The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

Such a lovely little restaurant, i feel like our experience wasn’t reflective of how it usually is but felt it necessary to share. First the positives! Allergies taken seriously, communication when ordering. Food tasted great also, can’t knock the flavours. Sadly, the service for us was poor. We watched every other table get an appetiser, if we didn’t get it because of my allergy it would’ve been nice to be told. It took 50 minutes for us to get our starter of flat bread. Tables that came in after us had eaten two courses as we were only getting our first. It had been forgotten so if we never asked it wouldn’t have ever come. When the mains did come the order was wrong, not the end of the world because we were so hungry we just ate it. (They did offer us a small portion of what we had tried to order to begin with which was nice) Overall, the staff were kind but we just felt so forgotten about. A shame, but I would 100% give them a second go.

Fast becoming our go-to when we want to pop out for lunch. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing and being a self-confessed coffee snob, I have to say it is probably the best I have had in Sheffield! The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere and decor take you to another place, away from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside!

Only recently found the jazz bar. Good atmosphere, friendly and good food. You don't have to be a massive jazz fan to enjoy this place.

His name is Jack and he decided to leave England to join me in Paris where I live.. we also spent our NYE 2023/2024 at Picture House Social and It is like our lil tradition. Disappointing Experience – Michelin Recommended? Really? I had high expectations due to the Michelin recommendation, but this visit was a letdown from start to finish. The food was mediocre at best—dry fish (seriously, cod??), bland flavors, and everything felt carelessly thrown together. There was no passion or creativity on the plate. Overall, the entire experience lacked, quality, and attention to detail. I honestly don’t understand how this place earned a Michelin nod.

Great place to eat. Good food, lovely people, good value. We had a fab meal and the chef was so funny. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Fue nuestra primera visita y ambos tuvimos una comida en el menú establecido que era de dos platos por £ 17. 95 . Fue una noche agradable y ambos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas que estaban recién preparadas y cocinadas. Recomendaría visitar y volveremos pronto.

Six thirteen has insane food, great service and not to expensive, and this is coming from someone who loves food and knows it professionally trust me go there, it definitely worth it from your boy Binyomin Parnes

Great range of beer with clued up staff. Really tasty food too. Check out the chicken tikka and Asian slaw flatbread.
