Burger King in Belfast

Had a great experience eating here with my family juss loved it

Whilst in Belfast I thought I’d have a Burger King, I’ve not had one in a very long time and saw this place. It’s just inside the shopping complex as you walk in it’s on the right. The staff They just seem (I felt) they did not want to be there. No contact with me as a customer other than what do you want? Thanks and there you! Just before being given the food I noticed burgers and orders being left on the side whilst other bit of the orders being made ready, this surely makes the food get colder quicker. When given my order I was just given salt and tomato sauce and had to say I did not want them but wanted mayonnaise. It felt like a conveyor belt. The store The seating was pealing and in a terrible state, the store was clean but not a welcoming place to be. The food The chips were really good but the burger was not up to much at all. The bread bun was a little soggy and the bacon was like a sheet of metal, The burger patties were a little cold not the nice hot you would expect from Burger King. Just in all a bit of a let down!

Bad and hard burgers, the store closed 1 hour early, all seats were filled with rubbish

Food was okay but staff constantly staring at you while your eating and putting you off your food waste of money paying someone to walk about and stare at customers who are trying to enjoy a meal wont be back unless this is resolved

The burgers are tiny and disgusting. The chillin cheese bites are off the chips are standard and overpriced.

Woman who I think was the manager was so rude and arrogant! Won't be back terrible customer service! Didn't even give a straw with meal and got about 8 chips with it, stood in line for about 20 minutes because most of the workers didn't understand people. About 10 customes walked out before even ordering and manager was throwing people dirty looks like it was there fault

Even tho wopper wasnt the best, staff did everything they could to fix my mistake in already cooked order, thumbs up

The staff can frequently be hard to understand and their method of making sure edits to burgers is followed is literally just shouting back to the chefs. On top of that, unless you're using their absolute mess of a mobile app for the offers, it is very expensive compared to other fast food restaurants. The sit in is either right next to annoying arcade machines making noises or in a darker corner, not horrible but noticeable. Food at least tastes as youd expect, but worse than for example Abbey Centre burger king.

Great service, hard-working, commendable staff

Awful, arrogant manager , stale buns , had to return the chicken burger which was overcooked (BURNT) Coke half filled , and when asked they said that it was the exact measure , 2 meals both with stale buns cost £19 , will never eat a Burger King again . They need a rethink on customer service.

They asked me for 20p for a sachet of mayo

Just refused service at 8.55p.m even though it states it's opened until 10.00pm ever time....put your proper opening times on....

Placed an order (took me about 10 mins to get through the que) and then waited 30, yes, THIRTY MINUTES for my order and the food ended up being not that great either which is disappointing since burger king food is normally lovely. Staff often talked to each other in a circle inbetween making orders and I was ready to blow up. Other people were annoyed about the terrible service here. I'm not from NI so thankfully I won't be returning here!

Order was made and paid for and we stood for over half an hour with others that came after us collecting there orders to find out the order wasn’t sent through. We ended up missing the movie

Popped in with our grandkids for dinner they love it was not bissy at all

Burger King York Street Belfast. Stood for ages waiting to be served as manager, young customer and only till operator had a long winded conversation. Having finally placed my order I had to ask for my Coke which had not been given to me! Managed to find a booth but had 5 screaming children in front running about uncontrolled by parents with no masks on. The kids were hanging over the backrest looking at me making stupid faces. Another booth became free and I moved but could still see and hear the racket! Another two ladies with elderly parent also moved to try to escape the din! At no stage did management ask them to be quiet and stop running about. None of the tables were cleared or cleaned during my entire visit which was around 25 minutes despite multiple uses! Yuk! I won’t be back!

I dont have a problem when I order in store. But nearly every time I order a delivery I have issues. And again I was missing a chicken royal meal and kids meal but I still had the drinks for them. They tick check list but not enough to see what's actually missing. And okay just eat may refund the meals. But what happens when you don't have enough money to cover another delivery? People don't get to eat. So thanks...

Waited absolutely ages, wudve been quicker at a restaurant, staff couldn't care less, an extra £1.70 each to go large!!!! £18 for 2 x whopper meals and chk nuggets!!!! And wat made things worse.....there was NO SALT!!!! like wat food making business has No SALT......so didn't even eat the go large chips 😒 waste of money, still hungry after paying £18 for food. On plus side burger was lovely but not enough to make me want to go back.

I dont even want 2 give 1 star but i have to to write a review.i am totaly disgusted as i watched a waitress pull her mask down and clean her nose with her fingers (yuk yuk yuk) she pulled her mask up again and continued to put peoples food in the takeaway bags i feel sick to my stomach i brought my food home and put it straight in the bin.

