5 Corners Guest Inn in Newtownabbey

we were very disapponted, as stayed there previously a few years back. Booked two seperate rooms--one room key was very difficult to open and close-the other did not open at all so had to change room. Rooms were very cold and hot water took about 5 minutes to warm up. Basically the whole place needs refurbishment. We did not expereience food as the restaurant was not open and then had to leave by an emergency exit next morning as the front door was all locked up. The one working lady staff employee was very helpful.

Waited a long time for the food to come down and 1 meal came down cold nothing to write home about very disappointed

Stayed one night with 2 kids, family of 4. Family room had a double and 2 singles. Plenty of room for us. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, extra pillows, shower and bath! Very clean and all we needed. Breakfast was lovely, choice of cooked menu or cereals and Yoghurt etc. Lovely friendly staff on check in and at breakfast, felt very welcome. Would stay again!

A nice little hotel. Not great luxury but a classic hotel where everything you need is available. A comfortable bed, a shower, a toilet and heating. It is possible to eat on site with a restaurant. Classic breakfast but the lady even served pankakes for our son even though it was not on the menu and without incident. THANKS Free parking available

Came here for lunch today in the smaller dining area at the rear of the pub where they serve breakfast and lunch to the locals. Lovely fries and soda with a pot of tea which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great value and tasty. Highly recommended!!!!!

Read the EDIT BELOW. BROTHERS Restaurant upstairs serves great quality food at a very reasonable price. Fantastic high quality home made Ice cream, just even worth a visit for a poke! Clean high quality well priced menu in a comfortable atmosphere. Edit:. Sadly Brothers restaurant is now closed... It was the best thing about this establishment when it comes to food. Now the bar is serving Hot Food.... Well what can I say that is a positive.... It was warm. Ordered Steak Medium. It Came out a bit more than well done.. as was as tough at a new recruits army boot. I'd recommend going on around the corner to the Golf Club and eat there. Oh Brothers Where Art Thou? PS. The downstairs bar toilets and hallway smell like a sewer! We did not stay in the accommodation, so I cannot pass comment on that area.

Actually stopped at the cafe - Take 5 - at the back. Very attentive staff and a great 5 piece fry.

Worst experience, cannot sleep at all. I am writing this review at 03 am because people are literally shouting and chatting outside my window, drunk, and loud. Bed matters isn’t comfortable at all. Bathroom flush lever doesn’t work properly. No shower gel was provided. Wifi doesn’t work. Lights in room don’t work. Bathroom door lock doesn’t work. Pathetic. Worst value for the money. Avoid.

The exterior appearance is a little scary at first. ultimately the interior is rather warm and authentic. The family staff is welcoming and caring. The rooms are very simple but clean. A downside however for the sheets, a little limited.

Great local pub awesome food highly recommend Thursday steak night

30 minutes drive north of Belfast this small hotel was a good location for visiting the city by car. Rooms are warm and beds very comfortable. Staff and owners are warm, friendly and helpful. Substantial and delicious breakfast served. Shower area in bathroom, while functional, looks in need of a refurb.

Food was good but had to wait a while for it

I visit first time I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the support provided by the staff. I forgot to switch off my coach and battery got drained. I was struggling in the morning to start it, however to my surprise staff came for my help and provided all the means to solve the issue. I highly appreciate the service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A truly extraordinary accommodation - very authentic, cool and also a bit trashy. We came here with no expectations and would definitely come back after our stay. 🏡❤️ Very friendly service, great restaurant, quaint pub, good Guinnes and clean rooms. We particularly liked the friendly breakfast service and the diverse guests. Price-performance ratio is also very good. 👍 Thank you for everything!

We had a fantastic Sunday dinner here. The staff were extremely welcoming and the food was delicious.

Great food! Our family of three stayed one night here. The room was ok, but the bathroom was very awkard and the floor was not differentiated from the shower.

Comfortable beds, rooms with parking inside the premises, 15 minutes from the center of Belfas... attentive staff and they help you in every way possible. Typical Irish bar with good food and a variety of beers….

1st time visit as part of a large group. Meals served hot and efficiently fast and the best bit of beef I've ever eaten! Definitely 5 stars 🌟 for food and service!Friendly, amicable, and helpful waitering staff with exceptionally attentive service. A credit to the establishment when so often other venues have rude, slow, and unhelpful staff. A very pleasant 1st visit, and I hope to be back! Credit to the staff on food duties Friday 8th March 2024 at 8pm.

Food and drink is great, service was great. Good night had by all who went for the son in laws birthday. Highly recommended.
