Golden River in Ards

Delivery was very late and the food tasted rubbery, wouldn’t recommend

Why would you cover chilli chips in sugar? The chicken tasted strange too. We took two bites and binned the lot.

Had to return as they had forgotten 1/2 and 1/2

Ordered at 20.55 and order still hasn’t arrived 23.33. Shocking customer service, rang and told still not made.

Not great food - Very Disappointed

2nd time ordering from here, stupidly forget that i didnt like it previously a year or 2 beforehand. NO JOKE the honey chilli chicken tastes like horsefeed, not that ive ate horsefeed, but it tastes how that would taste, one of those ones!

Enjoyed getting ealing will be back

I went to here for my dinner tonight asked for extra veg in my special curry and they where more then happy to do it, would highly recomend Golden River!!!!!

Ordered using justeat. Opted to collect as it said order would be ready in 20 minutes. Got the message saying food ready so popped in. Still waiting 37 minutes and counting. Wouldn't have minded if they had been honest about how long it would be. Will not be going back. No remorse shown by staff.

It's excellent food when not to busy . When busy food is rushed and not as tasty . Staff very nice .

We have been using this Chinese for almost 2 years since moving to the area. Food is always hot on arrival (not always the case when getting a delivery) and we are yet to have a bad meal. Staff are always friendly on the phone also. It's our go to Chinese take away and what we would get of we have friends or family visiting. Highly recommend the honey chilli chicken, curry and the beef in black bean. 10 out of 10 in our house!

Got wrong order which means someone else got the wrong order too. Won't be back.

First visit. Scores on the doors 3. Something I didn't notice until I was leaving. What I could see of the kitchen looked ok so possibly paperwork not in order. Staff were friendly, the food was just okay. I'll go back if it's the only option but I wouldn't make a point to go back.

Whilst I was in ordering a delivery guy walked in coughing and spluttering all over the place with out mask. Rung to complain about it and was told that masks aren't compulsory. Won't be going back after that.

Had food from here last night and all 5 portions of chicken was off. Rang to inform them and the staff were extremely rude. When I rang back the 2nd time I was refused a refund and again the staff were extremely rude. I will never ever eat here again or recommend here.

I eat of here when I want a chinese I got some satays and they were tough, my friend could hardly get it off the stick. Normally the stuff I get off of there is great but today was a flop.

The food it is absolutely rubbish --- Ordered a Sirloin ---- wife collected in Person I received a piece of meat which wasn't sirloin --- a piece of topside braised 3-4 days before ---- dry black as your boot with a black gravy and tinned peas --- horrible --- Nobody should be selling crap like this
