Stayed here with friends over several nights.the property needs urgent refurbishment and staff retraining. Receptionist and night porter together with the waiter in the Fat Abbot all haveappalling attitudes and create a very poor impression .All were extremely unhelpful and appeared to dislike their jobs which reflects in their service

Pequeño lugar super lindo! Mi compañero y yo probamos los bollos de bai y una boba de fresa. ¡Ambos eran encantadores! Jovencita trabajando allí era encantador y agradable también. Definitivamente inténtalo si estás caminando a través de la ruina.

Visitado después de leer reseña. Decepcionado de ser honesto. No volverá a visitarme. El camino de entrada era como un banco de botellas con bolsas de botellas vacías obstruyendo la entrada. La zona de comedor estaba un poco en el lado malo, el servicio era bueno, la limpieza de platos vacíos de clientes anteriores un poco en el lado lento. El tiempo de espera era bueno, lugar no demasiado ocupado. Ambiente ideal para los amantes de los perros. No demasiado impresionado con la comida, era consciente de que era vegano. El precio fue en el lado alto. £ 36 +, para tres bollos, un rollo de salchicha, 3 cafés de filtro y un jugo de manzana. No demasiado entusiasmado con los gatos que pueden vagar por el área de preparación de alimentos.

Really friendly staff great service and even better food

Twice rated 0 out of 5 stars for its hygiene. Inspectors found a filthy working area and tools and flies throughout the kitchen.

My daughter dropped her burger. I went back to the cattle shed and explained what had happened. They immediately replaced it free of charge. They were very kind to do that. The burger was absolutely lovely, will def visit again.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience here. The food was delivered upstairs without any cutlery. I didn't mind and went downstairs to get some, making sure I went to be Tiro so I was taking cutlery from the place I had ordered the food. The 2 chefs were busy, one had just brought the food to my table, I took a knife and fork from the counter and the man who had just delivered the food snapped my head off. I explained that I had just ordered from him and he hadn't brought us any cutlery... He had just been at my table 2 minutes before so I would have expected him to recognise me. He continued to look at me in disgust and shake his head at me... I found it hard to understand why someone could get so angry over disposable cutlery. I will not be ordering from here again.

As a visitor to York I popped in here on a whim, i was greeted by the lovely staff and left with a quality tasty sandwich and coffees. What a lovely place.

Fast friendly service & food was absolutely delicious

Solo encontramos esta fabulosa cafetería en nuestro último día de lo contrario habríamos estado allí todos los días! El café es el mejor que hemos tomado en mucho tiempo, y los pasteles se veían increíbles. Muy diferente. Compramos 2 preciosos panes de masa madre por £ 3. ¡10 cada uno, lo que a nuestro alrededor probablemente costaría casi cinco centavos cada uno!

Pasaba por aquí, así que mi amigo y yo paramos a tomar crepes. Pedí el ‘especial’ - una crepé de galleta - £ 4. 50 Mientras ella tomaba canela y crepe de azúcar El servicio era muy rápido y decente precio, el único problema era que mi crepé sabía un poco de lavado líquido. Pudo haber sido el embalaje utilizado para el crepé, o la limpieza de la sartén, ¡Por lo demás agradable!

Great food! Super great food. Dinning area just ok, nothing special but certainly nothing wrong with it. The owner came to visit while we waited for food. We were uncomfortable with his Nativism comments but wouldn’t oppose him in his homeland.
