Benn going here for years. Food was great. When I went to pay they had added additional cost. I asked why. The girl said that is a normal charge and the till added it. I explained the item on the menu was £6.50 for goujons and chips. But they charged £6:50 plus £2.50 for a small chip. I had to show her the menu. She said the chips were extra. I had to explain again that it was £6.50 for the meal on the menu which clearly stated goujons AND chips. She said she has always applied the charge that way and that she had been working there for a year. I explained that I had been going there for years. She was extremely rude, uncaring and very wrong. Eventually gave me back what she owed but the rudeness was too much. How many others have had this additional charge, who knows. It's a scam. Will never be back unfortunately

Me & partner decide to go for brunch after reading all the good reviews. The menu was reduced so there was no possibility for me to order pancakes. Overall the food was good, but the service was very slow. It took me over 30 minutes to get a coffee because they were too busy chatting.

I ordered a bag of 80 Titanic tea bags online, and was charged £14 delivery! I immediately emailed them to cancel the order and explained that I was being charged £18 for a pack of 80 teabags. Later that day I received an email from Lucy who told me that they would refund £8, due to the fact that I had made a single item small order rather than order a hamper. I pointed out that since they had not dispatched the item, or had to arrange shipping, and I was not returning an item, they were acting illegally by withholding £10 for doing absolutely nothing! Seems a bit of a scam really. Anyway, I have informed my bank and Ireland’s trading trading standards authority, (NSAI) are now involved, and will be investigating. Advised that they have violated my “right of withdrawal”.

Everytime without fail it takes you about 5-10 minutes to get served even though there’s no one in the restaurant. Service is terrible. May I add, I ordered a burger paid and stood outside (keeping in mind it’s just me in the establishment) when I come in I get asked what I’d like, and I stated I ordered a chicken burger and he’d forgot to put it on. I’ve been 4 times and it’s the same everytime. Wednesday 4th Dec 24.

Lovely place. Wine is excellent. Coffee is very good. The staff are very welcoming. Food is excellent but the menu is inconsistent (never clear if it is a brunch or a lunch menu). Food is great but there is no option to substitute ingredients.

Food was unsatisfactory, the staff was hostile and blatantly rude. The staff threatened to add an additional charge of £10.00 over doubling the price of the frozen yoghurt. Staff also threatened to issue a ban with zero prior warning. There was no visible signage or verbal communication of this store policy. My children were interested in sampling one of the flavours however staff member raised her voice at these young, impressionable children. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, I have visited this establishment many times over the years and have never had this negative of an experience. Perhaps the reason for this hostile and unwelcoming experience was due to the staff member on duty. My 15 year old daughter and 13 year old son were with my daughter's friend who was also 15 years old. I feel as though they were taken advantage of due to their young age. They felt uncomfortable and were left embarrassed from this experience. As they went to the topping section they were stared at, they were rushed and made to feel uncomfortable by this member of staff. This appalling experience occurred between the hours of 5:30-6:00 on the 3rd of August 2024 on the Lisburn Road Belfast. I hope this staff member will be dealt with accordingly and hope to have a better experience in the future.
