Kings Traditonal Fish & Chips in Belfast

We ordered from this chippy every Friday night for family get together, £50+ every week, last week waiting time was atrocious as they kept saying waiting for drivers, this week it took 1 & a half hours to deliver for less than 3 miles away, food had been sitting waiting for a driver so everything was soggy & cold, wasn’t nice at all, you think being a regular customer same time every week they would have the drivers needed to keep up with orders, definitely last time we order

My ten year old son went in to order chicken goujons by himself. There was some confusion over the price and the money he had with him. When he got home it turns out he was given a different chicken dish that he doesnt like. So we went back, explained he made a mistake and asked if i could change the food. They said no. So we left empty handed with my son in tears and extremely upset. Going in to a place of business to order food during the formative years of your life is such a huge leap and helps build confidence for the future. I have been going to this chippy for 10+ years. I understand a business is there to make profit and that is paramount for it to thrive. Kings have obviously put this above all else when it comes to customer service. Such a shame it has come to this and it is a stark reminder to never assume that a business has their frequent customers best interests at heart.

Once again I enjoyed my carryout from Kings. It is a busy spot. I ordered a breast of chicken which is not southern fried,but a proper breast deep fried in the chip pan. It comes out lovely and crisp and non greasy. In fact there was more chicken meat on it than a half chicken I got from Frango's. Plus a large portion of free chips. Also I had two battered pork sausages. Large and plump and well battered and again non greasy,with another large scoop of chips. Kings is as good a chipper as is around. The girls serving are down to earth and local woman. Give it a try.

Called up ordered fish and chipa +2 battered sausages.Have to say awful .chips not to bad fish like cardboard sausages batter hangin off them.never again even in normal times.waited for approx 30 mins.sorry about the review but have to be truthful.

Oh my goodness, got a delivery from this place, I was not disappointed! Burger- yummy! Chicken chunks, delicious. Sausage and chips- just great. I intend to order more from here, despite it being delivered, it was still hot. Defo recommend!

Been here quite a while and it is consistent. The fish I got was haddock,that is what they cook. At 4.50 it is a wee bit dearer than others. But I was hungry and it was really good,and a reasonable size. With a few chips thrown in. It is surprisingly the only chippy on the long,busy Ormeau Road. Nice enough staff. Clean and busy. Recommended.
