Went last night with a large party of friends. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the staff were really lovely. I thought it was really good value, we over ordered on the food but we will know for next time. The portion sizes for tapas are quite big but everything we ordered was so good. I would highly recommend.

We always love coming here! It’s my husband’s favourite restaurant and of course last night didn’t disappoint. Everything from the bread to the meatballs 😋 we always seem to order too much and get a doggy bag to take home, unfortunately there wasn’t a plate left empty last night to be able to do that! Thank you again Sam & team for another wonderful night

Absolutely delicious food. Each dish was beautifully presented with such great flavours. Service - attentive but not fussy. The chef even came out to check on his guests.

Bridgnorth has more than its fair share of great places to eat for a relatively small town, but the Fat Olive is the ‘go to’ place for me for a great night out. Superb tasty food and a fantastic atmosphere perfect lighting in a characterful room with wonky old oak floorboards tucked away between the Hideout cocktail bar and the butchers on the high street. Love it.

TheFat Olive Tapas Co is quite possibly the best food I've ever eaten let alone the best food in Bridgnorth! We were recommended the place by the owners of Rondor Cottage and were not disappointed. We ordered 4 plates of food each. It was far too much food for us (the staff recommended 2-3 per person which would have been plenty) but the staff happily packed up the leftovers. Our favourite bits were the meatballs and the chicken and bean nachos. Staff was fantastic, vibe was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic little restaurant on Bridgnorth High Street. Food is top notch, generously portioned and reasonably priced. I particularly liked the chorizo and black pudding, the nachos, and the potatas bravas (that how you spell it?). Wine was also nice... managed to polish off a bottle of red and couple of bottles of white between six of us, followed by Espresso Martinis. The staff are helpful and attentive, and are happy to advise on dishes. Have been before and will definitely be going again.

Best food around! I’ve been to many restaurants, but this is the only place I sit and crave going to. Each time their food is amazing, staff are lovely also! I’ve been three times this year and will be continuing. Best tapas and food I’ve eaten in a long long time and such a bargain!

We ate here last night, whilst stopping in Bridgnorth for the night, they had a special valentine meal on, which we decided to have, the food was absolutely delicious and lots of it, staff were lovely and polite. We shall definitely recommend and be back.

The Fat Olive Tapas will be a forever go to for myself and friends and family. The staff are great and I always feel looked after. Rose and Sam truly have one of the best eateries in Bridgnorth by a country mile. I couldn't recommend this place enough. I have been multiple times now and also had a couple of takeaways. The food is spectacular and is priced extremely well. You certainly get more than you pay for. Amazing atmosphere and food :)

Incredible staff, food, service, everything - just truly incredible. The most perfect caterer you could ever ask for. My husband and I absolutely adore The Fat Olive and go there at least once a month for a delicious meal. Sam and Rose never fail to provide perfect food, ambience, service etc so it is no surprise we chose them to be our wedding caterers. Despite our venue being a fair distant from Bridgnorth (The Wyre Forest), Sam and Rose went above and beyond to investigate what would be needed for our special day. They had regular check-ins and meetings with us to make sure we were happy with the menu and were happy to cater for our needs/our guest dietary requirements. On the actual day of our wedding they were there super early to set up and were so organised/prepared. They organised canapés on arrival for guests which were a mix of different brushetta and then we had a buffet-style tapas for our mains. Every single guest raved about the food - particularly the stew and chorizo - it was just absolutely perfect. They cleared everything for us from the tables and packed away with no fuss whatsoever. They lovingly laid out the evening nibbles for us before their departure and it was amazing! more brushetta, crackers, olives, dips etc. Lots of guests were taking so goody bags of food! We truly cannot recommend The Fat Olive enough. Whether for a meal out or a special event, they are truly out of this world. I'm already thinking of booking our next meal as I type this! A lovely family meal with us all sharing tapas. We asked our waiter to choose enough for us all and he made a great selection of very tasty food.

Alina was a great waitress, even handed my mother in law a tissue with cleaning product on as she seen her trying to clean her glasses. Food was AMAZING as always!! We live down south but each time we come to see family we visit as it’s such a lovely place, always great service & great food!

Called in at the last minute on a Friday evening and they found us a table for 2 despite being really busy! Oh my days the food was absolutely delicious! The staff are really friendly and attentive. Been going to Bridgnorth for years and never even knew it was there. What a find, a real hidden gem and will definitely be returning next year 🤗

I called up on the day to see if there was a table available for late lunch but they were fully booked... 10 mins later the lady called me back to say they'd had a cancellation! And how glad I was... A quirky little restaurant tucked away up some steep stairs, wonky floor boards and Spanish decor all added to the absolutely magical experience. The tapas was delicious and plentiful, I'd love to see some more vegetables & vegetarian options on the menu but that didn't mean there wasn't plenty to choose from. We will definitely visit here again it was a wonderful last minute surprise and a hidden gem above the high street of Bridgnorth!

What a fantastic meal! Food was absolutely outstanding and the staff were so attentive! 6 different tapas, 500ml homemade Sangera and glass of lemonade was £65.... and it was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Just wow x

I've been to Spain a lot and had some great food there so I was very excited to try out this restaurant. Sadly, the food was disappointing and very overpriced for what you get. The food was not very nice and it felt like cheap ingredients were being used, despite the prices being high. Sorry, but I wouldn't go back again as it just wasn't worth the money.

We had a fantastic evening the atmosphere was great the place got a real buzz, the food is fantastic with plenty of choice on the menu. The staff are wonderful very attentive and friendly I would highly recommend we will definitely return.
