Had a fab bottomless brunch here a few weeks ago, really happy. Brad and Charlie Looked after us and put up with our girly high spirits :D thanks for the great playlist too. Would recommend. Banging pizza.

A very unusual vibe to this place, it doesn't feel friendly and welcoming, many of the staff came across quite standoffish. The place has so much potential, but is in desperate need of a lick of paint, and some fresh decor, it looks really weathered. The pizza is, unfortunately, some of the worst pizza I have ever eaten... I was so excited because it smelled amazing, but it came out rock solid, and tasted like a poor quality frozen pizza. The chips were very nice, which redeemed the food slightly. Our favourite part was the shuffleboard, which was fun, but I don't think I would return here. From the way it is portrayed online, I was expecting a totally different atmosphere, very disappointing...

Had my daughter's birthday party here, making use of the cinema room. We had catered pizza and chips. Venue was great, staff were excellent and had everything set up ready for when we arrived. Excellent all round.

The bar staff were hardworking and friendly but we were let down on food. Or rather the lack of it. We booked table for food for 2 people but we're told on arrival that the kitchen couldnt take an order for 45 minutes. After checking a couple more times we will told the same thing. In the end we left as it was getting far too late to eat and there was no guarantee we would be able to order. Really disappointing.

I would like to thank all the staff that went above and beyond with help for our daughters wedding reception we had so much fun and the food was so good !

Great cocktails and brunch food, bit pricey but the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we all had a great time!

Nobody in, too dark, sticky floor, expensive cask (over £3 for half unless that was their mistake), no water in gents toilet, hopefully the male bar staff have access to better facilities! General dive and should give up or improve

Good place, good drinks, good staff - but could be better! Gents toilets are absolutely riddled though. I'm sure there's been no water to the taps for a good month. Credit to my rating that it still scrapes 3/5 stars tbh! Joking apart, I doubt I'd eat there until the toilets are up to a good standard, sorry chaps!

Had a brilliant night. Venue is fab. The pizzas are delish. Went to the comedy club which is once a month. Such a laugh and all for a fiver.

Great drinks and music. Good conversation with locals. Games rooms with table tennis and shuffle board and excellent 2 4 1 pizzas each Monday. There now a bigger DJ booth and space to dance. New bar now and rapid service.

A bit too noisy at 9pm for this old duffer, but prompt and friendly service of cocktails. Menu a bit on the fruity side IMO, but that's down to taste - there's a Talisker based Old Fashioned on there that might be worth a punt tho!

A really fun bar with several rooms, lots of games and a good choice of beers. Great music and DJs, too!

6 of us went for the disco brunch, it was fantastic! Really nice excellent quality cocktail's and they were very generous! The staff were so lovely and really looked after us. The food was delicious too! We will definitely come back when we are next in Sheffield.

6 of us booked PHS for the brunch yesterday. Food was great, music was great, cocktails were bang on and staff couldn't have done any more for us. Worth every penny and a lovely afternoon. Thank you.

The Picture House absolutely saved the day for us! We had a room booked somewhere else for a friend’s son’s birthday party but got stood up. Went to the Picture House to ask if we could bring a group of 14 children over and staff not only agreed to host a 6 year-old birthday party but went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and had a good time. They gave us plates, opened the ping pong table and gave us a whole room to ourselves!!! Staff were absolutely brilliant and I’m going to rave about the Picture House and it’s wonderful team with everyone for long long time. Thank you SO much. What set up to be a horrible day turned out to be an exciting party for parents and children. The birthday boy also sends his special thanks!

Had a nice time at Picture House Social hanging out with a friend. Good selection of beers with nice seating options. Friendly staff throughout the venue. The Shuffleboard was decently priced and extremely fun to do! The pizzas there were a bit overpriced for the portion size but otherwise had a great evening out here. Planning to come back soon!

Crazy, cool, fun place. Got some space outside though the sun can struggle to get round to it and then an underground feel inside. Plenty of beer and food options to keep having fun all night and a lovely quiz too

After feeling bit dubious about going here and not expecting much how wrong I was! This hidden beauty was amazing from when I went down the stairs. The brunch was spot on thanks Ewan, Alex and Sam. And the bar staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and funny with bottomless drinks in constant supply thanks to Maddison, Gabe and Jack. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Next time will fit a game of ahuffle shack in too🥰🥰

Picture House hosted our all Operational Change Team summer event (Aviva) last week and the whole event was amazing. We had exclusive hire of the games room, cinema room and shuffle boarding. I have had tonnes and tonnes of feedback from everyone who attended the event to say how much fun they had. The games room enabled us to play competitive games of table tennis, the cinema room enabled us to have a sing song on karaoke and shuffle boarding was a whole new fun experience and we couldn’t get the team off it. The pizzas and the rest of the food was incredible and perfect for this type of event. The hosting by the staff was second to none and nothing was ever too much or out of the way for them. We would absolutely return here for another social and I look forward to coming back in the future. An extra shout out to Dani for all of the effort she has put in by helping me plan this event and making sure it all ran smoothly on the night. Thank you Team Picture House!

Went here for food and drinks on a Friday evening, really lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. Pizza was amazing, new menu was great way more choices. We have the lamb pizza and the blue cheese and mushroom, both fab! Had poutine as well which was just as good! Will definitely be coming back

Really disappointed by the lack of communication about disabled access here. Very difficult to get a response on the phone or via email to questions about accessibility. When my friend eventually got a response, they were told the place was "disabled friendly". When we arrived it became clear that this just isn't true: step-free access to the terrace is via a gravel path and there are then steps up to the seating area. There is no disabled toilet. I'd have appreciated it if the staff had just been honest about this but, since they weren't, I won't be going back.

