Parklands Cafe in Ards

Awful service, wrong order didn't offer to change it, man on tills had no personality and even had the audacity to charge me extra when I mentioned the order was wrong, not even an apology or come over after to ask how the food was, I am a long term member of the center and this has really put a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one!!!!

I was disappointed to find that the cafe now no longer provides the very nice toasties that we ysed to enjoy. Sandwiches are available in premade packs but these are available at any filling station anywhere, so unfortunately there is little to bring us back here for lunch.

My wife and I first visited the cafe just before the first lockdown but had not been back until now. We had a very well filled tuna and onion toastie with a decent amount of chopped side salad to accompany. The cafe space is quite large but tables are well spaced and there were not many others present. Definitely worth a revisit.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick cjicken and coleslaw sandwich here. It was pretty tasty and there was plenty of it, so no complaints. Unfortunately, for a Friday at lunchtime, there were only a couple of other people present. It's a pity that more people do not make better use of the cafe and maybe it deserves to be better known.

Absolutely rip off. Got 1 cup of tea for £1.80, it came in a cardboard cup, that was half filled. Poor service, standards have dropped dramatically. I would encourage people to avoid this rip off.
