Only the best made and bought here. Been coming for years - and have never been dissapointed. The variety of savouries and cakes are exceptional all home made and can be enjoyed in a rurual - peaceful setting. Indoors or outside with picnic tables available.

My sister and I enjoyed a delicious coffee and scone here, then bought some wonderful treats to take home - handmade chocolates that look too beautiful to eat, cannoli and frangipane. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere, with a sleepy and contented cat keeping an eye on things from her comfy seat by the wood-burner. Ellie's creations are a joy to behold and they taste lovely. The only downside is the impossible task of choosing which of them to try!

What a fantastic find. A bit off the beaten track, but it is so worth it. The cakes alone are amazing. Everything baked on the premises. The pies are very good. Nice atmosphere if you are staying in to eat and the staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely on our list to return.

Stopped by on a walk today for a cappucino! Stunning little coffee shop, with a fire too!! Couldn't help but grad a home made sausage roll and a brownie which were both great. Delightful! Super friendly atmosphere, the two ladies in there were lovely. 5* would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely beautiful cakes all handmade. The chocolates look amazing and make great gifts. We had our daughters afternoon tea ‘hen party for the older generation’ here and it was superb nothing was too much trouble

Amazing bakery and coffee shop. The cakes and handmade chocolate are out of this world. The savoury selection is also really good. There is the added bonus of seating in the spacious orchard where you can watch the chickens going about their business, admire the fruit trees and listen to the birds singing. A real treat!

The best little bakery ever! In an idyllic, peaceful setting, you’ll find delicious cakes, chocolates and pastries. Banter with the owner is an optional extra. We love sitting outside on a dry day. Bliss!

An absolute gem of a place, well worth a visit for a delicious cake (or two) and a cuppa. Apart from that the chocolate selection is out of this world, handmade with love obviously. The staff are always very pleasant even when they are busy, I must say that sometimes there is a short wait which is very bad for my wallet as there is a wide variety of deliciousness all around and all too tempting! Apart from that this place is perfect 😍

This is an absolute gem of a place and I’m so happy to discover it since my move up north! Ellie gives a warm welcome in her lovely bakery which has both indoor and outdoor seating. On my last visit with a friend we enjoyed delicious cakes and tea sitting in the orchard area. Ellie works tirelessly to produce the most amazing hand made cakes and savouries all from scratch. Way better than anything you see on Bake Off! Her hand made chocolates are amazing as well as her Easter eggs . My only problem is that when I visit I can’t choose what to have and want to eat it all 😊. A must visit for anyone travelling on the A64 past Scampston.

Lovely coffeeshop with homemade cakes and pastries. Food is always fresh and tasty and the chocolates are to die for. Always bring home something for later too... Friendly staff and handy location for stopping for a break, if you are en route to Scarborough or York directions. Can't recommend this place enough.

Set in the grounds of a lovely farm, Ellie and here team have created the best home from home welcoming atmosphere I've ever experienced in a cafe. It's an absolute delight to go back every time and we'll worth a visit.

A lovely bakery and coffee shop. The pastries are delicious and the cakes are something else 😍. We have been numerous times and always had a friendly welcome, plenty of seating inside and out, warm and cosy when the log burner is on. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely place, cakes & pastries are sublime. Can eat on or takeaway. Tucked away off the main A64 but well worth the detour.

We followed the signs from the main road. Bakery? A hand ful of pies and flakey pastry that looked so dry I didn't bother. Did have cakes. We were after lunch. No menu. No sandwiches. No panini's. No lunch options. We were very disappointed with the options and headed along the road. If u want tea coffee and cake, it's a good option. Limited outside seats but has inside seating. I don't recommend, pass it by.

Lovely bakery and coffee shop, a short drive off the A64. We had really good pork pies and delicious cake. The coffee was good and we bought Belgian chocolate to take home, that was very nice too. They also had quiche and steak pies, which looked good too. We will definitely call again.

Being called a bakery we expected to be able to buy bread... but no .. just no. It was a coffee shop that sold cakes. The staff were rude and not pleasant. One of the staff members shooed off a cat by clapping and scaring it away. Wasn't nice to watch being cat lovers.

Visited this establishment ' on entry was abruptly told not dog friendly ' we asked if they did Sandwiches they replied just what you can see' which was a few over priced pasties ' and some very nice looking cakes: unfortunately the pasties were very avarage' and cakes Completely tastless' the atmosphere was like a scene from American wherwolf in London when they walked into the slaughtered lamb very strange I would say avoid unless you like over priced tastless food and rude company.