First visit was great! I couldn’t believe what a fantastic atmosphere there was in such a hidden place. Second time was very different. Went for a ‘bottomless brunch’ for a hen party. The manager was serving our table and I can’t explain how rude she was. Bending over in our faces, talking over us, sarcastically smiling whilst we were trying to explain our issue with her attitude. We only asked for drinks, she told us we had to finish the first lot before she would make more but refused to listen when we were telling her we HAD finished, the glasses we had on the table were actually filled with melted ice! The food was lovely but some of us had to eat on our knee as there wasn’t enough room on the table. Would definitely recommend going to one many alternative places if looking for a bottomless brunch.

I hired the middle room for a party for family and friends with a lane of the shuffleshack for the evening. We all had a fantastic time.

Too drunk to truly give an accurate rating. Felt like a massive place with loads of different areas. May need to go back when sober.

This place is literally hidden. You would hardly know it was there from street level. It's set in the cavernous basement of Abbeydale picture house. The main bar is really attractive, quite retro in appearance. We called in Saturday afternoon when the DJ was playing chilled house music. It's a bit tatty but that's part of the attraction. Get a larger sign up outside or maybe let's keep it a secret!!

This place is pretty cool, so many different things to do here like shuffleboard on the floor, Sports on TV, and a comedy show the night we were there. It is completely the vibe I like, very dive bar ish. Staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable about their jobs. There is a nice patio out back but it was raining the day we were there. We were there to catch up with friends and just relax so we didn't get up to any of the activities, but we did each have a pizza and shared some fries. Everything was delicious and my vegetarian Friends were happy! It's very funky here and I really like that, it's a fun place to hang out and socialize. If you use the Ladies definitely push the button! 😀

A lovely food & game pub at S7 region. The shuffle shack is definitely a very interesting yet frustrating game as well because I was bad at it. But it s definitely nice game night with friends. Though the food still has some room for improvement as my pizza base had a few burnt regions. Nevertheless, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We hired the table tennis and cinema rooms for my friends hen do and had a brilliant time! I had help organising with Cody and Dani from PHS and it was super easy. We were pretty much allowed to do what we wanted, decorate how we like and left to it just like we were in our own home which was great as sometimes places can be quite precious and check up on you constantly, that being said, if we needed help with something someone was quickly on hand to assist. We were also allowed to play our own music into the room. We had pizzas which are always delicious. Special mention to Tom and Gabriel who had the patience of saints when helping us use the projectors for karaoke and when the USBs we brought for our own videos weren’t working. The team also made sure all our things we wanted to collect the next day were placed in a safe space. Would defos recommend if you need a great space to hire for an event. Thanks so much for a great evening 😃

they've removed their gig room and replaced it with shuffle board - a really baffling and short sighted decision as before the pandemic this was one of the best music venues in the city

Rate good bar. Acoustics in the tennis room need a think (get something to soften it in there please thanks) and the layout of bar needs a redesign to make most of the space. Apart from that its dead mint and old fashions are on point

I absolutely love this place. The vibe is just so chill, the games are fun and I love the tasty cocktails. Never a bad night when we go here :)

The beer was OK pretty standard peroni, nothing exciting, no local lagers. The worst thing was trying to order food from a qr code. The bartender was very reluctant to place an order for food even when I told her that my phone couldn't scan it. All alot of faf for a pizza. Not be going there anytime soon. Improve your customer service skills maybe visit again.

Mate. I'm not even sure if I can quantify how badass this place is. They have awesome beer. They make amazing food. They have an outdoor area that makes you feel like you're on holiday, they have a games arcade. And it's all WELL PRICED.

Don’t seem to care about social distancing at all. In picture house right now watching the football. There is a table of 8 - which the staff can all see but don’t seem to care about policing at all. Really disappointing.

Table of 9 currently seated and being served. Been served by 3 different staff members and the manager. Tables filthy dirty so clearly not sanitising between customers. Absolutely gobsmacked.

Really nice place! It is definitely different and had a bit of edge to it. You walk down the stairs and there's the bar. They do some food as well and we had the katsu chips and they were lovely

My partner and I spontaneously decided to go for food at Picture Social House. I was almost sure that we are not gonna be able to find a table without a booking and I was right. It was fully booked but the host was really polite and he suggest that we can sit on a bench and an old barrel was our table and it was actually really cool!!! We both had the beef pizza which was really good and the Henderson's fries which were an absolute heaven!!! And I am absolutely sure that they were home made and not from a packet because they reminded me of my grandma's fries from the olden days! 5 stars!!! 💜

Decent venue but a bit of a posers paradise

Quirky bar and venue under a historic cinema. Cocktail menu and its own pizzaria with great handmade pizzas (including my favourite, with anchovies!) and authentic arancini. An individual feel, not like the massive chain venues!

As a bar it’s ok, it has a lot of dead space in the middle of the floor with seating round the edge which can work well as a dance floor but feels a bit empty when there aren’t many people in. However I like the beer garden and staff usually friendly

One of the great venues in Sheffield.

Worth a visit for just the building itself, it's in the basement of an amazing old cinema. Take a walk through, there are a few surprises depending on how many rooms are open. Beyond the main bar room, there's ping pong, a small theatre, a bigger room for gigs and a patio out back too. Bar is great with a few good beer taps, cocktails, and generally lovely bunch of folks behind it. Love the zucchini fries and the pizza is thin stone baked style with really interesting toppings (in a good way 😁). The sauce spread for your fries is top notch too.

Anyone able give original Sheffield and original place that as someone not able pay to watch the place as it takes what pays to stop me being in the racism spot to add anyone not in the local community with why it usually would be my look if not racism then the property in Skegness should soon be full as the promotion paid by any area am yet proud say with my property and details it best look for an online destination I can order the history lesson of the future like it ever happened and still easy if not taken so long not be Back ha