Visit was just chaotic and unpleasant. The queue was pretty small but staff seemed to be overwhelmed. I suspect this was due to putting together 'Just Eat' orders. A delivery man arrived while I was there and the staff were snapping at him as well as at each other. At the same time someone else arrived in to complain that he had not received half of the 'Just Eat' order he had placed the previous evening which only put the staff in a worse mood and held up orders even more. When I got my food and went to sit down and the place was filthy. There wasn't a table that wasn't covered in rubbish, crumbs and spills. I sat at the least messy table and ate an extremely underwhelming and lukewarm meal. While I was eating someone finally came around to tidy up and I was shocked to see the member of staff didn't even have a cloth with them to wipe down the tables never mind disinfectant. They just gave the table a wipe with their hand. This wouldn't be great at the best of times but was particularly shocking now that we are used to seeing the raised hygiene levels elsewhere due to Covid 19. When you go to a fast food restaurant you don't usually go with the highest of expectations but this place was just grim!

The food was OK. The staff were nice enough. There was only like 3 people on even though it was lunchtime and the lines were huge. All I got was chips and a drink and it took around 20 minutes for the order. I was stressed and in a rush and the staff were stressed and snapping at each other and it made me more stressed.

Very poor quality. Had the bacon double cheeseburger meal. The burger wasn't even warm enough to start melting the cheese. Very plain. Neither sauce nor gherkins or anything on the burger. And chips cool. I'd only a few steps to the table so wasn't a long way to go to keep them warm. This isn't the first time it's been like this recently. But it's the last time for me. Won't be back.

Staff give a friendly service and the place is great for grabbing a bite to eat!

Has gotten way too expensive. Plenty of less expensive better options.

Quick and friendly service, food was as expected and came out hot but didn't stay hot for long as the place was freezing. We didn't take our coats off the whole time we were there and the seats were uncomfortable. We also got a cappuccino and a latte, both tasted exactly the same, but not like what either of them should have, just warm, weak milky coffees.

I found veins in my burger and a dead rat on the floor never going again my brother is only 3 and says he never wants to go there again

Kids loved it and enjoyed the food. Ok for a fast food outlet food was hot and got to us quickly.

I know working in a food service environment can be challenging (as I do myself) but your staff would rather stand by the chip fryer and talk about absolute nonsense than get the queue down quickly. Waited around 10 mins to be served, another 10 for food to come out. Change your name from fast food because clearly this yorkgate one is not. Some of your staff need to smile more and have some lessons in customer service, one lady had been given the wrong order and a young staff member and older staff member walked away from this encounter just laughing and then ignoring customers waiting in queue to talk about their staff Christmas party. Absolute garbage in there.

Buy far the worst stinking BK in Belfast

Food was ok(ish). It's a big enough place (about 50+ siting places) and no toilet. Had to take my child to the far side of the second floor. There used to was 1 inside, but they've done away with it. Shambles

The food is of great quality. There seems to be a bit of an issue in the speed of service. Too slow for a fast food chain. Might have to do with a de emphasis on speed. Don't know

I go to that place from years. But what I've seen today it was a nightmare! Many spaces to sit in but all of them with plenty trays and rubbish. Customers couldn't put the staff to bin because was full of rubbish and was tower made from trays! Just disgusting! Also the girl who served us was permanently scratched her head and hair after that she touched a food when preparing the order. All staff forgot hygiene procedures and customer service standards. Shame!

Come on... I know Burger King is competing with McDonald's but it shouldn't mean they also issue out beverages in paper cups for delivery like McDonald's...

Can't contact burger king so this will do, terrible customer service, floors not clean. Got home and no chips with the order. Could not be annoyed having to go back to the take away place to see a blank post pubescent face looking at me blankly while I give out. I just won't go back I guess.

Sometimes you go and the food is terrible but the past few times I've went the food has been amazing.

It's great for kids. My grandson loves it.

I enjoy a good Burger King, quarter pounder with bacon and cheese is my favourite, only down side are the chips, they changed them and not for the best.

What happened to the ice cream? Constituency of semolina pudding! Busy location some of the staff reflected their boredom / angst with their jobs and lives? The adults amongst us understood children bemused no smiling faces? 🤔

Worst customer service, sour faces on and the slowest I have ever seen staff of a fast food restaurant move, every table in the place was disgusting we had no where to sit and had to wait ages on one meal and it was freezing cold! What a waste of time and money, won’t be back. Avoid if you can!

Not gonna lie... Probably the worst Burger King I've ever been to. Flat drinks, no ice, smaller portion sizes than normal.

