Busy but despite this, speed of service was very good, staff very attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious with an excellent and varied menu. Good atmosphere, would definitely return.

Often go here for coffee but first time we had lunch. Great food which we all enjoyed and lots of interesting choices for vegetarians. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Terrible experience unfortunately. Drinks ordered before breakfast arrived wrong, the server was apologetic and immediately offered to replace, which was not a problem however the new drinks didn't arrive until after we all finished our food and were waiting to leave. I had asked and reminded the team a couple of times prior and was told they were coming and when I eventually asked to just cancel these drinks as I wanted to leave, I was told they were ready, (they weren't) and so they were put into a to go cup instead but I just left the drink behind as we were given the wrong drinks order AGAIN. They have squeezed far too many tables tightly packed into this space so you can barely move. You are trapped or constantly bumping the other tables as you try and squeeze through with your backside in someone's face and food. It's very uncomfortable and the staff are clearly overwhelmed with trying to manage the sheer volume of people rammed in. One couple who were shown to their table actually left immediately when they saw how cramped it was, even though they arrived to dine with friends. The food was ok, the sausage patty was tasty but the hectic atmosphere and service was not something I will ever return for. Big disappointment after reading postive reviews and bringing visiting family for a Sunday breakfast.

To me, the customer service and food is excellent..I had a warm chicken salad, which was plentiful, tasty and sensibly priced. From the minute you step through the door, to the moment you leave, no matter how busy they are, the staff are friendly and make you feel special. Your business is clearly appreciated and when there are so many choices in the town, I think they've got it right.

Dog friendly lovely bar/cafe serving a wide range of lovely food and cakes. The young man that served us was very diligent while being unobtrusive.

One of the best cafes in shrewsbury by far! Absolutely love going here for coffee or a bite to eat. The food is gorgeous and staff always attentive. I always take family and friends here when they visit shrewsbury.

Good breakfast, but gets incredibly loud and echoey when slightly busy

Sadly this venue has changed the seating layout which now resembles a cafeteria rather than the cultured European vibe it used to portray. With so many tables squeezed in together the noise levels were unpleasantly loud. Service etiquette has also changed with empty plates being removed from tables before all parties had finished their meals. Making customers feel rushed. The food was still of good quality.

Great place, excellent food, and first-class service. The Downside is that it's very cold as the main door is left open and the cold wind blows in 🙄🙄🙄

I wanted to love this place & the service was very good, but the food & menu really lacked. If you’re going to do something…do the absolute best & this place could use a kick-in-the-pants where the food is concerned.

The restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere, and the food certainly lives up to its reputation.

I believe in every adventure brings out greatness, this place succeeded. Perfect end of summer bike ride in just a shirt. The coffee is fantastic, the 3 cups, wow. We both had a main with a desert to share with two forks. Shrewsbury is a lovely town, lots of history with its 'shut's', English Bridge and so forth. Came back for a December visit, time we had the pre xmas menu. Fantastic!. Another trip here. Another one with mate. Tokyo drift, flat bread.

Had a lovely sourdough butty here, great service, excellent food, had asked for crispy bacon and that is what I received! Many places fail, well done everyone.

Went for lunch with the in-laws today. Staff were so welcoming, attentive and just lovely! Food was fabulous (sour dough toast was a little too crunchy, but that's sour dough bread for you!) My husband said it was probably the best all day breakfast he has ever had, good quality ingredients, really good thick bacon but cooked so well and the rind was perfectly rendered. I don't know how your chef can possibly make so many perfectly poached eggs, so well, so quickly! The restaurant is immaculately clean and the atmosphere was "Grand". Thank you for a lovely lunch.

(Revised 5 stars)Been going for several weeks now, having capucino and chocolate orange cake. Was the best. Dropped from 5 stars to 3 today tried a mocha frappe, worst I have ever had, flat cool not iced flavoured milk, shame as the capucino is exceptionally good, and the cake previously delicious was dry and a little hard. Hopefully a bad day. Left and went to Cafe Nero for a delicious frappe.

I popped out for lunch with two adult monsters, one having DS. Our service was exceptional and the food was yummy. I had eggs Benedict, my son being that awkward eater had cheese burger and chips, my daughter a pistachio cake. All the food was amazing. Make sure you take some cash for a tip, I had forgotten mine😞 Anazibg service with Amazing people. Thank you for cheering me up x

Came in today for lunch for the first time Excellent service Food was really tasty had the beef kofta on the flat bread it was so good Great atmosphere Definitely will eat here again I don't live in Shrewsbury but visit quite regular Will definitely be back next time I'm in Shrewsbury for the day

Great little place owned and brilliantly managed by an attentive and courteous fellow.

Lovely little cafe in the centre of Shrewsbury. A delicious selection of flatbreads and the pistachio cake was devine. Coffee was good too. Lovely friendly service with the backdrop of Historical tudor architecture. @My Bucket List At 60.

Years ago the foods used to be lovely but now it has changed maybe new chef. I had grilled chicken with bacon gluten free sandwich club, asked swap to feta cheese instead of melted cheddar cheese but still charged for feta cheese! Also few months ago I had vegetarian breakfast - halloumi cheese it was over cooked, avocado were bit brown , poached eggs were uncooked.

