Great food wholesome and genuine. Interesting menu and wide variety of drinks too including Mythos. Service was quick friendly and efficient and also awesome value Will be back

What a hidden gem this is in Shrewsbury. Delicious authentic Greek food, so reasonably priced for the huge portions! Would highly recommend :-)

First time at this restaurant, responded to a Facebook plea. The reservation was incorrect we asked for 12 seats and given 10 but on a table better suited to 8 people. Food was good but small portions. We asked for salt twice before it was given. Limited desserts so we all couldn’t have one. Some people said the food was warm not hot. Not once did the host/owner come over and ask how everything was!! There were problems waiting for the bill and then the staff realised it was wrong. Over all food was nice but probably will not return.

Great food. Love Giros on a Wednesday. Only problem is they say open until 8 but they rarely are. I always get to them about 7:30/45 after getting the kids to bed and they're closed more often than open. It would help if they updated their FB page or answered the phone.

Been meaning to try Exo Poli for ages and took the plunge last night-it was lovely! The food was very tasty and took me back to Greece as much as is possible on a January night in the UK! The ambience is very cosy and we look forward to returning in the summer to sit outside.

I was looking forward to trying Exo Poli but was massively disappointed. I was put on an ice cold wooden chair, asked for a G&T to be told at 7pm they had no ice by the waitress who didn’t even apologise (on a Sat night where you can buy ice from shops?!) then the food arrived & it was lukewarm/cold & far too much that it was actually overwhelming. I was alarmed at how much we all left which was such a waste because the portions were just so big. My friend asked for a large glass of wine & she got a small glass so asked why & to be told they didn’t have enough of the wine to make it a large one?! It was all just like a scene out of Faulty Towers but what upset me most was the tiled floor was so slippy I nearly slipped & broke my ankle & the kitchen looked uncleaned with an oven/hob thick of grease. I don’t ever write reviews but I had to because I am so surprised with all the raving reviews of this restaurant! I would have spoke to the owner but a friend warned me not to because he gets cross if you complain!!!!

This is the food your mother would feed you. It's not fine dining, but it is very lovingly prepared for you. Be prepared to be stuffed.

Honestly the BEST food I’ve eaten in Shrewsbury since moving here… and there’s some good eateries! Beautiful food, warm and welcoming staff, authentic Greek family vibes - it really does feel like a little piece of Greece in the heart of Shropshire! We will definitely be back!

Brilliant place to go to for wonderful traditional Greek food. Such an array of foods to choose from. Took me back to a holiday I had in Crete. Lovely informal and live music and dancing..friendly staff.a very enjoyable evening.

Beautiful evening, the sun was shining and authentic greek music playing in the background, we thought we were on holiday. Only managed a main meal as so filling. Delicious chicken gyros, the chicken was very flavoursome and very tasty seasoning on the chunky chips. The chef I assume owner, even went around every table in the restaurant asking if everything was ok. We will be back.

Amazing food, generous portions. I have been looking for a Greek restaurant locally and didn't realise that this gem was in Shrewsbury. We dined whilst Exo Poli was catering for a baby shower, and were bowled over by the quality and quantity of the food and the efficient and friendly service. Will definitely return!

We went here for my mums birthday and i thought my mum knew the owner she was that nice i had a massive burger with pickles,feta cheese and on the side chips and at the end of the meal the owner gave us desserts FREE OF CHARGE😀😀

Ok, sorry it’s a short walk out of town. But so is the Acropolis.. The food that is really good, & the service v friendly. Highly recommend.

Been meaning to try this place for a little while. On a Wednesday evening (from 5:30pm onwards) it is Chicken Gyros takeaway and it is proving very popular, I was almost queueing out of the door. There is a Haloumi Gyros option or mixed and also a Greek Salad plus cake. Also if you purchase drinks you can eat in the the very pleasant rear garden. The Chicken Gyros is very tasty and a meal in itself, I haven't tried the Haloumi option but if the chicken is anything to go by I imagine it will be just as good and essentially just the same as a Greek Gyros. Quite a healthy option for just £5

A fantastic taste of Crete in Shrewsbury. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, great choice from a menu that changes weekly (see their Facebook page) and plentiful portions! Fantastic great food great people

So good to finally get to eat out and Exo Poli didn't disappoint. A great selection of authentic Greek food. It's good to try lots of smaller dishes and share. We ate under cover in their new decked garden area. My sister-in-law was able to bring her dog too which was useful. Great friendly service by knowledgeable staff.
