Absolutely crazy price for what you get. I laughed at the lady and told her I wouldn't be back. The smallest and crappiest bag of chips I've ever gotten. Every other chippy in the town gives a better portion of food. Two of these and the other was smaller was near 7 quid. Jokeee

Almost two hours for a delivery and when it arrived was missing food. This is the 3rd delivery in a row that’s been wrong. An absolute shambles of a place it’s become. 2 kids meals ordered to quote “to take the hassle out of cooking” and arrives at their bed time. Thankfully that was the last order I’ll ever place with Paul Greenway and PG chips. Unhelpful useless staff. Offered a refund on my next order which is very presumptuous which I declined as I’ve no intention of ever returning so they can kept my money and my food as it’s actually a very cheap lesson learnt for me and a costly one to them. Shocking takeaway

They have an offer which clearly states ‘add a bottle of water and a chip for £2.90’. I ordered portion of gougons, chip and a water. All items priced separately and offer not applied. When I queried I was told ‘you must order a gougon supper to avail of offer’. So I asked do you have to order a supper then add a further chip and a water. No! You must tell them it’s a supper you want. This is not stated on any of their posters. Very misleading and unfair.

Battered Cod was soggy, thick, sloppy, greasy and inedible. Many of the chips had the taste of bad potatoes. Truly awful food.

The fish and chips rank amongst the most tastiest I have ever had. Generous portions, quick service, and we liked it so much, we returned on the way back from where we had been. Well worth a visit.

Called very hungry, after a 5 hour drive! I waited a long time but knew it was being cooked fresh so thought it would be worth it! Had heard one girl ask for single fish over and over. Other had said it was in. Orders started to go out which had been well after mine. Then heard it again.... where’s the single fish? There obviously wasn’t one!! I watched as they stuck a fish in and then said to me...”Your’s is almost ready!” I asked if that hadn’t been it just going in? They actually lied and said it wasn’t. I felt like walking out but I was too tired and too hungry. When eventually my order was ready I left and drove to a lay-by to eat it! Wish I’d checked it before leaving the premise! The fish was very undercooked and dripping in oil! The batter was soggy and stodgy! The chips were disgusting... tough and rubbery! I actually requested a listing for this chip shop on Tripadvisor... so that I could review it. Put simply...worst I’ve ever had!! The only thing worse than the food is the service!!

I popped in for something to eat as I'd had a busy day My order was Small Onion ring (4) Portion Beef Sausage (2) Portion Mushy peas Fish Bites (6) Friendly staff, new refurbish shop, food portions were good, could have been more Peas in my tub but was ample I suppose. Sausages were lovely Onion rings were lovely a bit to greasy for me The fish bites were lovely and fresh and a good portion Lovely food with a varied menu I'd go back again

Called in for the cod and was disappointed with the batter; far too thick at about half a centimetre and quite soggy. Took it all off and the fish underneath was nice enough....wouldn’t go back though.

We came down to visit Coalsland Santa experience and called in here for dinner. Absolutely fabulous. Staff were so helpful and friendly, portions were HUGE and so tasty. As a vegetarian it’s always a curse to find somewhere selling more than one veggie thing on the menu they actually had a wee list of veggie things!!! Honestly thee best veggie lasagne I’ve ever tasted. They were great with my 3 kiddies and yeah absolutely reccomend for anyone with a big appetite and kiddies. Happy Christmas to all in Tilley Lamp

Can't believe some reviews, someone said I've had s few meals out of here ,yet only leave a 2 star review when their batterd sausage was a bit greasy, and not all the other times the food was perfect, Karen's are everywhere! From my experience food was exceptional, from friendly staff,to cleanliness of the place, plus quite a que was forming, which is always a good sign.

If you want to relive the heyday of high teas, you should book one at the Royal Hotel, Cookstown. Our party of 7 was treated to an old-style dining experience, in bright and tastefully decorated surroundings, thanks to our excellent waitress. Roslyn's attention to detail and to our dining needs were exceptional. We had what seemed to be three bottomless tea pots on the go; delicious sandwich fingers with an assortment of tasty savoury fillings; scones, jam and cream; muffins and a variety of exquisite slices all placed on three towering cake plates - a veritable cornucopia. At regular intervals Roslyn and her staff checked if we needed refills, that we were comfortable, provided boxes for us to take home excess goodies, and even demonstrated her excellent skills as a photographer, ably capturing our reunion of Northern Irish and Australian cousins for posterity. At all times Roslyn was professional, unobtrusive, polite, friendly, and caring - reminding us of days gone by when dining out was an absolute pleasure thanks to excellent cuisine served by staff who provided outstanding and friendly service.