Did not have to ask for water for the dog, just brought one out. Food was amazing.

Used to love this place but the last 2 times I have been the food ordered does not match what is written on the menu but they still expect you to pay the full price-not exactly fair. E.g I ordered something which has Pomegranate sauce, fresh mint, coriander on it and it came without. They said that they had run out but this has happened to me twice now. Change the menu to reflect your ingredients. It was a very boring dish without these touches

Visited this Cafe on Saturday 15th July 2023.Ordered four full breakfasts and mine arrived with mushrooms and black pudding. Asked for scrambled eggs to be well cooked and two meals had to be returned. Ran out of sourdough bread and not even informed especially as all the items mentioned were clearly part of the breakfast advertised. Spoke to the supervisor who showed very little concern. Customer Service very poor though our waitress was very apologetic and caring. I did not have another breakfast and won't be visiting again. Should have gone elsewhere. Shrewsbury is a superb town to visit but breakfast let us down big time. Reiss Austin Oliver.

Visited Sunday afternoon with high hopes based on the menu & description of ‘artisan cafe’ combined with relatively premium price point, but left very disappointed. I hate returning anything (or reviewing), but we had to return food 3 times due to it not matching the menu and missing items. The first was missing coriander & spring onions, which they gave back to us covered in a layer of dill. When we asked again they informed us they had no coriander. (approx 30 mins since ordering). The vegan breakfast just looked completely underwhelming / not as expected, then when we noticed there was no mushrooms they said oh they chef has given you extra (bland) tomato’s, as we’ve ran out of mushrooms. Overall it just seemed like very naive service (I.e tell us in advance what’s missing or offer good alternatives proactively and complete uncertainty as to what should be on each plate or how to respond to any request) combined with kitchen staff that wanted to be at home asap. We won’t be re-visiting unfortunately, other than to get a takeaway coffee as they were delicious.

Since moving to Shropshire 18-months ago, we’ve been looking for THE cafe. Equipped with ambience; amazing customer service; awesome food at decent prices and of course great coffee. We found it today, here at Peaberry. The service was so fast, the staff were on point and attentive and the food came in less than ten minutes (one of which was a full English breakfast), there were so many options to choose from. Their Mocktails were huge! And the cakes looked amazing. Thank you so, so much

Very friendly staff and food was lovely, however they got my order wrong. I ordered the full English, the waitress asked me if I wanted extra beans and I said no. It was then given to me with beans but I didn’t think anything of it as she said “extra beans”. After getting home, I realised I’d been charged for the beans when I hadn’t even ordered them. I did eat them though in the end as I didn’t want to make a fuss. Also it came with poached eggs as we also ordered the eggs Benedict, the eggs were so overdone. They were beyond hard boiled. It was a let down. The quality of food was excellent apart from the overcharge and the eggs.

Really lovely selection of home cooked food. We had a really good brunch in this busy yet friendly cafe.

The perfect place to stop when roaming around Shrewsbury for a bit of lunch. The falafel flatbread and salad bowl (vegan options) were fresh and really tasty. I asked for more yoghurt on my flatbread and they were very obliging. Would highly recommend.

A pleasant experience at this cafe, plenty of seating and friendly staff. The food was a little underwhelming, with a great looking menu my expectations were high. The eggs were over cooked and the meat was cold.

Very good for Vegans, it is a Vegan restaurant, but also able to offer Gluten free as well.We had a late breakfast very nice though not cheap, Vegan produce is expensive, so the prices are understandable. Will be going again soon.

Over priced. I had eggs Royal, partner had eggs benadict , she'll found in hers , toast over cooked. £10 for 2 non runny poached eggs and sour dough toast.. was ok but not compared to the charge.

Very busy. Been before when it's less busy and service was better. Seemed a little chaotic. Things missed. Perhaps not enough people for a busy lunchtime. Main door doesn't close properly so you might be in a draft. Interesting to see how qui kly it gets fixed. Food is always good, well cooked and presented.

Staff working so hard and doing such a good job at a busy time. Delicious flatbread. All in all a great experience.

Lovely place to eat, great service; an extra chair was added to a 2 person table so we could dine as a party of 3. Very busy place, rather small spaces between tables and sometimes incredibly noisy.

Visited this cafe for the second time today. We thoroughly enjoyed it last time but this time was absolutely awful. The service was terrible. We arrived and got seated fast which is great, but then the wait staff proceeded to ignore us making direct eye contact to order? When our waitress did finally take our order, we were midway through ordering when the manager came over, cut us off, told us we had to move and then proceeded to try and take our order whilst seating people at the same time. For an establishment that charges a table service fee, this just wasn't it. We left without eating, and it's the first time I've ever done that in a restaurant. Not worth the time

Had a lovely brunch with a friend, staff were lovely and food was great, I had pancakes which were lovely. However when I used the toilet it certainly was not the cleanest. There was a lot of dust around and it just felt a bit grubby sadly.

