Had a lovely strawberry and banana pancake in here this morning and it was sooo good, very big portion served by a lovely lady who was warm and welcoming ❤️

Amazing little cafe, dog friendly and they do the best bacon butties you will find anywhere. Staff are great as well. Great variety of treats.

Great little coffee shop next to the benone strand. Situated in a great area, staff are always friendly and food and cakes are a must if you come here.

Great strong hot coffee, very tasty thick milkshakes (American style with ice cream). Sausage roll flaky crust, but sausage had no flavour. Scones were nice. The muffin was very nice. Smiley friendly service, very reasonable prices. Straight across from the beach. Parking could be an issue. Worth a visit.

First time dropping by Temple Cove and it was lovely to meet the team, the carrot cake was outstanding - well done. Coffees were too hot, so the milk had gone flat in the cappuccino unfortunately but this won’t stop us visiting again.

Absolutely fantastic coffee shop, food is really good, for me the service was outstanding today, the dark haired waitress is so friendly and went out of her way to accommodate me even though she was extremely busy, can't recommend highly enough, thank you to all the girls who work here.🫂

We've been there with our small child. The owner, she was so lovely with him. It was a really nice stay after watching the temple to warm up again.

Wonderful friendly staff. Coffee was so good, honestly the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Tray bake was delicious. Delighted that it’s very dog friendly. My new puppy enjoyed the attention she got. We definitely will be back again soon.

Fantastic lunch stop for a family of four. So much choice, super-friendly service and impeccably clean toilets. Will definitely come again.

I stopped here for coffee a couple of days ago, and I can honestly say it's a hidden gem - the service was wonderful and friendly, the coffee fantastic, and the outdoor seating area is a great place to chill. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Called in today after a slow trek around Mussenden due my knee injury! Delighted to find they had gluten free chocolate brownie and it was amazing 👏 lovely, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Had lunch?? The ham sandwich consisted of cheap processed ham and the sausage roll was like one you would buy in a supermarket and was heated up in a microwave. Overall we found it disappointing. No vegan options

Been a few times in the hope the food would be better. It hasn't ever got better. Today one of the girls working, was out having a smoke break. Came in and lifted the next customers food with her hands. Not washed. There is food hygiene certificates.. and she was not complying with it. Will not be back.

The two young women working at this shop deserve extra praise. They were very busy with many customers, yet they were gracious, efficient, and solicitous. They went the extra mild and made our brief stop there delightfully memorable.

Visited for lunch with our two dogs, completely dog friendly. Decided to sit outside in the sheltered seating, had some fantastic toasties and baps, finished off with a couple lovely buns. Staff were pleasant, more than helpful. The highlight was when one of the staff brought our dogs a sliced up sausage as a treat, absolutely class. Great place for lunch, and we’ll be back!

Staff are nice, friendly and accomodating but it's very expensive. I can get the same prices at Costa 😬

I had the misfortune of losing a camera in the car park across the street and a kind person handed it in to Temple Cove. When we called, they were fantastic and asked for a description of both the camera and lens to verify it got back to the right hands. I could not be more thankful to the kind and friendly people working here. While we were here, we also had some coffee and lemon meringue, both very high quality and if I am ever in mussenden again, I would return without question.

Had stopped for a view of the scenery and decided to get a bite to eat which was a gorgeous breakfast bap for three of us and excellent service and value for money.

Paninis okay, instant coffee/mocha, basically something you could whip up at home in 2 mins. Outdoor seating is poor, fixed bench much too far away from the table so difficult to eat. Good location for the beach though!

It's a tiny beautiful café at Downhill, close to Musenden temple. Lot of dessert options, ice creams made from local Diary farm. A nice place to hang out with your loved ones and the staff was very helpful in suggesting food options.

Fantastic cafe. The lady working couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend taking a slice of 15 home with you. The kids loved the milkshakes, with parking and the beach opposite its a most stop. It was very reasonably priced and she even made a coconut hot choc for us.

Called in today as nothing seems to open on. Monday up here. What a breath of fresh air! Literally. The most friendly little eatery, with smudgens of home made cakes that even had that Savoury tooth sneaking some coffee cake into my take away order. The owner ( I think ) is the most helpful and spontaneous proprietor , and I truly could have sat all day chatting to him about our economy and the challenges. It’s dog friendly and sits at the hollow of what is now my favourite part of the North coast ,Downhill. These are the businesses we need to support. Please check their Croque Monsieur… 👌🏻..

Amazing cheese and ham toastie, one of the best I've had! The two girls working were so friendly also and very helpful about walks we could do. Would 100% recommend and we will def be visiting again!

Went for a long walk and then relaxed outside with the dogs. Very, very friendly staff and provided water for the dogs too.

Staff are lovely. Refreshingly hot drinks. Coffee is lovely and strong, great taste. Definitely worth popping in for something. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent. Great coffee shop in beautiful area, with sit in option, or sit out under cover. Very friendly and helpful staff, and provision for some gluten free products. Dog friendly too. My wife and I highly recommend it as a place to meet friends in the area.

We called into Temple Cove Coffee Bar with our pup just on passing and all three of us received a really warm welcome. The staff were super friendly and helpful and there was a great range of snacks on offer. The service was great and food was of great quality and very tasty. We were able to sit outside under a shelter and it was a great spot for just watching the world go by! We will definitely come again!

Our coffee's were lively and the outside space great but there was an overpowering smell of damp in the building itself which filtered outside and spoilt my desire to return.

Genuinely the warmest welcome I have received in hospitality for 18 months. Lovely welcoming staff, instantly warm and friendly. The place is a little hidden gem. I had the best toasted sandwich I’ve eaten in a long time. I was even able to get a few sausages for my dog who was waiting in the car!!!

I went here and had to pour the coffee out the car window.disgusting and would never compare with proper local coffee shops in the north coast area.i was shocked at the poor hygiene of a staff member.would never recommend this place to anyone.my advice to anyone looking a decent cuppa please drive past this place.

Lovely coffee shop and cafe in Downhill with toilet facilities. It serves a great range of hot food, pies, sausage rolls, cakes and ice cream. It's in a perfect location for Downhill beach, Mussenden temple and Downhill demesne. Ideal place to pop into if you've been walking up Binevenagh mountain. There's tables outside.

Lovely to see a local business down here at Downhill Strand for visitors to the beach and walkers.

We were out for a drive and called in. Best hot chocolate and tray bakes we have had in a very long time. The lady serving was amazing and very on top of social distancing with each customer. Will definitely call again. Amazing little find x

Visited this beautiful place a couple of times this week. Scones with jam and clotted cream are absolutely delicious especially with a latte. Prices really good too with covered outdoor seating as well as indoors and a couple of tables completely outside. Staff really friendly and helpful. Totally recommend after a walk on Downhill beach
