Espresso Elements in Belfast

Me & partner decide to go for brunch after reading all the good reviews. The menu was reduced so there was no possibility for me to order pancakes. Overall the food was good, but the service was very slow. It took me over 30 minutes to get a coffee because they were too busy chatting.

I had to go to Belfast’s Lisburn Rd as it’s where the private hospital I had to attend is located. I made an appointment about a week ago and had to wait a week to see my consultant. The covid rules are such that the hospital only wants you in the door 5 minutes before your appointment time so we had time to waste. My wife and I ambled Lisburn Road and spotted this friendly, welcoming place. It had some outside seating and as it was about 14c we decided it’s for us. I was pleased to find 2 sizes of flat white offered as most places including Starbucks only offer one size. I opted for the large and my wife chose breakfast tea with milk (£5.45 total with the coffee @ £3.15). We were invited to sit and the drinks would be brought to us so we did, and they did. Friendly folks. The flat white was tasty and a generous portion. As we sat outside I was reading their advertising screen hanging on the inside of the front facing window and one advert made me laugh (see photo). It was advertising their soup and it said: ‘Foundered’. ‘Try our soup of the day.’ I thought of a tourist reading this. They would have no idea that Foundered means freezing cold. I’m from this statelet and I’ve no idea how it came to be. Like ‘duckie’ is a a big rock. It’s a great wee place.

Great bacon & sausage bap with coffee today. Friendly folks who deserve your support. Easy to find on the Lisburn Road.

Flat whites from here are 10/10 and staff are very friendly, chatty and helpful! After one coffee here I am now a regular.

Love the new refurbished espresso elements. Loads more bright and cleaner. The staff very knowledgeable about coffee. The brownie was prefect and well as the coffee

Lovely coffee shop, extremely attentive and friendly staff, super kind and accommodating to young kids, yet special enough venue for a business meet up. And great flat whites with even better coffee glasses!

Number 1 for taste and unsurpassed quality. Friendly staff . Cosy and uplifting atmosphere . Always feels welcoming which keeps this my favourite coffee shop. When people ask for a recomendation for well made coffee this is where I have directed them towards for many years as I know they will never be disapointed.

I must say this is a hidden gem in Belfast.You tell them how you like your coffee and they will make it for you. The team behind the counter are exceptional. They know how to make coffee. Now, on top of that if you like scones, they have best scones as well. Worth a visit!

Absolutely love coming here for coffee. Staff are very knowledgeable about coffee and what to recommend. They have started to do ciabattas which are lovely and breakfast especially with the sourdough bread. Beautiful. The place is lovely. It's very light and airy. Would defiantly recommend.

Oh dear! One thing going for this place is that it looks freshly refurbished. Not overly pleasant waitress/barista. There wasn't much on offer at 1pm as apparently it was busy and they had run out of scones and other various tray bakes. There was no menu for any coffees so we were unsure what was on offer to drink. Very unusual. Coffees & hot chocolates ordered were Luke warm & we couldn't finish drinking them. Waitress was disinterested so we didn't bother complaining. Overall a pretty disappointing visit & wish I had of went elsewhere

Lukewarm coffee which was more like a latte rather than a flat white...cant really comment on anything else as i never tried the pastries etc

My fiancée and I enjoyed a lovely experience at the Espresso Elements café. An experience we have not had before. The coffee arrived at our table on a wooden tray with sugar on the side with added extras that we wouldn't normally get in other cafés. Espresso Elements made time for us and treated us like we were the only customers in the café. A delight. We recommend highly

I love the iced mochas one of my favourites. The staff are really friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help and advise on new products.

Visited for a quick lunch with family during the week. We shared a panini. It was prepacked and was decent tasting but have definitely had much better elsewhere!
