Kings Traditonal Fish & Chips in Belfast

We ordered from this chippy every Friday night for family get together, £50+ every week, last week waiting time was atrocious as they kept saying waiting for drivers, this week it took 1 & a half hours to deliver for less than 3 miles away, food had been sitting waiting for a driver so everything was soggy & cold, wasn’t nice at all, you think being a regular customer same time every week they would have the drivers needed to keep up with orders, definitely last time we order

My ten year old son went in to order chicken goujons by himself. There was some confusion over the price and the money he had with him. When he got home it turns out he was given a different chicken dish that he doesnt like. So we went back, explained he made a mistake and asked if i could change the food. They said no. So we left empty handed with my son in tears and extremely upset. Going in to a place of business to order food during the formative years of your life is such a huge leap and helps build confidence for the future. I have been going to this chippy for 10+ years. I understand a business is there to make profit and that is paramount for it to thrive. Kings have obviously put this above all else when it comes to customer service. Such a shame it has come to this and it is a stark reminder to never assume that a business has their frequent customers best interests at heart.

Una vez más disfruté de mi comida para llevar de Kings. Es un lugar muy concurrido. Pedí una pechuga de pollo que no está frita al sur, sino una pechuga adecuada frita en la sartén de papas fritas. Sale delicioso, crujiente y no grasoso. De hecho, había más carne de pollo que medio pollo que obtuve de Frango's. Además de una gran porción de fichas gratis. También comí dos salchichas de cerdo rebozadas. Grandes y regordetas y bien rebozadas y nuevamente no grasosas, con otra gran cucharada de patatas fritas. Kings es tan bueno como lo es. Las chicas que sirven tienen los pies en la tierra y son mujeres locales. Darle una oportunidad.

Llamado pescado pedido y chipa + 2 salchichas rebozadas. Tengo que decir horrible. papas fritas no para pescado malo como salchichas de cartón rebozado colgando de ellos. nunca más, incluso en tiempos normales. Esperó aproximadamente 30 minutos. perdón por la revisión pero tengo que ser sincero.

¡Oh Dios mío, recibí una entrega de este lugar, no me decepcionó! Hamburguesa - delicioso! Trozos de pollo, deliciosos. Salchichas y patatas fritas, simplemente genial. Tengo la intención de pedir más desde aquí, a pesar de que se entregó, todavía estaba caliente. Defo lo recomiendo!

Been here quite a while and it is consistent. The fish I got was haddock,that is what they cook. At 4.50 it is a wee bit dearer than others. But I was hungry and it was really good,and a reasonable size. With a few chips thrown in. It is surprisingly the only chippy on the long,busy Ormeau Road. Nice enough staff. Clean and busy. Recommended.
