The best restaurants in Northern Ireland

I was going to Jade House going on ten years been an owner change in that period but food was still good. The last year incrementally noticing the food quality and quantity has been decreasing - The final straw came for me when I ordered a Chinese collected it the Curry was incorrect - the girl at counter was apologetic as she remembered the order and said they would send delivery driver down with correct Curry bare in mind there was another 25 pound of other items - Delivery driver arrived and said could he get the wrong curry I said yeah no problem some was poured out prior to noticing the mistake - he also was a nice fella but said the owner won’t Accept that and would have to charge for the correct order to which he agreed was crazy - As at this stage was an hour after the order so the rest order been freezing as they only replaced the incorrect item. The customer service from the owner is embarrassing I would say spent a huge amount over the years on this premises - I hope he realises this loses loyal customer like myself

Well another weird experience and no customer service from DOMINOES PIZZA DOWNPATRICK. How ,can anyone answer me, is this Dominoes in Downpatrick still open and operating. This is probably the worst run business in Downpatrick and continues to be so. It's obvious the staff don,t care but what about the owner. Do they know they might make more money if they got rid of the clowns that are running it. I,ve said it before and I'll say it to all again . You would be better ordering from Dominoes in Belfast. Delivery would-be quicker. Or just forget Dominoes altogether and order food from another reputable take away in dp and there are plenty that are good businesses and run professionally WITH a customer service. Though if your looking a messed up experience,delayed food,wrong pizza or delivered to wrong address then I highly recommend DOMINOES pizza in Downpatrick .

TAKE AWAY I had placed an order yesterday at 6.21pm for 5 portions of salted chilli chicken and chips, 2 tubs sweet & sour sauce and 2 tubs curry sauce. The meals were inedible…..we’ve been customers of yours for years and never had a bad meal. The chips were really greasy and soggy and the salted chilli was so greasy. Very disappointing but to make matters worse, when I phoned to complain I was told as it was so long since ordering there was nothing you cud do and that I should have brought the meal back for a replacement. I live 8.5 miles away(17mile trip) from ur take away. Could you expect me to travel this distance? That’s not reasonable. Also we had friends visiting and it would not have been appropriate to phone while they were with us. I phoned as soon as they left. This appalling customer service has left us questioning whether we will ever be back in Happy Villa and we will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. worst customer service ever.

Ordered pizza for delivery, after 2 phone calls which both said it had left I drove to Apache, 1 hour 30 mins later. Pizza still hadn’t even been made !!! Terrible service

It's an out - of - town drive thru, with Scrabo tower as a backdrop; I've never driven through a drive - thru for a coffee and I didn't this time either. I went in, I ordered two extra shot tall cappuccinos, one with sugar - free vanilla syrup and I brought my own cups so two pretty good coffees £6. There was plenty of room inside but we sat at tables outside as it was warm enough, for a change, as our summer has been pretty much a washout. The WiFi is fast but doesn't even work outside at the seats and that's pretty lousy. There's a Tim Horton's drive thru close by and a BurgerKing. I liked Horton's coffee while in Canada but here it's not great so I don't bother and don't intend to bother. Starbucks will do when there nothing better nearby. This Starbucks was clean, bright and airy with the aircon working very effectively. There were three friendly staff serving and they were under a bit of pressure and not really coping adequately.

Just want to say a sincere THANK YOU to all the staff at Costa on Langsett Road in Hillsborough Sheffield. We are so sad that it has closed having been going there every Sunday - [and sometimes in the week] - for several years. We already miss it more than words can say. Brian & Hilary

Sainsburys cafe hollywood intercambiar mi consejo evitarlo. . la comida devuelta se sirvió 22 minutos más tarde con las mismas salchichas jajaja 15, ya que un gesto de buena voluntad les avergonzará. . ¡Ahora me llevaré a mí y a mi familia a otra parte para nuestra tienda quincenal! ! ! ! !

La mejor tostada francesa en Belfast y más allá. ¡La mermelada de tocino también es irreal! Definitivamente volveré de nuevo. Personal genial y ambientado también!