Went three times for my kids to get a kids meal and the girl said sorry no toys went next week . Sorry no toys. I said the third time we've been here twice already to be told that and still charging same price and the girl looked shook her shoulders and said well that's not my problem. Telling a 3 and 4 year old for the 3rd time they've gave up on burger king! Yorkgate

Awful experience. The food was below health standards. The use the square packet cheese on their burgers, the kind you put on a child's burger. It was herideous

Food okay no toilet in the place

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Clean welfare facilities and food was served very quickly even though the staff were busy.

Lunch time, people queued right out of the shop and yet they only had two staff members behind the counter... seriously, it's going to get busy at lunchtime make sure you have the staff at the ready. Other than that, the food was good as always.

Burger King cityside well what can I say, it has slipped big time 3 times I've visited and 3 times I've gotten a cold burger can honestly say I won't be back, complained to I e of the supervisors and he just looked at me,

Stuff was cheeky and I asked for no gherkins and mustard on my burgers cause my 5 Wain's don't like them burger king is normal fun and friendly never had a problem before but today was unsatisfactory

Place is okay for a bite to eat after cinema or shopping. Can be slow but the food was okay although place was a mess because silly customers can’t tidy up after themselves. JUST WALK TO A BIN WITH THE TRAY ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

This place is absolutely awful. It's not your typical burger king. The person taking our order was incredibly rude, kid needs to learn his manners. We had to get someone else to take our order. We weren't from northern Ireland we're from a country that uses the euro. We asked the employee if we cohld pay with euro and she said that was okay. After placing our order(which came to about 13 pounds) the burger king employee said our total was 20 euro. Now, it's so obvious that 13 pounds is NOT equal to 20 euros. Not only was the first employee completely rude to us, the second one tried to get more money from us than our order was worth. I am definitely not coming here again, disgraceful place, employees don't know basic manners or how to treat other people. The food isn't even that great, compared to other burger kings. Would rate this place less than 1 star if I could.

Great tasting burgers. Quick service.

Is it possible to get even worse? This Burger King proves that it is possible. The staff don't care about what they're making, the prices are extortionate. The food is severely undercooked while the toilets are all out of order. Not an enjoyable experience. Wish I didn't return.

Stopped here while shopping at Yorkgate/Cityside. Safe to say it was a mistake, the service was horrible, the food was worse, the only nice part of my meal was the drink. The food was tasteless and stone cold. Tables were filthy. The store wasn't even busy so there was no reason for any of these problems other than incompetent staff. Will not return.

Food was cold and service slow. Staff look bored and uninterested in being there. Recently renovated didn't make a difference as the food was so bad. Burger King fail!!!

Visited the BK in Glengormley and ordered a chicken BLT for £1.29. Picture looked gr8 but when it came out it was totally different. Also bacon left metallic after taste?!?! Why?

I use the BK app as I find BK to be over priced. so I hooked up to their free wifi and asked the lady at the till for a certain offer, she said No it has expired, well it had not as the voucher still had a month to run, she then told me they did not accept the vouchers in that store anymore. I said that was not correct and I wish to see the manager, she went off and when she returned they suddenly did accept vouchers! I found her then very rude as she had been proved wrong! Food was ok but BK insist on using steam draws and microwaves, COKK FRESH!

Ordering is usually very speedy and I've never had a bad experience or wrong order yet. The staff are very friendly. Two negatives about Burger King in general, the onion rings are either soggy and undercooked or hard as a brick and overcooked. The toys that come with kids meals are usually pretty poor. I like this branch and it usually seems pretty busy.

Decent service in what we used to call Yorkgate. Have it your way - Cant go wrong. Fast food at its best.

The service at BK is extremely quick but what I don't like is when you are standing looking at the menu, you are asked what you want several times before you are ready - this aggravated me and one of the other customers joked about having to hurry up because of the massive queue and there were only three of us there.  I tried to take my time but actually felt panicked into choosing something and chose just a basic cheese burger meal.  I usually always enjoy a quick meal from BK even though I regret eating it but this time the burger was horrible - skinny, squidgy and the meat tasted off.  The fries were fine but the diet coke was very watery.  I also wasn't given any salt for the fries and wasn't aware that I needed to get my own or ask for it.  I think it is normally in the bag. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant once I got over the initial irritation of being tortured to order.  I don't think I would rush back here again and it will probably be noted in the back of my mind that it didn't feel good, then some day in the distant future I'll go back again unsuspectingly.

This Burger King is sitting right as you walk into the shopping centre, the food was good and quite warm. The food was served quite quickly. The chicken was nice but the chips could have been a little warmer.
