Stopped to grab a quick sandwich and coffee for lunch ……bread, while not exactly stale, was certainly not fresh, it was quite hard. I was in a hurry and neither wanted to make a fuss nor had the time to complain so I dot know how it would have been dealt with

Yum!!!! Honestly, sometimes I can be hard to please when it comes to food, but this place!!! I can’t wait to have an excuse to come back! 8 of us in total, all very VERY happy with the lunch! My kids never clear a plate but today was different! If you are visiting carrick, try here… and the lasagna!!

Stopped in Carrickfergus for lunch and a wander around as we drove up the coast on holiday. We were recommended Ollies by a local and took a wander up. We had toasties, a childrens meal and a roll, plus cakes, and all absolutely delicious! Even sat outside enjoying the sun. Definitely recommend.

We travel from Belfast to Ollie's because their salads are so fresh, plenty of choice and staff are so friendly and attentive.

I go to Ollies regularly and the food never disappoints. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is friendly. Ollies is the nicest cafe in town.

Called in today ordered soup and wheaten bread.When the waitress brought my order the two slices of wheaten had mould on them.The waitress brought two more slices but at no time did I get an apology.Will not be back.

Ordered 4 afternoon teas. Have to say they were absolutely delicious. A lovely treat with the most beautiful selection of sandwiches scones fresh cream and jam. Included were chocolate strawberries. Staff so friendly and helpful. Try this place u will not be disappointed.

I was at ollies cafe today with friend and I was very disappointed that they had not a menu for people with gluten free. The staff was very good but lack gluten free option.

I thought this was going to be a good review, because the staff were really friendly and good at their jobs, and the food and coffee were fine. But unfortunately half an hour before we left, a man turned up and brought the two figures Laurel and Hardy in, leaving the door open. Well I can understand, he had both hands full. But he then went in and out twice, the last time just leaving the door open and didn't come in again at all, leaving the door wide open to the 8° chill outside, the room is a fairly small one, so it really penetrated. We got up to go as it was too cold to stay. I asked this man when I got outside, are you the owner? He said he was, I explained that by just leaving the door open wide had spoilt our, and no doubt other customers experience. He said 'when?' I said, ten minutes ago and before. He just shrugged, and plainly couldn't care less. What an unpleasant character! My husband and I couldn't believe his attitude! As we walked away we could hear him badmouthing us to his staff!! If you care to check, the massive majority of my reviews are extremely positive..but we'll not be back to Ollies while he's the owner.

great choice of menu, good old irish fry served, most popular. I go in for coffee and cake usually. If you are a fan of Laurel and Hardy this is great as they have lot of artefacts of the pair

Want a good fry then Ollie’s is the place to go. Those girls know how to cook a fry. You ask for soft fried eggs - and that is exactly what you get. Even their scones are bliss.

From reading some reviews I expected much better from Ollies. Unfortunately our food didn't quite 'hit the spot' and left us a little underwhelmed, especially for the price we paid. Can't however fault the staff who seemed quite friendly.

Three of us were in Ollies this morning and got tea and toasties, choice of fillings and made in front off you. Excellent finished off with Cherry & Coconut scones with butter & jam. We will be back for more.

The quality of food is exceptional, value for money for all food is amazing. The food caters for all needs. Totally recommend Ollies for breafast, lunch and afternoon, although lunches are very busy

We have visited this cafe on a number of occasions for either breakfast or lunch and would definitely recommend a visit! Small cafe that is always busy which in itself speaks volumes. Staff are friendly and efficient

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, and the coffee was delicious! We got a couple of all-day breakfasts, which were ready in just a few minutes and were tasty and fresh. Lovely place, worth a visit!

The best little cafe in Carrick. My mum loves the place and so do I. Their all day breakfasts are legendary, I went there on Thursday when I was over visiting my Mum and had the big breakfast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, pancake, soda bread, potato bread, mushrooms, tomato and fried egg, plus large coffee all for £4.75, great food and a great price.

Lovely little cafe, serves all sorts of nice food for breakfast and lunch. Staff are very nice and pleasant. Love all of the laurell and hardy bits and pieces they have around the place

A change of venue for 5 retired gents on a monthly outing. We have visited most of the local venues for breakfast this past number of years and Ollies is about middle of the list. Whilst the fry's are certainly inexpensive , they miss out on what I would say are necessary items such as black pudding. OK.

Ollie's in Carrickfergus has very good, pleasant service and excellent food.

What is left to be said. A great cafe. Pavlova to die for and a really good quality cup of proper coffee. The fry is great value. Going to try a few more items on the menu.

Popped in here for a coffee with my daughter . It's in a shopping mall and you always can find a comfy seat ! The local and national newspapers are available to read ! There is a good variety of home made soups stews and sandwiches made to your specifications too!! Love this wee gem of a place ! Nice staff too !!

What a great breakfast, lovely coffee too. Two sausage two bacon one egg beans potato scone soda bread and a pancake. All for £4.50. It's the dogs!

Popped into this place one day mid-morning. Really excellent fruit scone and good coffee for £1.95. Still wondering if I was undercharged!

Have been going here for some time now, mainly for breakfast. They do a superb bacon and egg bap! They cook it the way you want it. I always ask for my bacon well done! It's never pricey for any food and it's always of a high standard. The staff are fantastic too!

Had a lovely little breakfast here today, it was my first visit to ollies but will not be my last! Prices are very reasonable, staff are very friendly and efficient and there is a great selection available for breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee, snacks and traybakes etc...

Midweek visit to the bustling metropolis of Carrick and in need of sustenance. We had approached from a westerly direction ie along West Street and the Kepp would have had our custom had it not decided to be closed. We had been to Ollies before but now it has ,moved to the otherside of MArket place to bigger and brighter premises.
