I have bought 5 - 6 bikes from Cycle Heaven over the years. Their shops are awesome (especially Hospital Fields), offering a great selection of bikes and ebikes from some of the top brands, plus a wide range of accessories and clothing. The staff are fantastic - so knowledgeable and friendly too! Overall a brilliant experience, just how it should be :)

I called into the store as my voucher £5 pizza didn't work online. I was told that as they were so busy it was online orders only. It did not say this on the Internet, nor in the shop, they waited until I got to the till. He wouldnt even look at the voucher let alone do anything with it, and then had the cheek to say to me my voucher was for students only, whilst looking me up and down in front of a full room of other students (I'm a mature student doing a post grad) I explained I was a student and had my Identification. It ruined our night as we all ended up eating at different times. We never ended up getting the £5 pizza

If you'd like to pay £180 to stay in a retro 1990's Premier Inn, this is the one for you! Desperately dated decor and in need of a refurb 10 years ago. Surprised that the company can't invest in this hotel, given the high prices they charge. Stay somewhere of equivalent quality for less money or pay the same money and stay somewhere decent.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this hotel was. My room was clean, fresh, functional and comfortable. The price was more than fair. Breakfast, tasty and plentiful. But what really made my stay special was the welcoming friendly staff. Thank you. I can highly recommend the Premier Inn on Blossom Street in York.

After a few visits now, i wanted to review what i have decided is my favourite Italian restaurant in York. The last visit I had here was on Sunday. It was a quiet and calm atmosphere. I'd definitely book for a busier night, such as Saturday. The staff are very friendly and happy to chat and recommend things. It cost just under £60 for 2 of us. We had a starter to share, a main each, a dessert to share, and a couple of alcoholic drinks. For York city centre, this is about the average price. Portion sizes were great. The food tasted absolutely delicious. The calamari rings were the right amount of softness, with a beautiful crispy batter. However, a couple still had the stringy outer bit. This wasn't an issue for us and was still by far the nicest calamari we have been served in a while, but worth noting to set expectations. I had the Tagliatelle pollo e tartufo which tasted really good. Just the right amount of creaminess, and not watery. The overall experience is well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone visiting York.
