I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.

Called in here spontaneously while on a loop expedition around the lower half of east Cornwall looking for some new stretches to exercise the dog. Mid-afternoon, mid-September and we were soon hungry. This is a pleasant cafe but we came over ten minutes after lunch ended so we resorted to tea and cake. Quite a selection, fairly priced and OK portions. Better for sitting on the outside benches in the surprisingly hot sun. Bit fiddly to drive down here by the lanes from the A30, easy to get get back south to Liskeard and the A38. We’d probably come again but in time for lunch.

A great evening for the four of us. Excellent service and food. The ribeye was exceptional. Fair pricing and great atmosphere. So nice to have a place like this locally. Live music on a Friday is such a nice touch. Staff very courteous and helpful and didn’t rush us out, more than happy for us to finish our drinks. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We were accompanying friends who were celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary; they chose this restaurant with the Relaxed Tasting multicourse course menu, where every course is a surprise! The food was absolutely excellent, taking some 3 hours to work through, and yet not feeling bloated at the conclusion of it. Paul Hugill is a very talented chef, who appears from time to time to inquire how the taste buds are coping with experience. The support team are just as passionate about one's experience as the chef is and help make for a very entertaining evening. An eating extravaganza not to be missed!

We recently dined at Great Himalayas Nepalese Restaurant and bar it was a delightful experience! The flavors of the traditional Nepalese dishes were exquisite, transporting me back to Nepal The cozy ambiance and friendly staff added to the overall enjoyment of the meal I highly recommend trying the momos and the flavorful curries A must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Nepali cuisine! ❤️

We had wonderful Afternoon Tea at Lamingtons as a family. It was our first time and we had heard very good things, but our expectations were exceeded by far. The food was amazing: The scones were the best I have ever had, the sandwiches tasty and overall it was more than we could eat. Mark was the perfect host- from the moment we stepped into Lamingtons, he created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go back with extended family. The perfect place to take your friends from abroad for a very special afternoon tea or just to treat yourselves.

Visited after spotting someone eating one of the bao whilst we were in Lyme! Absolutely delicious- fresh, vibrant flavours and generous serving of meat in each bao. I had the rice chicken satay box and it was great- super portion and so fresh! The chilli crisp was unreal. My daughter had the kids rice box and great size portion and she loved it- 3 sizeable pieces of pork belly, rice and carrot/cucumber so ideal for kids who are interested in eating good food! Not cheap but VERY reasonable for the quality and esp considering there is a cafe directly opposite Red Panda which charges £12 for a jacket potato!!! Go to Red Panda, order 1 of everything then sit on the benches outside and enjoy the view and the grub- totally worth it.

Having checked online for some local food places, this became one I definitely wanted to try. Visiting on a rainy day I imagined it to be a bit quieter, but no, there was still a decent queue. Must be good, I thought! We ordered a couple of baguettes and chose some bits to enjoy another time (sausage roll, pasty & scotch egg!). Total cost, around £20. Service was fantastic. Despite being busy, our food was made fairly quickly and staff were really lovely. Our food was delicious and we both decided we wanted to go back for another baguette at some point ;D