Me sorprendió tanto mi experiencia en este terrible lugar que en realidad es difícil decidir la mejor manera de comenzar esta revisión: las palabras me fallan. En todos mis largos años (algunos alrededor del comercio de la hospitalidad) , nunca he tenido una experiencia bastante similar. Visitamos la sucursal de Forestside hace un par de años, y nos quedamos bastante horrorizados ante lo que fue, entonces, nuestra peor experiencia gastronómica (desplazarse hacia atrás en mis reseñas si quieres leerlo) , cuando pedí que la mayonesa, a la que soy alérgica, no se incluyera en mi bocadillo. El chef personalmente me aseguró que no lo sería. Sin embargo, cuando examiné mi baguette, estaba claro que la mayor parte de la mayonesa en el interior simplemente se había raspado. ¡Si sabes algo sobre alergias, sabrás que esto no es bueno! Cuando vimos la sucursal de Corn Market, pensamos bien, diferentes empleados, dos años más tarde, etc, así que decidimos darle una oportunidad. Elegí la hamburguesa de pollo “coreana”. En lo que consistía era en un trozo congelado de pechuga de pollo, rebozado, cubierto con algo muy parecido a la salsa HP, y metido en un batido barato. ¿Por casi 15 libras? De todos modos, tenía hambre, así que me comí las patatas fritas y luego mordí la hamburguesa, solo para descubrir que estaba fría. No me refiero a tibio, me refiero a frío. Como dije antes, tengo cierta experiencia en la industria de la restauración, así que sonaron las campanas de advertencia. Corté la cosa por la mitad, y encontré lo que temía – el centro de la “hamburguesa” estaba completamente crudo (foto adjunta). Esto no es solo repugnante, es un claro peligro para la salud. Marché al mostrador y exigí un reembolso, que finalmente recibí. La pobre camarera estaba muy avergonzada – creo que este no fue el primer cliente infeliz que ha visto en su (esperemos que breve) carrera en Jamaica Blue. Y no iba a ser la última. Mientras volvía a mi mesa a buscar mi abrigo, oí una voz de la mesa de al lado que exclamaba “¡UGH! ¡Esto es crudo!” Hablé con ella y me mostró su “hamburguesa”, exactamente igual que la mía. Cuando me fui, vi a la pobre chica detrás del mostrador lidiar con su queja. Está claro que Jamaica Blue no sabe nada sobre alergias, higiene o cocina, y NO debe participar en la preparación o servicio de alimentos! Los reportaré a Salud Pública. I have never seen such slow and disorganised services. If you are in anything like a hurry avoid at all costs. What a shambles.

Started off pleasantly but not for long. As the girl serving was filling the roll I couldn't help but notice that the scoop she was using was only partially filled each time (I know from experience that it's supposed to be full as it measures the required portion). As a result the roll wasn't adaquately filled. I asked her to put a small amount into the roll to remedy this, however she just stated that this would cost extra and that I'd received all I was allowed .......... When I pointed out her incorrect use of the scoop she just blanked my comment and asked what cheese I wanted. I asked for grated and, surprise surprise, she sprinkled on the lightest possible amount before putting my order in the toaster.I was tempted to cancel my order at this stage but have personal issues with food being wasted, which would have been the outcome. Some of us use this Applegreen services on a very regular basis. But as far as Subway is concerned - Lesson learned I suppose ..... but I won't be back !!

Normalmente no soy tan directivo. Tenía la esperanza de que el cambio de manos de Kings Head pudiera haberlo revivido. Me gusta un menú corto. . . concéntrate en lo que eres bueno en n de todo eso, pero esto fue ridículamente limitado. Puede tener un tipo de hamburguesa, carne, pescado, pollo o una variedad muy limitada de pizzas. Como no me apetece nada en el menú estándar, elegí una pizza "elige tu propia". Se equivocaron la primera vez y cuando obtuve lo que ordené, los otros dos habían terminado sus principales y el mío estaba casi bien. No volveré. Estaba bastante vacío un sábado por la noche en la calle Lisburn. Lo dice todo.

We ordered from this chippy every Friday night for family get together, £50+ every week, last week waiting time was atrocious as they kept saying waiting for drivers, this week it took 1 & a half hours to deliver for less than 3 miles away, food had been sitting waiting for a driver so everything was soggy & cold, wasn’t nice at all, you think being a regular customer same time every week they would have the drivers needed to keep up with orders, definitely last time we order

Saw an offer 2 course meal £14.95 Sunday to Thursday so went in. After 2 starters and 2 main meals and 2 fantas they charged £53.10. When we said about the sign outside they said that was thevearly bird menu. Firstly we went at 5.30 pm they didnt open until 5pm and was only offered 1 menu so thought we could chose from that. We ordered a basic curry so why were we charged double. The drinks came to £5. The food wascquite tastless also for the price. Watch for this its a scam. We were offered some money back which we refused. I thought letting others know was better than getting £10. We will never be back as they onlyvturned the heating and lights on as we were going up the stairs. All the guy said you would pay £80. We said firstly we are not in Belfast and that sign is misleading. Places in Belfast are more respectably pleasing and a warmer atmosphere. They are taking cash only too so probably not paying the right tax for their takings.
