Oriental Master Chef in York

been here a few times over the last month and has been one off the best iv had in a long time and deliverd fast and hot on arrival highly recommended.

Nice people who will cook whatever you like. Sauces are tasty. Unfortunately the quality of the meat is poor - very little flavour in it. If they improved the quality of the meat they would be great.

Ordered after hearing the salt and pepper chicken was the best in York. Unfortunately this particular batch was the dryest of York and the portion very small for a group sharing. Very disappointing!

I usually go there with my friends, or we order delivery to eat at home. We like their fish and 鱼香茄子🤔 I think is that dishes, can't remember the name. It's amazing delicious 😍😍😍

Very good Hong Kong style Chinese food!

Orderd with them forgot my chips and sauce when i phoned back they said they will deliver it within five minute it took them half an hour so all my food went cold when i called them about this they said they would knock ten percent off before all this happend i was a regular customer i do not reccomend anyeone going there !!!

Best salt and pepper chicken in york!!

My friend and i tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time as our usual Chinese takeaway was not open. I’m very dissapointed to say it ranks amongst the worst chinese meals we’ve ever had. The salt and pepper spare ribs were fatty and very dry . The chicken curry totally tasteless , the fried rice again totally dry and insipid and the spring rolls , much to our shock were cold !!!! Even the prawn crackers didnt taste right and came in a packet , tasted artificial . Judging by other reviews i’d initially thought we were just unlucky but surely not when every dish was awful

food pretty good....twice now I visited on a sunday DOH ! they are closed but it says they are 7 days a week on the menu annoying

It beats all Chinese restaurants I’ve ever went! Every dish is delicious, cooked in the way that the host is entertaining the guest, so different from any other restaurant. Strongly recommend Salad fried pork chop 沙拉猪排. One of my friends nearly cried because it’s too delicious LOL

Just had a meal here and everything was reheated including the rice which is extremely dangerous. The food was hot on the outside and cold in the middle and a member of the staff was asleep in the restaurant while we ate. There are many a Chinese to choose from in york especially in this area. I'd say steer clear from here

Friendly and welcoming service. Very quick and delicious meals at reasonable price. Parking is limited but well worth a visit!

My girlfriend is from canton province, so she loves this restaurant very much.

We had braised aubergine, 3 roasts with rice and Chinese toast belly pork, chinese tea for 2 bill came to £26.50 Everything was well cooked!!! The crackling from the pork was excellent and belly pork not to fatty Only minus was there was no dipping sauce for the belly pork I will definitely go again ❤️ service was lovely

Pricey but tasty. Both takeaway and eat-in are very high-standard. Staff are very nice all the time.

We recently ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, with great service. Have just had a takeaway meal and the food was just as good. Would highly recommend either sit in or eat out, the food is superbly cooked.
