get 15% off and 1 of them was missing. It was £5 for ‘asian salt fries’ which looked like a half portion of frozen fries with way too much salt. Garlic cubes soggy and cold and tasted like oil. Me and my husband are so angry at wasting our money on this and are requesting a refund.

This place doesn't look too preposessing from the outside (its half of the pub My Lady's Inn) but its definitely worth a visit. The food is lovely, really flavourful and beautifully cooked, and great value. The staff are great too-very friendly and efficient.

Excellent quality at crazy cheap prices. Well worth popping in, you won't be disappointed.