Mixed experience over my last two visits. My first was at a weekend and the service and food was good, quick and good quality. Second visit was during the week and whilst they were quick to take our order our drinks took almost 20 mins to arrive, the food arrived a while after and mine was cold and disappointing. By this point we were so hungry we just paid and left. I'm not sure if we'd be back again as there are so many nice places to eat in Shrewsbury we're spoilt for choice really.

Thought I try out Peaberry, was my first time but I had the most horrific experience ever!!! I wouldn't even rate them at all!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! I ordered the Hand of God dish, found plastic in food. When I reported it, the waitress casually said, "oh it's just cling film, it will melt away". She brought the food back that I sent back. Surely you wouldn't have cling film or Plastic in your food!!!! These waitresses need to educate themselves!!! These people don't care what they serve people and to have the kind of response from waitress I had was shocking!!!! There was no manager at the place! The lady waitress didn't careless!!! Never going back!!! Peaberry doesn't deserve any stars!!!!!

Delicious lunch - the quirckily-named "Hand of God".

The best breakfast I have ever had. Came here with my Mother after looking at the menu online, “The Espanol” immediately grasped my attention and I was excited to try it. We ordered some beautiful fresh orange juice and water for the table, the staff were friendly and helpful and the whole affair was very calm and smooth. The food came in a timely manor and when it arrived I knew I had made an excellent choice. A good portion with healthy ratios of all components not to mention it’s visual appeal. Served on a fried sourdough toast which is my favourite bread, not too tough or soft, topped with tomato’s, Sobrasada, red onion, crispy potato and two wonderfully fried eggs. The flavours compliment each other perfectly. Sprinkled with bit of salt I was in heaven, especially as someone who can be a bit temperamental with both tomato’s and eggs it was out of this world. I was initially worried that it may be a bit dry but there was no need for this, all of the juices and textures fill your mouth with flavour in every bite. Thankyou, I can’t wait until I can come again.

Well sorry but I really cannot agree with some of the previous posts. Decided to have a 'couldn't carelesterol' breakfast to start my 71st birthday after googling around to find the best breakfast in Shrewsbury. Chose the Peaberry. My partner and I live in Nantwich so we starved until we got there. Our breakfasts appeared quite nice on the plates although eggs were hard on both meals. I have never paid £11.50 for a big breakfast(your Fully Loaded) and then be charged an additional £1.40 for a tiny little pot of baked beans !!! Likewise my partner's meal had £1.30 added to it for a small portion of mushrooms !!! 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts totalling £30.30 !!! That's 'taking the P at the Peaberry'

Food was nice and staff where friendly

We received a warm welcome on entry to the Peaberry Cafe and were taken to a table for two. We placed an order for hot drinks, which were 2 very tasty coffee’s. We placed lunch orders for: Artisan sourdough toast, 2 poached eggs and avocado and Artisan eggy bread toast with bacon, tomatoes and avocado. The meals were absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with you guys and felt we needed to give you a glowing review Thank you x

Normally love this place for breakfast but the food was not up to good standards today! Had eggs royal, bread was cold and soggy and it was swimming in hollindase sauce. Asked for an iced latte but it came with some form of sweetener! Not the best experience in Peaberrys today

I took my daughter here for a bite to eat today. We ordered an oreo milkshake, americano, American breakfast and an all day breakfast. The order was taken quickly and the guy who served us was lovely but the food took ages to arrive. My daughter had long finished her drink and my coffee had gone cold while I waited for my food to accompany it. The food when it arrived was of good quality ingredients but this was overshadowed by the fact that the black pudding and hash brown was cold and the poached egg was more hard boiled in consistency. We ate hungrily, paid and left. The young man who served us worked incredibly hard and the cafe was very busy. Maybe more staff were needed, or maybe it's not usually as busy. I'd be prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt If I was in Shrewsbury again.

Fab food and wonderful staff- always such a pleasure going here. Have just eaten in for a meal for the first time today. The place is well organised and clean, would've given it five star's except for the ladies toilet floor being abit of a mess- but won't stop me returning as these guys are brilliant and service is always with a smile🥰Well done Peaberrys.

Just had an almond latte and it was delicious! Looking at the menu there is plenty to come back for, including vegan options such as a salad bowl, a sourdough melt, and a vegan breakfast with Moving Mountains sausage.

Great place for food and drinks

Food is fresh, clean and wholesome. Service is attentive, quick but not overbearing. Toilets are clean. I enjoyed my visit.

Just had a fantastic breakfast here. Really tasty food and excellent coffee. (The picture shows their "Fully Loaded House All Day Breakfast" with the black pudding replaced by extra hash browns.)

My Mum and I came here for a brunch whilst staying in Shrewsbury and we were both extremely happy with our food. (We ordered Eggs Royal and Tex-Mex Vegetarian) Really lovely atmosphere and very friendly people.

Broken teapot and they didn't offer to refill my teapot after half had poured over the table. Scrambled eggs were quite watery- water actually sitting on my plate when served. Pork patty slightly undercooked. Female toilet disgusting. Sink blocked. Hands felt more dirty coming out than going in. Plus side, nice location and cool map of Shrewsbury on the wall.