Just been in and the food is lovely. Dog friendly however, don't allow dogs in the inside cafe. We sat in the field which dogs can access with picnic tables and sun umbrellas. 100% recommend a visit 🙂 Thank you Tom, San & Jake 🐾

Called in when travelling to Scarborough area, all home made cakes, chocolates and loads of other goodies. One of the best pasties I've had and the stem ginger cake was tremendous! A bit off the beaten track but DEFINITELY worth a visit. Steak pie was fantastic, no pasties left today 😢 Scone with jam n cream was lovely too! Such a great place off the A64.

I went with a group of friends and I had a fruit scone with butter and jam to go with an Americano coffee. It was all delicious. The display of cakes was mouthwatering and all my friends thoroughly enjoyed their choice. We will be back!

Magnificent! Best bakery I’ve ever been to! We come up from Wales to visit family in Rillington a few times a year and we always make sure we come to the Farmhouse Bakery. Everything sold here is of the highest quality. There are far too many options so a single visit isn’t enough. Decent indoor seating and a paddock just outside with plenty of benches which is a lovely place to eat when the weather allows. The staff are great, polite and helpful. Toilets are clean, always appreciated.

The bakery is awesome!! My Grandparents absolutely love it, we have to go every time they visit. I've been many times and like to try something different each visit. The layer cakes are fantastic and the frangipane tarts are very tasty.

Had a lovely visit this afternoon, I took my 1 year old and the 2 ladies there were so helpful and considerate getting me a high chair and carrying my tray to a table… the coffee was lovely and the tart that I had was a millionaire shortbread and it was sooo good!!!! I also bought a take away pork pie for my husband and he said it was probably the best he had had!!! Only live a short distance away so will definitely be back!! 💖

What a wonderful find. Great little cafe cakes are all home baked and so delicious plus savory pies etc to take home. Such a friendly lady who runs it and does all the baking. Looking forward to our next visit. Next time we go we shall miss out on lunch so we can sample more of those amazing cakes!

This coffee shop is one of the nicest cafes I've visited in the UK. I travel a lot and I love my coffee and cake and wherever I 'am my thoughts are always going back to that cake cabinet that's full of beautiful dreams. The atmosphere of the place brings you back to all the favourite places that you have visited in your life. The staff are warm and friendly. The interior is stunning and everything is made by Ellie the owner, an extraordinary person and the true artist of patisserie's! One of my favourite places to go to, in the summer one can sit outside in the beautiful nature settings and when the days are colder you can sit by the fireside having one of the best coffee's ever.

Sells toasties & pies. 6 tables inside, adjoining field with benches? Close to Scampton gardens. Cyclists. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest little surprise I've had on the road. The owner knows her chocolate. We just had the Belgian chocolate eclairs but they were simply gorgeous. The bar of milk chocolate was lovely as well. A real diamond out there definitely needs to be visited more.

So lucky to have this great little patisserie just round the corner from us. The cakes are delicious and the hot chocolate is gorgeous. We'll worth a visit if you are passing.

Absolutely beautiful homemade cakes, savouries and chocolates. Look on Facebook for photos of the 'naughties' cabinet!! Lovely coffee blends, nice variety of teas, clean with a very warm and friendly welcome. You can sit inside, just outside in the courtyard or in the paddock. I love this place.

If you're into coffee, tea and all things chocolate, then this is heaven. It's a little tucked away, but well worth checking out. The range of baking and chocolate on offer is amazing. Everything is made on the premises and it all looks incredible. I had a coffee and a big slice of chocolate cake, and it was bang on. The ladies running the place were very warm and friendly, too. An absolute must go to.

I called hoping to do business with the proprietor only to be refused, but in the friendliest way imaginable. I can clearly see why she and her business attract so many 5 star reviews. I will definitely be returning as a customer.

Visited for afternoon tea that my partner booked as a treat. On arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly staff who were very accommodating when I wanted to sit outside rather then inside . When the delightful afternoon tea was brought to the table (I’m guessing it was Ellie) went through everything on the 3 tier cake stand. Definitely something for everyone. Whilst there we were joined by a chicken (random but true) who shared a little of our afternoon tea. Everyone who passed us was very friendly and the food was great. There were lots of extra cakes on the afternoon tea which were all boxed up for us to take away. Was so lovely we bought extra cakes for our parents. All in all a lovely afternoon and will likely return in the near future
